I wholeheartedly enjoyed this audiobook and I look forward to reading more from Laura Piper Lee. Hannah is a relatable millenial woman, just trying to survive in a world that left her with hurt and trauma. This is so much more than a romance novel. It has heart, wit, and heat!

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC of this audiobook. I gave this book my best effort but I just can’t get into it. I stopped at 40%

If you're in the early pages of this book and thinking - this guy is absolutely terrible and I cannot watch his redemption arc, don't worry, keep reading. I found Hannah Tate to be super relatable, honest, and fun. As someone living in Appalachia, I adored Hannah's family and the small town vibes.
If you're looking for vulnerability, realistic whimsy, and laugh out loud funny dialogue, this is the perfect rom com for you!

I loved this one! Hannah Tate is a new mom, and she’s in a relationship with the father of her child. She finds an engagement ring and panics but in a good way. She and her partner go to dinner and instead of proposing, he breaks up with her. Hannah goes home to her mom and finds herself crushing on the neighbor and working on an AirBnB that her parents want to use to make some extra money.
Things I loved:
Hannah - she was so funny and sweet and endearing. I giggled a lot at her antics and her inner monologue. She was fantastic.
BFFs were A+.
River 😮💨😮💨😮💨
Little Bowie. 😭😭
The friendship Killian and Hannah work through.
Hannah’s family. Loved that they insisted on being called Big Daddy and Gma. *crying*
I loved this whole book. Third act breakup made sense - they grew- and that part at the North Pole/train!!! So good. Hannah’s reaction to River catching Madison cracked me up.
Loved the ending!!!!!
I preordered and am so happy I did. This was great.
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an audio ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was such an enjoyable book that I binged it in a day. I expected a simple romance, but I was pleasantly surprised by the layers in this story.
The author did a great job with character development and creating dynamics that so many people can relate with. This book highlights separation, co-parenting, listening to your own voice, finding your own path, and forgiveness.
I found Hannah so genuine as a person and admirable for making lemons from lemonade. The love for her son was so touching to me and reminded me of my own experiences as a new mom, just trying to figure it all out. I also fell in love with Hannah’s mom, and her stepdad Daryl was my favorite character of all.
This book made me laugh in high moments and cry when things got intense. It had a decent amount of spice, but the spice never overshadowed the connection between the love interests, which I greatly appreciated.
I'm looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Thank you NetGalley for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Really enjoyable romcom. I loved the bit of a love triangle and the chemistry between the main characters. The side characters were good too.
Great narration that kept me pulled in to the story.

I hate to say that all of the post partum is giving me distress, but it is. I think with the cover and synopsis, I expected more HGTV shenanigans and less new mommy emotions. I'd probably like this better had those expectations been such.
Hannah expects a ring and gets dumped instead. She goes to reinvent the will, as it were, by moving back in temporarily with her mother and stepfather, who are hot messes themselves. With the help of an off-the-grid handyman, Hannah hopes to turn around the fortunes of her parents and life for herself and son.
I absolutely got as far in due to the lovely vocals of Kelli Tager. She's a good narrator for the genre and easy to listen to.
Thank you to Dreamscape Media for the alc. All thoughts are my own.

Hannah Tate, Beyond Repair follows Hannah in a state of disaster after having a baby and finding out her boyfriend no longer wants to be with her. As Hannah grows as a person she finds her way, her family and her passion. Hannah Tate is a quick listen, has likable characters and has good personal growth.
3.5 Stars.

3.5⭐️ This small town rom com is about a single mom, who’s whole life has fallen apart, trying to put the pieces back together. It was such a fun story to follow and I loved going along the journey with Hannah as she figures out how to get out of bad circumstances and create the life she deserves. The romance was great and I thought it was so interesting the way it all panned out. If you love a small town vibe with found family, single mom, and overcoming obstacles tropes, this one’s for you.

Hannah is a bit of a mess. After a breakup with her boyfriend of three years and father to her child, she is forced to move back home. There, she decides to renovate her parent’s cabin in hopes of making it a vacation property rental. She hires the hot carpenter next door who is the first person in a long time that doesn’t look at her like she’s a mess.
This was a laugh out loud and sweet romance. I loved that our main character was more than just a mom and was able to discover that just because her life wasn’t going to be how she always imagined it, didn’t mean it wasn’t perfect. The audiobook was particularly great - especially with delivering the funny moments.
Read this book if you like:
-small town vibes
-falling in love again
-Tarzan MMC???
-sweet southern setting

Special thanks to Dreamscape Media for sharing a free copy with me in exchange for my honest opinions.

If you read this looking for a romance, you will be greatly disappointed. In my opinion, this should not be marketed as romance- as the romance is basically non-existent. It fits much better with general fiction, as it is really about a personal growth journey.
Hannah Tate has a new baby. She thinks her boyfriend of three years is going to propose, but instead, he dumps her. This happens the day after she was fired for refusing to work while on maternity leave. She packs her things and heads to her parents' cabin in the mountains to regroup.
I never care for romances when one of the characters start off with a person and immediately couple up with someone else. I like them even less when the Hero is a shadow. You never get to know River. Other than he is a hot carpenter that lives in a treehouse, you know very little about him. There are few interactions with him- far more with her ex, Killian.
Then there is Hannah- she is a hypocrite and kind of entitled. She refuses to see other sides. It is annoying.
Also, twice it is mentioned when Hannah is drinking in a public setting that alcohol does not get into breastmilk. That is absolutely false and I seriously hope someone think it is OK to drink because they read it in a fictional book.
If you choose to read, just make sure your expectations are directed properly. Don't expect a romance.
Kelli Tager narrates the audiobook. No complaints.

Okay. Bare with me here - read the whole thing pretty please. The first 25% was rough for me. Keep in mind, this is done lightheartedly, is funny, and I have a low threshold of annoyance when new moms aren’t supported. Hannah is a new mom of a 3 month old baby boy. Her partner, baby’s dad, is a terrible partner and dad. Hannah puts effort into being the baby’s sole caregiver and what she thinks her partner wants. She thinks the partner is going to propose and, well. He dumps her instead while asking her to continue their platonic status while living together. My empathy for Hannah was pretty strong and if their romantic relationship had lasted much longer I may have needed to ditch the story.
Thank goodness it didn’t! The last 75% made the cringe I felt before worth it. Hannah finds her voice, ditches baby daddy, and moves into extra space her mom and step dad have that’s in need of remodeling to be an air b&b. Her family comes to be so stinking charming. Her friends are perfection. And her soon to be lover is dreamy.
Now. This narrator. They. Are. Gold. Simply the best 1 person narration I’ve heard, possibly ever. They were so dynamic and multidimensional. I’d recommend this book just for them any day. Absolutely phenomenal. Well done!!

Unfortunately, this audiobook literally pour me to sleep. I was not engaged in the story at times because it was so focused on babies and motherhood - not at all what I expected from the description.

I assumed this was going to be a fun little rom-com
Though it does have it's moments, it's more than that.
It's about that it's not always easy finding yourself, there will be high and lows to it.
The journey and the struggle it took to get to that point.
I loved every moment of this book. The narrator did a wonderful job as well!
I really enjoyed how flawed all the characters were and seeing how each one came to a resolution before end of the book. It was cool to see the character growth.

Hannah Tate has just had a baby with boyfriend Killian
She's feeling very mombie- ish and neglected. When she finds an engagement ring in Killian's stinky boot. She gets excited for them to be a real family. Her boyfriend is a tool instead of proposing marriage he proposes co-parenting with Hannah paying rent. Instead Hannah moves in with her parents. To help fix up an extra cabin to rent through Airbnb.
This reads more women's fiction than romance. I enjoyed the audiobook. The narrator did a good job voicing all the characters. This book is well written. I cried at the heartfelt parts. Overall, a heartwarming read.

Get you a man who lives in a tree house, builds you whatever you wants AND is an ally… iconic. Hannah is a great mother and a beyond relatable person / new mother.

3.5 ⭐️ rounded down.
Hannah Tate is a single mother desperate not to make the same mistakes her mother did. She wants a solid relationship and a stable family life but unfortunately, her boyfriend isn’t on the same page.
This novel is a lot about Hannah’s journey and less about romance, and that’s okay. I would have liked more opportunities for Hannah and her mom to discuss their past, and for Hannah’s situation not to devolve into some madcap antics, but overall it was a fun read with great character arcs. I also loved the positive way working/motherhood was portrayed.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator had some great comedic timing. An easy listen.
Thank you, NetGalley, for the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

I love how the author has penned down the new mama's journey overcoming her breakup with the father of the baby and trying to be happy and satisfied with her life. The characters are so lively and best were the friends and the protagonist herself!
Plus the single POV was best for the highlighting the development of the protagonist in the book.

Perfection!!! I loved everything about this one. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was amazing, different voices for each character, emotions showing through her voice, she’s very talented! The book itself was everything I hoped for. It was beautifully written and had it all. I highly recommend this one! ,
