Laurie Elizabeth Flynn's The Girls Are All So Nice Here is an absolutely stunning read, and Till Death Do Us Part is everything I was hoping it would be. Flynn's writing is gorgeous, seamlessly building backstory and conflict with every chapter. The characters are refreshingly nuanced, each voice well-executed and engaging. In June, we get an interesting focus with wine and relationships, and I loved how the process paralleled what was happening between the characters. Without giving anything away, the subtle connections worked really well, and I couldn't put this down once I started. I finished it in a single sitting and am sad that it's over.
A total must-read, Till Death Do Us Part is one you don't want to miss.
Huge thanks to Simon and Schuster and NetGalley for providing an eARC in exchange for honest review consideration.

Ten years ago, June's husband drowned on their honeymoon, & the body was never recovered. Now, she is finally moving on with her life. She owns a natural wine bar, and is engaged to Kyle. Then one day, she spots Josh across the park. But by the time she reaches the place where she saw him, he is gone. Then, while looking at websites for wineries in Napa, she stumbles upon a family owned winery, and the husband in the picture is identical to Josh. Needing closure before she marries again, June heads to Napa for answers. But she’s not prepared for all of the secrets she’s about to unlock, because everything she thought she knew about her first love is a lie.
This dual-timeline book is told in alternating chapters between Josh's mother Bev in the past and June in the present. It starts out at a bit of a slow burn, but once the storyline picks up the pace, the book becomes much more enjoyable. I will say, Bev wasn't at all likeable, and June just seemed unhinged and did things that no sane person would have done all throughout the book. Other than that, I really enjoyed it, and it kept me guessing until the very end as to whether Josh was really alive or if not, then what had really happened to him. Also, in question, was whether or not Josh was the good guy that June originally believed him to be. Overall, if you are a fan of mysteries and suspense, then you should check this out.

My thanks to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for the ARC of "Til Death Do Us Part" in exchange for an honest review.
In this domestic thriller, there's mystery and murder alright, but the heavy emphasis here is weighted toward domestic drama. Troubled marriages, family secrets deeply buried, infidelities and toxic sibling rivalries of children coming back to unsettle their parents.
And all of this unfolds amidst Napa Valley wineries, where the grapes are fermenting to fruition right along with the familial grapes of wrath. of the growers.
Back East, the tragically widowed June, the owner of a Brooklyn wine bar is now, ten years later, happily planning a wedding to her fiance Kyle. But she lives with haunted memories of her brief marriage to the impetuous force=of-nature Josh who mysteriously drowned on their honeymoon, his body never recovered.
And here's where the book starts to hook you, so you'll know you' won't stop til you finish it. June catches glimpses of Josh, or someone who looks exactly like him. A double? Or a resurrected Josh for real? Her ceaseless, obsessive google searches lead her to a Napa winery, whose owner looks exactly like the man she spotted on the streets.
On her own secretive mission to Napa, June stays at the winery's small hotel, hoping to meet Andrew and Sadie the married couple who own the vineyard.....especially 'Andrew', who's conveniently out of town on business.
End of me talking plot, because of course, here's where the revelations and twists begin to make themselves known. To deepen the story and characters there's parallel flashback chapters dealing with Josh's mother Bev (also a vineyard owner with husband David). These occur around the time of Josh's tumultuous adolescence, riddled with.......well, that's for readers to find out.
"Til Death Do Us Part' kept me intrigued and reading but I found some of the twists problematic and at least one major twist that's simply too far-fetched and pushes a reader's ability to swallow it. And leaving one of the mysteries unsolved and forgotten didn't help my impression either.
A great set-up that makes you determined to find out all the answers. But I'm not sure how many people will go along with those reveals when they're finally laid bare.

This is my true and honest review, thank you NetGalley for the opportunity. Went into this blind as I did not read much of the synopsis for this story. It started off intriguing June is set to marry a new man after 10 years of recovering her first husband that "died" a week into their marriage and it got me hooked to turn the pages but as it went on, it slowly started to loose my interest. The back and forth between Bev and June i kept loosing track. I would of preferred it being separated and start with June for a section then dive into the past giving off Bev's side minus some sections that I personally think didn't need to be added in, and then tapping back into Junes present day story. The characters were great just feel that i did a lot of back and forth. Has a great storyline once you get more then halfway done.

WHAT DID I JUST READ!!!! I can’t even begin to describe how much I loved this book. I thought I had it figured out a couple times. But that ENDING 🤯 I didn’t not see that coming at all. This book has it all. It has family drama, love, finding ones self, struggles to find ones place, heart break, happiness. This book will make you smile, it will make you cry and it will have you flipping through the pages. I love how this book is told in dual POV and in past and present timelines. Those are my favorite types of books, every chapter is a cliff hanger and has you flipping through the next section so you can find out where you left off. I can not recommend this book enough. I love ending that leave you saying “what just happened”.

Till Death Do Us Part by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn is a propelling story.
Full of shocking secrets and big time lies!
I enjoyed characterization and story’s development. Twists are predictable but ending was still satisfying and well played.
I found this one really binge-able, and I was totally sucked into the story.
Thank You NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!

Till Death Do Us Part by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn was unputdownable! I was sucked into this dual point of view thriller with a dash of family drama. The majority of the book takes place in Napa and the wine descriptions were amazing!
June lost her husband in a freak accident on her honeymoon. Now ten years later, she’s engaged but believes her dead husband is following her.
While there were multiple story lines, they mostly tied up together in the end. Through twists and turns I never saw the ending coming! I really enjoyed this book! Definitely recommend this as an early fall read with a full bodied cab or Chardonnay. I can’t wait to read what Laurie writes next!
Thank you to NetGalley and Simon & Schuster for an advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

Is he dead or alive -- and who is he anyway? When a woman catches a glimpse of the man she eloped with for a romantic wedding who has been presumed dead after being missing for years, she cannot rest until she puts this mystery to rest once and for all, for her own sanity and that of the man she is engaged to marry. A fantastically well-written thriller with all the twists and turns AND phenomenal writing that put me right into June's shoes, chasing what seems to be a phantom and then untangling an intricate web of truth and lies. Don't start reading this too close to bed or you'll be up way too late, thinking one more chapter and then finding another reason to keep going. I received a copy of this book and these thoughts are my own, unbiased opinions.

Till Death Do Us Part is a twisty, sexy ride that leads the readers through multiple reveals to understand what exactly happened to June's first husband.
Ten years ago, June married Josh, only to be devastated when he died shortly after on their honeymoon. After years of healing, she's engaged to a charming man named Kyle, when she thinks she sees her husband Josh. Not thinking it could be possible, she tries to tell herself she's just hallucinating him because she feels guilty for moving on. But then she finds a picture of a winery owner in Napa who looks exactly like Josh, and she has to go figure out if it's really him.
Told in alternating perspectives between June and Josh's mother, this story unfolds with reveal after reveal leading to a wild conclusion!
Fans of May Cobb and Jaime Lynn Hendricks will love this one.

DNF at 40%. There was unexpected on-the-page sexual content that is not mentioned in the book description. No, thank you.
But I could have skimmed past it had the book not been so boring otherwise. I loved the technical wine-making talk until it became repetitive instead of insightful. The main characters don't have much personality. The writing is confusing at times; I'd have to read passages over and over to understand who the pronouns were referring to, what part of the timeline was happening or being referenced to.
Thanks to NetGalley and Simon and Schuster for an e-arc to read and review voluntarily and honestly.

I found the book's premise intriguing, but the multiple POVs and timelines made it hard to follow. The characters were unlikeable, and the story felt overwhelming with too much going on. It just just okay for me.

A fab read.
Ten years ago, June’s beloved husband drowned on their honeymoon, his body never found. Now, a decade later, June is finally ready to move on. She owns a natural wine bar in Brooklyn and is engaged to a patient, supportive man named Kyle. She’s excited to finally begin a new chapter in her life and start a family. But out of the blue, she sees him—Josh, her first husband. Is this just a hallucination from the guilt June carries about finally moving on, or is it possible that her husband never died in the first place? June tries to forget about this vision, chalking it up to grief and nerves, but soon enough, she stumbles across a website for a winery in Napa, and the owner in the photo is identical to her dead husband. With her upcoming wedding looming and a fiancé who’s already worried she hasn’t quite left her past behind, June secretly flies to Napa for answers. But she’s not prepared for all the secrets she’s about to unlock because everything she thought she knew about her first love is a lie.
Thanks to NetGalley and Simon Schuster for giving me an advance copy.

I really enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. In this story you get great setting of Napa wineries and lots of references to wine making and wine drinking. You also get beautifully written family drama. This story is written in two POVs - June - young widow who lost her husband Josh just days after their wedding and Bev - Josh's mother.
As we read more about Bev's and Josh's past we start learning that everyone has secrets and they are not who they appear to be.
This book is not really a thriller but very well written family drama and mystery with so many twists that it is be hard to put it down. Great summer and fall read! And don't forget to get yourself a glass of wine while you are reading it :)
Thank you Simon & Schuster and the author for a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I wasn't expecting the "mystery" involved with this book. Maybe I didn't read the description clearly. That being said, I don't usually read books like this but I found myself wanting to read to find out what happened to June's first husband, Josh. They met and married within 6 months and then Josh died within a week of them being married. Josh's body was never recovered from the ocean where he had "gone for a swim" and June had reason to believe his death was suspicious. Ten years later, June is getting re-married to Kyle who she's been with for several years. She sees her deceased husband twice in NY and decides to return to CA to figure out the truth about what happened to Josh. Told in alternating chapters in the present with June and in the past with Bev, Josh's Mom. Interesting story.

This is a dual timeline mystery, you hear from June in the present day who’s first husband Josh disappeared and from Bev, (Josh’s mother) in the past. It has a slow start and definitely took me some time to become interested but I did get there by about the halfway point. I would say that the suspense is on the lighter side, more general fiction with mystery elements and lacking some heightened tension that I would’ve appreciated. The last quarter of the book gets crazy, so many twists and reveals, truly wild stuff that you usually see on the Lifetime channel. It was almost a little too over the top for me, but in the end I did enjoy this one.

Till Death Do Us Part
by Laurie Elizabeth Flynn
Pub Date: Aug 13 2024
Till Death Do Us Part is told in two different time lines by two different woman, June in the present time line and Bev in the past.
The stories kept going back and forth which made it difficult for me to keep track of the relationships between the two woman until half way through the book. Once I figured it out the story became very interesting!
There is a real twist at the ending, it answered all of the twists and turns through out the story. I recommend this book.
Many thanks to #NetGalley, #Simon&Schuster & TillDeathDoUsPart for providing me with an E-ARC of this book.

Thank you to Laurie Elizabeth Flynn, Simon and Schuster, and NetGalley for the eARC of this book. This is my honest review.
Ten years ago, June's husband, Josh, drowns while they are on their honeymoon, and his body is never found. Ten years later, June is moving on from that terrible incident and is now happily engaged to Kyle, but her husband's mysterious disappearance and assumed death is still something she thinks of since the truth was never actually discovered. June also is finding herself seeing Josh around town and questions everything. Throughout the story, June attempts to find out the truth about what happened to Josh, and she finds out things she did not know about.
This book is dual-POV, with one POV being June, and the other POV being Bev, Josh's mom.
For me, this book was a bit slowly paced, and didn't really pick up at all until the second half. It was very hard to power through the first half and there were times where I had to put my kindle down and read something more exciting. How much detail about wine can you add into a thriller book? Apparently a lot, and it dragged on. Also, I would not call this book a thriller. Maybe more of a suspense.
However, once things started to pick up, there were more twists and turns that kept me on my toes and guessing. The ending was also something that I was not expecting, and I was not a fan.

Thank you Simon & Schuster for the gifted copy!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.2️⃣5️⃣
This book had me flipping pages so fast basically from the very beginning. The pacing was so good and each chapter left me needing to know more immediately. Set in Napa Valley 🍷 Wine Country, told from dual perspectives and alternating timelines, we have two “accidental” deaths over a decade apart.. but were they accidental? Are coincidences at play or something more devious?
The twists were twisting, there were lies and betrayals a plenty, and you’ll be side eyeing everyone. There needs to be some suspension of disbelief as not all of the twists were completely realistic, but they were not so far fetched that it took away from my enjoyment of the story! I did not see the final twist coming! This probably would have been a 4.5 ⭐️ for me, but as a mom I found one aspect of the story to just rub me the wrong way right at the end, and the ending almost always makes it or breaks it for me! Either way I really enjoyed this one and am happy it found its way to my mailbox!

Wow! This is one of those stories where the past and present collide meeting somewhere in the middle and when it’s all said and done, only the strongest will survive. I absolutely loved this story. I’ve never read this author before, but she’s made a fan out of me for real.
Ten years prior, June was on top of the world. She and her new husband were ready to conquer the world if they had each other by their side. They had just finished making love and their spent energy caused them to be hungry. June’s husband gave her a gentle kiss and told her he’d be right back with a delicious breakfast. She advised him not to take too long as she purred and cooed for her amazing husband.
As giddy as June felt with being a newlywed and all the wonder that comes along with it, unfortunately a tragedy struck her like a huge punch to the gut. Josh was dead. He was a young man with hopes and dreams and ready to take on the world with June but his life was snuffed out faster than a flickering candle.
It’s now ten years later and although June went through hell and back, fate once again struck her heart, and she was about to get married to Kyle. Kyle was nothing like Josh, but the one true thing June loved about him is that he was so understanding and nurturing in dealing with her feelings on what happened in her past. Because let’s face it, June wasn’t willing nor sure if she was able to go through another heartbreak tragedy as she did ten years ago. Kyle loved June with all his heart and he would do everything in his power to make her happy.
Meanwhile, Bev Kelly, June’s ex-mother-in-law, was dealing with her own set of issues ten year’s ago. She had just given birth to another son while learning to deal with her eldest son, Josh. Even though there wasn’t any way Bev could know how heartbreaking it was for June to lose her husband, it was equally as devasting to her as a parent to lose a child. Especially, the nature in which Josh died—by drowning. Josh was an excellent swimmer. No one in the Kelly family could understand how Josh drowned. There had to be something more to it. But what? As Bev and June take the readers on both of their journeys, one thing is going to become very clear, did either of them truly know who Josh Kelly was? OMG! I loved, loved, loved this story!
You have two different women’s perspectives with one man in common between them. Both of their experiences were opposites, yet the same. What do I mean by that, you ask? You must read this awesome novel to find out! Oooooh Nerds, I believe this story is going on my all-time favorite list. Yasss!
What Flynn did was take a tragedy and allow the characters to invite us in to see for ourselves just what was going on. The story captures everyone’s view and perception so well. You will become so invested in this story that the rest of the world will completely disappear and the only thing you’ll be doing is concentrating on getting to the next page. I did not want to put this book down. I absolutely loved it.

A powerful tale of motherhood and marriage, Till Death Do Us Part made it evident that there was a virtuoso at work behind the intoxicating words. From the evocative setting and onion-like plot, I was immediately immersed in the Napa Valley vineyards and the many dark lies. I do have to say, however, that this poignant story was far more domestic suspense/family drama than thriller. Don’t get me wrong, there were plenty of downright jaw-dropping twists, but the slow burn nature of the ever evolving plot meant that it didn’t quite meet the threshold of thrills and chills for me.
That’s not to say that I wasn’t riveted. With dual distinct POVs that narrated from two decades apart, I couldn’t imagine how they could ever come together. But when they did finally converge, the resolution to the multiple mysteries held within these pages was utterly spellbinding. Complex and ultimately sadder than expected, the last bombshell reveal quite literally made me gasp. Even that, though, wasn’t the strongest piece to the puzzle. Those were the characters. Genuine and finely layered, they all had me in the palm of their hands—up to and including both June and Bev.
All said and done, while this book wasn’t quite what I was expecting, it was everything that I wanted. With depth to the characters and secrets upon secrets to unravel, my eyes never wavered from the pages. In fact, I was so swept up in this story that I read it in just one single sitting. I do have say, though, that it felt quite different from Flynn’s prior novel. But despite the more women’s fiction leaning, this premise nevertheless delivered in spades. So if you like suspense with a soft touch or a low-key thriller, give this book a try. I absolutely inhaled it and I think you will too. Rating of 4 stars.
