Wow, how do you deal with your dead husband being alive 10 yrs later.
You've moved on...
June is owner of a wine bar and engaged to be married. What do you do when you see a ad for a winery in California. The owner is a perfect match for her late husband. How can this be??? She has to find out and goes to California to find out...
Read it and find out what transpires.

This book is a wild ride and the whole time I thought I had it all figured out BUT boy was I wrong. I loved the twist and turns throughout this book. I enjoyed the dual POV and found it enriched the story along the way. I also appreciated the incorporation of wine and learning about the wine industry. Overall, this was a solid story!

I received a DIGITAL Advance Reader Copy of this book from #NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book was okay. I didn't realize that it was going to be two different points of view and timelines. I was fully expecting a mystery thriller and this was one timeline with a woman trying to figure what happened to her first husband and another timeline about a failing marriage and falling in love again. So in the end not really a mystery thriller more like a mystery romance.
The beginning was very slow for me so it took a little while to get into. I also hate how it ended, yes you find out what happened to her husband but I'm still not fully clear on what happened to Michelle. I also kind of hate how June doesn't have full closure from her first husband.

June has finally moved on from the tragic death of her young husband, Josh, years ago. But while taking engagement photos with her fiancé, June is certain she sees Josh in the distance. Searching for answers, June takes off to Napa, hoping to find out more about Josh's mysterious death. As more details emerge, June begins to wonder what kind of man she had married.
Told in back-and-forth perspectives between present-day June and the past experiences of her mother-in-law Beverly, this suspenseful novel will keep you hooked until the very end.

TILL DEATH DO US PART by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn was a slow build full of twists and turns that left me completely off kilter.
Ten years ago, after a whirlwind romance and while on their honeymoon, June Emery lost her husband to drowning. Grieving her loss she thought she would never love again. But six years ago she met Kyle and as their wedding approaches she wonders if she is seeing her dead husband wherever she goes. Kyle feels like he can never live up to the wonders of Josh. After June sees of photo of a Napa Valley winery and zeros in on one of the people in the picture, Kyle reluctantly support her desire to go to Napa to investigate. Could the man in the photo be her beloved Josh? After all, his body was never found. The owner of a natural wine bar, June has the perfect excuse to visit the winery in an attempt to find out who the man in the photo really is.
When she gets to Napa Valley, June begins to learn a different side of her beloved Josh. Told in separate timelines, we learn the story of Josh’s family who were not present at their spur of the moment wedding. As one revelation leads to the next, June learns bits and pieces about the Josh she didn’t know. Could his past have led up to his eventual drowning? And what really happened on his parent’s winery all those years ago?
I really enjoyed this one. The writing was clear and concise which led to an enjoyable read. I could feel the sun on my face and hear the whisper of the breeze through the grapevine. I especially liked the dual timelines and learning of Josh’s childhood interspersed to show June’s discoveries. As in her previous novel, Ms Flynn delivers a puzzle, one piece at a time. I can’t wait to see where she takes me next.
Thank you to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for this ARC opportunity. All opinions are my own and given voluntarily.

This book is full of twists with enough domestic drama to keep you interested! This is the first time I've read anything from this author and it won't be the last! I really enjoy the story when I can't guess where the plot twists, it makes it more satisfying.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I was excited about this book when I read the description, but ultimately it just wasn’t for me. It was hard to keep my attention and I wasn’t a fan of the constant cheating, especially since it was hypocritical of the main character. I’m sure others will enjoy it, there are several twists to keep the reader guessing.

This was a fun mystery with an intriguing premise -- it's been ten years since June’s husband drowned on their honeymoon. His body was never found.
Now June is ready to get remarried and she's inexplicably seeing her husband -- in the park and outside her business, a natural wine bar in Brooklyn. Is it guilt over moving on or is there another explanation for why Josh is showing up in her life? When she sees his photo on a website for a Napa winery June can't ignore it anymore.
Determined to get answers she lies to everyone in her life and heads to Napa for answers. This was not quite the story I was expected and the twists were definitely not ones I saw coming. I would say suspend a little disbelief and enjoy the wild ride.
We get a second POV and a second timeline set in Napa. Twisty mysteries ensue and some secrets don't stand a chance of staying hidden!

In 2012, June Kelly’s husband, Josh, drowned while on their honeymoon. His body was never recovered. Now, in 2022, June, 39, owns a natural wine bar called Grape Juice. She has been with Kyle for six years and he wants to marry her. He is the VP of a private equity firm. Several times now, June is convinced that she has seen Josh watching her, but when runs after him, he always gets lost in the crowd. She wonders if her mind is playing tricks on her. Her latest sighting has convinced her that he is alive and so she travels to Napa to see if she can find Josh at a winery that his parents used to own. She feels guilty not telling Kyle where she is really going but knows that she cannot marry him until she is certain that Josh is not still alive.
When Josh was a young teen, something happened between him and his girlfriend, Abby, that has been covered over by his father, David. Another time, something happened to Josh’s girlfriend, Michelle, that sent all of them reeling.
In this story, the characters are many and complex with their own unique problems. The plot is written to confuse the reader which I did not care for. I want to enjoy a story and not spend time frowning and rereading parts of a book to see if I can figure out if I missed something along the way. The ending was startling but not that surprising. While there is a lot of family angst, I can say that the only character I liked was June. Bev is a selfish woman and I cannot believe what she did. But if you are brave and want to work through this book, do so knowing that you will have to keep your thinking cap on your head the whole time.

Ten years ago, June and Josh were married soon after meeting, only for him to drown on their honeymoon. His body was never found and June was not convinced it was an accident. But today, she is engaged to Kyle, living in Brooklyn, and she owns a natural wine bar. She's ready for a new chapter in her life. But then she sees Josh. Is it a hallucination from her grief or did he never really die? When she starts delving further, she is in for some huge surprises.
I really got lost in this book. The setting in Napa Valley and the wine talk helped, and I loved the descriptions of the wine-making process that started each part. The story unfolds from the POV of June in the present and Bev, Josh's mother, in the past. I got involved in both storylines and hated to switch, only to get very involved in the other. I felt for the characters and I never saw the twists coming; there are lots of secrets here. Great read!

Thank you to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for the eARC.
I found this thriller to be a really unique ride. You think your new spouse is dead only to see a photo years later? I couldn't put it down.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for the copy. Till Death Do Us Part alternates between the POVs of June and Bev. Ten years ago, June married Josh, who died shortly after their wedding. Bev is Josh’s mother. I enjoyed that the storyline alternated POVs and years. I kept me guessing until the end. June believes that Josh’s death was no accident, so she travels to Napa to find out more information. I enjoyed learning facts about how wine is made. I do feel like the twist at the end came out of no where. I also feel like some of my questions were left unanswered.

The main thing I kept thinking the whole time I was reading this book is that it felt like it was taken directly from a soap opera. Then the two major twists confirmed this feeling - they were taken directly from soap opera tropes! I'm not always a fan of dual perspectives and timelines, and it felt like this wasn't the right choice to tell this particular story. I might have been able to get past all of this, except that there was a MAJOR plot point that was left completely unfinished. This felt like lazy writing (or just bad guidance from an editor). The only reason this wasn't a one-star read is because the actual premise was intriguing. I'm not likely to check out more books from this writer based on these points though.

Do you every really know someone?
On a June day ten years earlier, after a brief but intense romance June married Josh on a beach in Santa Barbara. Her best friend thought it was too soon, and his mother didn’t seem to like June very much, but they were in love and happy. Seven days later, June was declared a widow when Josh went for a swim in the ocean and never came back. Devastated and not convinced that his death was an accident, June has struggled to go on with her life….she is even been prone to seeing someone and being convinced it is Josh, only to realize each time it has been her imagination. She has spent years building up her business in Brooklyn, a natural wine bar called Grape Juice, and has entered into a relationship with a grounded and supportive man. Kyle is a VP at a private equity firm, and after six years of dating she has just accepted his proposal. When looking at places in Napa where they could have their wedding she looks at the website of the Backyard Winery, a small family-owned vineyard in St Helena. She is stunned when she sees a photo of Andrew and Sadie Smith who own and run the winery….because Andrew looks just Ike Josh. After having so many times claimed that she has seen Josh, June is reluctant to tell anyone what she has discovered, but knows she has to find out the truth. She tells Kyle she is going on a business trip in upstate NY and instead flies out to Napa to find Andrew/Josh and find out what happened ten years earlier. In fact, she will find out that Josh’s story dates back even earlier, to when when his parents Bev and David ran the winery under a different name and a scandal involving Josh disrupted the whole family. What happened with Josh in high school? Why was Bev opposed to his marrying June? What happened at the beach the day Josh disappeared? And, in seeking to put the past to rest once and for all, will June instead destroy her chance at a happy future?
Set in the beautiful wine country of Napa, California, this is a twisty tale of a woman trying to move on from a tragic past and a lost love. It is hard to imagine being anything but destroyed when the person you consider the love of your life disappears and is presumed dead just seven days after your wedding. How do you get over that? June threw herself into work, building the business she and Josh had discussed during their romance. Her relationship with Kyle is completely different from what she shared with Josh….cautious and grounded rather than impulsive. To think that she has found Josh alive just when she was ready to fully commit to Kyle is horrific. Kyle has been extraordinarily patient and understanding with June’s skittishness over the years, but even he can’t be expected to accept another delay. There are three different stories woven into one in this novel, that of Bev, coping with an unfaithful husband and a son who may have committed a horrible act, that of the relationship between June and Josh, before and after his disappearance, and that of June in the present day, determined to find out the truth of what happened so that she can finally move on. Who the women are and what in their backgrounds shaped them and the lives they would lead unfold as they deal with mysterious and tragic occurrences, and the chapters bob back and forth between the different time periods. Plot twists are entwined as well, and I enjoyed finding my way to the conclusions in each period while revisiting an area where I spent a fantastic vacation years ago. Readers of authors like Rachel Hawkins, Sara Ochs and Anne Rivers Siddons would enjoy this suspenseful novel, as would people who might want to do some armchair travelling to wine country. Many thanks to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for gifting me an early copy of the novel in exchange for my honest review.

This was definitely a page turner! It showcased numerous points of view. I did get a bit frustrated when the book switched from one time line and point of view to another. The characters were well developed. Felt there was sub-stories that we could have gotten a resolution on. Overall a very enjoyable book.
Thank you to the Publisher and Netgalley for this ARC. All opinions stated are my own.

“TILL DEATH DO US PART” is a wild ride from start to finish. Set in the gorgeous Napa Valley, this book is packed with twists, secrets, and a whole lot of drama. If you’re into thrillers with shocking surprises and dark, juicy secrets, you’ll love this. The plot is as twisty as a vine, and it kept me hooked with its sexy, gritty, and gripping storytelling. The characters are intense, and the themes of love, loss, and family make it all the more compelling. Flynn’s writing is as rich as the Napa wine, making this an addictive read you won’t want to put down. Perfect for fans of twisty thrillers and sultry drama. 5 magical stars!

A chilling novel of lies, secrets, and countless deceptions. Almost everyone is harboring something and the story gets scarier as it goes along.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thank you @simonbooks and @netgalley for the ARC. I really enjoyed Flynn’s last book, The Girls Are All So Nice Here, and I was excited to read another title by the author. I love thrillers and I love wine country, so I was *ecstatic* to read this thriller set in St. Helena. All the Napa Valley cab, please! 🍷
This is the story of June, who lost her husband Josh it was appeared to be a drowning accident (his body was never recovered) just one week after their wedding. Ten years later, June is engaged to a new man she loves, owns a natural wine bar In Brooklyn, and is thriving until she starts seeing a man that looks just like Josh following her around in New York. June begins to question if she’s hallucinating or if Josh even really died? Told primarily from June’s POV and Josh’s mother’s POV back in 1999, this was an addicting read and I did not want to put it down. This was so much more than a thriller and examined the identity of a woman, the sacrifices made in motherhood, processing grief, and so much more. Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good mystery.

This novel started slow but really hooked me as I got to know the character and style of writing. This is told from dual POV, with half the chapters in the past and half in current day. There is a cast of half a dozen characters that took me a bit to understand who was who. The twists and turns at the end caught me off guard in the best way.
Thank you Simon & Schuster and Netgalley for the ARC.

June’s husband drowned on their honeymoon. Now, ten years later, June is happily engaged and running a thriving natural wine bar. The only problem is she keeps catching glimpses of her first husband Josh. Is he still alive or is she just feeling guilt for moving on?
And when she sees her husband’s face on the website of a winery in Napa, June’s life starts spiraling out of control. Before she can move on, she needs to head to Napa and search for answers. What she finds there is more than she bargained for.
I really enjoyed the alternating POVs and kept reading to see how they were connected. Additionally, I found the descriptions of the Napa Valley, wineries and wine education to be interesting. The pacing was good, and there were many new secrets and turning points that kept me going.
The only thing I struggled with in this book was the ending. I’m interested to see what others think now that the book has come out. I think this was a solid read and look forward to seeing what the author comes out with next.
Thank you to Laurie Elizabeth Flynn, Simon & Schuster and NetGalley for an advance e-copy of the book for an honest review.
