It's been a while since a read a Werewolf book and this did not disappoint, I wasn't able to put it down because it's sooo good!!!.
The book is about a human woman that works as a assistant to the CEO but he's an alpha.
First they keep everything professional but then they start getting close and things get intense.
I liked the chemistry of the characters and that it was fast and how everything evolve.

Than you Netgalley for letting me read the ARC For an honest opinion.

I could not put this book down and the ending....... had me screaming. So good. So perfect. But I need the next book now.
Madi is a great character. Pull of passion and drive. Her focus is her family and what she needs to do to give her brother every chance in life she can.
Brick is brilliant. Commanding, powerful, and gruff. Everything you would expect the Big Bad Boss to be.
Madi is the first person in a long time to stand up to Brick. His acceptance of her and the humour around this is well played.
I love the too and fro. The characters balance each other well, and the friction with the pack, Billy especially, is entertaining.
I was captivated by this story. The detail and emotion flows from the page.
I loved it and highly recommend this book and authors.

Big Bad Boss - Midnight is book one in the Werewolves of Wallstreet series.

Brick hates his new assistant. She’s whip-smart, overly-capable, the only employee of his who dares talk back. And the little human smells like temptation. The worst kind. One of these days, she’s going to push him too far. And she’s completely unprepared for what happens when you unleash an alpha wolf on his quarry.

Madison hates her boss. The Wall Street tycoon is a jerk. A world-class alpha-hole. She hates her attraction to him. How sparks fly when they spar. She hate how she fantasizes about him during and after work hours. He’s danger wrapped up in power, and he’s getting harder and harder to resist.

I don't know that this alpha versus just plain mean. And Madi is kind of a child. This story stretched too long in the laying out of the story, and rushed the ending. I assume that there will be another book - due to the cliffhanger.

Thanks to NetGalley and Midnight Romance Publishing for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

As soon as I had finished this ARC, I went straight to see how long I would have to wait for the second book! This was a great twist on the Rich MMC character, since the MMC was a werewolf and needed to keep this hidden from the FMC. It worked really well in the development of the characters as he falls further and further in love the FMC. Brick is your typical morally grey and completely loveable MMC who will stop at nothing to get what he wants and has the power to do whatever he wants. The FMC is perfectly sassy and loves to see how far she can push Brick to get what she wants too. I loved their chemistry and interactions throughout and their thoughts with the POV chapters.
Book 2 cannot come soon enough - I need to know what happens from that ending! Literally, my only criticism is the name of the MMC…Brick. As a Brit, it just seems like an unusual name for someone - I’ve certainly never heard of a British person called it! This is absolutely not enough for me to stop reading on and I will definitely be looking out for more from these authors.

I loved the strong charisma of the female character and how she didn't let herself be intimidated. The way both characters couldn't resist each other but still continued to challenge each other everyday ia mesmerizing. However, many things remained unanswered and I can't wait for the second book.

This book was really interesting and easy to read. I loved the characters and the world building.
The plot was really good.
Madi is a really powerful and inspiring person. I really liked her character.
Brick was okay but a bit annoying.

This book ends on a cliffhanger and I'm really curious to know what will happen next.

Thank you NetGalley for this arc.

Big Bad Boss is certainly an apt title. I liked the pararnormal element to the story. A good story with lots of heat. Enjoyed from start to finish.

I hate my new assistant.
I’ve hated them all, but this is a different kind of hate. Her presence is torture.
She’s whip-smart, overly-capable, the only employee of mine who dares talk back.
And the little human smells like temptation. The worst kind.
She dresses to kill, and I’m in danger of dying.
One of these days, she’s going to push me too far.
And she’s completely unprepared for what happens
when you unleash an alpha wolf on his quarry.

I hate my boss.
The Wall Street tycoon is a jerk. A world-class alpha-hole.
Devastatingly handsome but terribly flawed. He goes through assistants like I go through vanilla lattes, and I need this job. But I went to school with bullies like him, so I’m not afraid.
I hate my attraction to him. How sparks fly when we spar.
The way he barks orders and dresses me down.
I hate how I fantasize about him during and after work hours.
He’s danger wrapped up in power,
and he’s getting harder and harder to resist.

Midnight is book one in the Big Bad Boss trilogy. It features a billionaire boss-hole wolf shifter and his freakishly smart assistant.

I was excited to read this book because I haven't gotten into werewolf novels but this did not disappoint. The more I read, the more difficult it was to stop reading. I was hooked.

Brick a total jerk and how I feel would be more stereotypical angry werewolf is the alpha of the pack and the CEO of Moon Co. Madi is a human that needs to make ends meet to help her brother pay for college. Madi took a job with Moon Co. to be the assistant to the assistant and worked her way into being the direct assistant to Brick. Madi earns Brick's trust by being able to read the room, do additional research to have ideas prior to meetings, and just by being stubborn.

The cliff hanger… I don’t even have words but that was a “wtf, no!” moment and I am so mad/excited that is how it ended. I am ready to read further into the series. There is so much more I want to know and hopefully will get answers!

I received an advanced review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A quick and easy read with an ending that had me hanging off a cliff holding on by my fingernails. It left me wanting more for sure. A good amount of spice but could have been spicier

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Not Madison Evans but then she doesn’t know just how big her new boss, Brick Blackthroat’s teeth really are in Big Bad Boss: Midnight, the first book in the Werewolves of Wall Street series.
With a flirty assistant, a dominant alpha hero boss, strong family/pack dynamics and a traitor in the mix, this was a fast paced, fun and spicy story. I loved the heroine Madi. She was just so effervescent and full of life. She wasn’t about to put up with any elitist business type thinking they were better than her because of their social status and gave as good as she got in the boardroom quickly earning Brick’s respect even if he did keep quiet about it. She also wasn’t afraid to tease and poke the bear…... or rather wolf in this particular case and some the wicked banter between her and her boss had me chucking. Brick was more of a mystery. He was arrogant and impatient with a penchant for sacking his assistants when they didn’t jump as high as he wanted. He was attracted to Madi but couldn’t do anything about it as being with a human could cost him and his family everything, but he faced a daily battle with his inner wolf who pushed him to claim her. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger but it’s more of a ‘to be continued’ rather than throw your kindle/book at the wall type and I can’t help but think the secret of Madi’s paternity is going to play a part in what happens next.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

Brick and Madi's story was steamy and perfect!! Brick is a billionaire AND alpha werewolf and Madi is his personal assistant tempting his inner wolf everyday until he finally gives into the temptation.

This was far too short for my liking and ended on a cliffhanger!! I am officially addicted to this series and need to read more by these authors ASAP.

Big Bad Boss: Midnight by Renee Rose & Lee Savino is the First book in the Werewolves of Wallstreet Series. This starts the story of Madison Evans and Brick Blackthroat. Madison has come to Blackthroat to be Brick's assistant. Brick is the alpha to his pack and should be mated to his same kind. Which was gonna be a problem for Brick as he doesn't like Humans. But Madison is human. But Brick can't seem to pull away from her nor does his wolf even allow it really. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next in their story.

This book was soooo good! Full of tension and a fun will they / won't they vibe. This story is a pretty quick read, and really dives you into the characters lives. I really enjoyed Brick and his inner dialogue. He seemed to be really fighting his instincts as well as his control over wanting Maddie. There were a lot of great things about this book. Specifically I LOVE the forbidden-love trope and how it was portrayed in this book! The workplace romance along with the billionaire boss x employee romance in this was written REALLY WELL. I think my only complaint is Brick giving Madison the nickname "windows". And it's just because it's so silly! I love the banter Madison delivers and I love that she is a strong independent woman, despite Brick's alpha tendencies. His hold over her is my favorite!! The big bad was so fun to read, I really want more from Aiden in the next book! And that cliffhanger had me WISHING the second was already here! It was so good!! And Madison hasn't even discovered all there is to know about Brick! Ah!! There's so much to look forward to in this series! I'm mad I don't have my hands on the second book yet! I love it so much!! The descriptors in this book is also SOOO GOOD. Especially for Brick, if you know what I mean!
Add in the reason why this story is called, Big Bad Boss, and you'll be loving it too!
I received this story as an e-arc by NetGalley for my honest review.

This is the kickoff to the Big Bad Boss trilogy. The fiery dynamic between Brick Blackthroat, a brooding billionaire wolf shifter CEO, and Madison Evans, his fiercely intelligent human assistant, instantly captivated me. Their interactions are a thrilling mix of tension and attraction, making every page sizzle. Brick's struggle between his pack duties and his undeniable pull toward Madison adds complexity. Madison's determination, set against the backdrop of Wall Street's cutthroat world, is inspiring and relatable. The cliffhanger ending left me on edge, eagerly awaiting the next installment. This book is a must-read for fans of paranormal office romances filled with wit, steam, and a dash of supernatural intrigue.

It has been a while since I have read these two authors. I liked this story. Lots of steam and family drama. I will say I did not realize it’s a cliffhanger, I was disappointed in that. Looking forward to the next installment.

Big Bad Boss by Renee Rose and Less Savino is a book you can't put down! I was NOT very happy it left on a cliffhanger, but it does make me want to read the next book to find out what happens. I will be patiently waiting for that that happen!

Madison is a sassy, take no shit type of girl. She will not hold back her tongue, but she sure as hell will have her facts straight before she says anything. Brick is your typical alpha male, boss man. He can't keep any assistants because as soon as they speak he gets irritated and dismisses them. Well, that was until he met his match with Madison. They quickly hit it off or get on each other's nerves, depending on how you look at it. They become the perfect working duo and start making moves together. Madison quickly draws the attention of Brick, as he does the same for her. Their going back and forth was torture not only for them; but for the readers.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys an alpha male book but also a woman who makes him squirm a little bit with her sassy, take no shit attitude. As I continued to read the book, I did not want to put it down because I wanted to find out what happened next. I enjoyed this book and how it was written. I thought there were perfect twists in the book, and continued to keep you engaged to see what Madison and Brick were going to do. Thank you, Renee Rose and Less Savino, for allowing me to read your book and give my honest review. I look forward to reading the next book (I hope I don't have to wait too long) and others by you!

Nooooo, not an open ending. No closure. Face-palm. There was a panic moment when I noticed less than 30 pages to go and so much more to unravel. If the author had to make a cliffhanger, I’m glad the author chose to end it where they did.

Modern day- Wallstreet Billionaire Boss meets an alluring and sharp assistant. Madison is your clever, everyday girl, a recent graduate in need of a job. Can she rise to the challenge of a big bad boss, or is he more than just an alpha jerk? Brick, yes, you may need to not cringe over some of the names. He is the alpha boss who built an empire with his pack family. Pack? Yes, you have it correctly. He’s more than human, a wolf shifter, and the alpha (leader) of his family.

He is bound to live his life for others and not for himself. I think it makes him a bit cranky. With pressure within his family and the ever potential of rival shifter packs, he is left a little thin on emotional intelligence. Poor Madison is out of her depths, and I worry about what the future will hold.

I could not put this one down. Highly sensual and charged dynamic duo. I will warily wait for the next installment.

First things first: This book ends with a cliff hanger and after getting over that frustration, it leaves you wanting to hurry up the authors to publish the next one, and the one after that in this Werewolves of Wall Street trilogy.

Brick, the lead male, is the stereotypical billionaire a-hole, going through assistants quicker than he changes his underwear - well, that's until Madison comes along and puts him in his place. She's bright, sassy and knows what she wants - enough money to pay her brother's tuition fees and to do some under cover research.

Big Bad Boss: Midnight is an amazingly well written and captivating shifter story mixing hotness and business; a shame it ended with a cliffhanger. It's publishing tomorrow 29 February 2024.
