I find the user guide to be helpful in by explaining how to use the journal. The only drawback is that it is hard to have them both open at the same time which might be necessary for some.

Based on my experience, it seems like the recommended software for android no longer has a free version. At least, not that I could find on their website.

this was an amazing addition to the reading journal! I was struggling to figure out how to utilize the reading journal on my computer as I don't have Acrobat, and this gave me a great step by step on how to use goodnotes to use the journal as well as some other advice for adding book information and stickers. I am so excited to use the journal now!
