Did not find this format helpful. Reading journals are very personal. This one did not fit me. Perhaps other will find helpful. I keep my reading by year in a small, handy notebook.

I’m still not sure the benefits of using a reading journal over logging your read books in an app like StoryGraph or Booksy. I think this is more of a “Me” issue though. I’m sure I could get more onboard seeing a few examples!

The Reading Journal User Guide is well-written and covers the basics pretty clearly for the most part. As someone who likes to stay organized and enjoys finding various ways to do so, I thought this might be right up my alley. However, it's in need of either an update or a more clear explanation of the fact that Xodo is not free for Windows and is only free as a PDF reader (not editor) for Android. There may be free PDF editors out there for Windows, but this isn't one, and no alternatives were mentioned. Subtracted a star for the misleading info about Xodo and another because I was forced to give feedback on something that wasn't relevant to me once I found out I'd have to pay for a separate app to use it. (For things like this, there should be an option to remove it from your shelf once you realize it's not relevant to you.)

Thank you NetGalley for the Guide on how to use the Reading Journal. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. However, I personally do not see myself using the Reading Journal, but I appreciate it. It seems very tedious for being that you are mostly filling in information that you can already find on the website. Almost like double work to log it all.

I loved this user friendly guide! It helped me figure out how to download and import the book into good notes!
