I always read the blurbs, and I cannot believe that I still fall for them? I guess it's because I believe every new book is going to be a five, I just know it is. It depends on you, if you think it's sexy, I don't like gratuitous sexual content to enjoy a book, good writing, and a protagonist that I can have empathy for. I don't think that is asking for too much, or for the person who commits a crime pays for it, yes, that would make me happy. June is getting married again, her first husband died, on their honeymoon, his body never found, yes her stress is causing problems between her and the man who really loves her, is she hallucinating or is that really her husband she keeps seeing? If you remove the sexual content, you have a good old fashioned Hitchcock experience. Thank you #Netgalley #Simon&Shuster

I was very intrigued with the premise of “Till Death Do Us Part”. This novel follows two woman’s lives and how they are interconnected to each other. We get Bev’s story through flashbacks to 1999 and her relationship with her husband and children. One of her children is Josh who has a whirlwind romance with our other main character, June. When Josh dies under mysterious circumstances and June has a hard time letting go. We hear June’s story in the current, 2022 time period. This book is not necessarily a thriller, more of a domestic drama with suspicious death. I will say this is a slow burn and at times I was getting lost in why June was struggling so much with accepting the death of her husband, a man she knew 10 years ago for six months. A lot of the characters actions were a little unbelievable and while the twist at the end definitely surprised me, I also couldn’t help but think this would never happen. Overall, I found the writing engaging and well-crafted, but the story itself left me wanting more.
Thank you to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I really enjoyed this book! I am a wine girlie and I appreciated the detail that went into all the bits about wine and the wine making process- though they weren't 100% necessary for the actual mystery part of the story, I think they added to the book overall and enhanced the storytelling. The story held my attention the whole way through and I did not see the ending twist coming AT ALL. Honestly it made me kind of sad- Josh and Andrew lost their chance to repair their relationship, and Andrew is still hurting over it. I thought Bev's POV was really interesting. June frustrated me a little at times but she wasn't a terrible FMC. Some of the story is a little bit far fetched (like really how did Bev and her sister pull off that swap without a hitch?? And June just up and going to Napa thinking "I'll be back in time to meet with the caterer for my wedding".), but I don't necessarily read for reality ;). Overall this was a very enjoyable book, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow wine lovers.

The premise of this book was solid. What would you do if you saw your dead husband staring at you in the park? Plus we get wine country and wine tastings, which I love.
We get two stories here: current-day June who is looking for answers about her dead husband and Bev, the dead husband's mom, in the past. I struggled to understand why a lot of the characters made most of the choices they made.
Overall, the very slow burn didn't work for me. The flashing back and forward didn't add anything because we got so few additional details in the flashbacks that it almost felt like it's own novel. Further, the mystery resolution largely relied on a lot of coincidences, assumptions that people are apparently clueless and completely unobservant, and a big reveal in the epilogue that wasn't set up in any way throughout the book.
A huge thank you to the author and the publisher for providing an e-ARC via NetGalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

I loved Laurie Elizabeth Flynn's previous book, but I think Till Death Do Us Part takes the cake as my new favorite of hers. I absolutely sprinted through this novel, which focuses on two women in an interconnected family in different timelines who are dealing with family issues and loss. There were so many twists in this novel and I did not see any of them coming, but I had to know what was going to happen.

Thank you so much for giving me the chance and opportunity to read this fantastic thriller while on vacation. I did NOT see the twist or the end coming, and am always so thankful for a page turner that isn't obvious. I adored each character and the setting, and hope this author writes more books! Thank you!

This was good! Reminded me of a lifetime movie, lol. The setting was different and I loved the little knowledge that came through about Napa in story. It was a good thriller and gave some edge of your seat vibes.

This is a slow-burn with a good premise and a few decent twists.
It’s hard for me to understand why some of these characters act the way they do and how their decision making process works, like are you ok? Do you need help? What a silly question, of course you do!
Some events just seem a bit too convenient and a tad far-fetched hence suspension of disbelief is definitely needed as these scenarios unfold.
And you’ll have to wait till the epilogue to get the main question answered and it’s one of those unexpected and honestly quite ‘out there’ twists.
This was just ok.

A nice light escape and a good beach. read. Nicely written. Good luck with the book and thanks for the opportunity to read.

What a wild ride. June's husband (only known him for 6 months), drowned on their honeymoon and with his body never being found she insists he is still alive. 10 years later when she is about to remarry, she starts to see him around the city and then stumbles upon a Napa winery website (his family owned one years prior) and she sees him in a picture.. as the owner.
It was definitely suspenseful and had a lot of twists and turns- 4 stars because some of it was a bit complicated to follow and was really far fetched to me. I do recommend!

While I started off really enjoying this read and not wanting to put it down to sleep or be responsible, it began to lose me 45-50% through. The repetition of past events or sentiments made it boring and hard to push through. The past events that were leading to the “Josh was murdered” or “Josh was a murderer” narratives felt like two mismatched puzzle pieces being forced together. The seemingly “Ah Ha!” moments didn’t feel that shocking or exciting at all.
I did, however, love the feminist themes and Bev’s journey of finding and accepting her true self, as well as the raw honesty around losing yourself in motherhood and questioning whether you made the wrong decision in becoming a mother/how you navigated motherhood. For me, these moments made the story relatable and reignited the desire to finish the book.

This was an excellent and suspenseful book! I loved it, and I plan to read more from this author. An assume dead husband returns right with his wife is set to move on. I was on the end of my seat.

Great book. Suspenseful throughout with a very unexpected ending, i would highly recommend this to anyone interested in a fast paced good mystery.

A dead husband who’s not really dead? While June is happily engaged to Kyle after having lost her husband, Josh, to a drowning accident ten years prior, she thinks she sees a very much alive Josh from a distance on more than one occasion. While others try to convince her she’s imagining things, she’s determined to find the truth. An alternating storyline involves Josh’s mother, Bev, which takes place two decades earlier when Josh is a teenager. As the two timelines collide we are left to wonder if Josh is the wonderful person June thought she knew.
It was a bit confusing to keep June and Bev’s stories straight. They were similar in age, both speaking in the first person, both involved in winemaking, and both having one female compatriot to share their stories with. I also thought the ending contained a couple of coincidental and far-fetched scenarios. Notwithstanding those issues, this was a book I had a hard time putting down. It was a solid four star read for me.
Thanks to Simon and Schuster and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

Solid thriller that keeps you engaged and entertained throughout the whole story. I really enjoyed the book as a whole and would recomend this to other readers.

What in the world did I just read!? Till Death Do Us Part is a story of a missing husband on his honeymoon, presumed dead, who miraculously shows back up before his wife’s new marriage. Absolutely wild.

I enjoyed this. There was a plot point at the end that I didn't really care for--I felt the information had been unfairly withheld. Other readers may not consider it a problem. The book is very well-written, and I was invested in the outcome. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley.

Overall I enjoyed the book and the setting. The twists in general were good but I did not love the ending at all. It really did not make much sense in that it just seemed too unrealistic if that makes sense. Still not a bad book though!

Ten years ago, on her honeymoon, June lost her husband when he drowned after taking a mysterious swim and texting her a message that seemed to be from someone else. Now June, in love and engaged to marry someone else, spots her dead husband Josh, or is she just imagining that it's him? The explanation is more complicated than readers can imagine. It's one of the twists in this book.
After seeing Josh on a winery website in Napa, June makes an excuse to get away and visits the winery. While Josh, using another name, isn't there, his wife and children are. Did he lead a double life, or is June mistaken? And, if he's dead, was he murdered the same way as a prior girlfriend who drowned years ago? These questions are answered with other twists. I found the ending, although it didn't tie everything up, fit well. I enjoyed the story and recommend it.

2 stars! ⭐️⭐️
Let me begin by saying I love wine. I love wineries, tastings and vineyards. The setting of this book is what made me decide to click that “Request” button on NetGalley. This is what bumped it to a 2 star book for me - the only reason.
June’s new husband has drowned on their honeymoon. His body has never been found. Ten years later, she’s moved on and is engaged to a new guy. One day, she sees her dead husband watching her. Is he really dead or is she losing it? Sounds interesting enough. No.
The remainder of the book is her trying to figure out what happened and if he really is still alive. There are alternating POV‘s and alternating timelines. I was so bored most of the time that I almost ditched it. The little twists here and there were just weak to me. The last 1/3 picked up a little, but I just really didn’t care for these people anymore. Horrible characters - nobody to root for.
The end of this book really pissed me off. I can’t say what happened without spoilers. That’s what did me in. The final twist at the very end came out of left field and made no sense. New readers of this genre (this is more of a domestic drama than a thriller) may appreciate it, but I’m too seasoned for that nonsense.
I really enjoyed Flynn’s first novel, but I wish I could get the time back that I spent reading this one.
Thank you to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for my advanced copy to read and review.
