The Next Mrs. Parrish was a twisty thriller told from the viewpoints of Daphne (Mrs. Parrish #1), Amber (Mrs. Parrish #2), and Daisy Ann. At first, I couldn't understand the connection between all 3 of the women. And I have to admit that the first part of the book was a little slow and confusing. There were a lot of secondary characters to keep track of. But towards the middle of the book, the story really started heating up and I couldn't put it down. Definitely a memorable sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish!

I loved every bit of this page turning sequel! Daisy Ann is back in this book and wants to get revenge on Amber. Jackson has his hooks back in Daphne and is determined to get his family back together. Amber decides she needs revenge on Daisy Ann. Every character was so calculating and devious. It was the ultimate bad guys vs. good guys show down. I couldn’t stop frantically turning pages. Every time you thought someone had the upper hand, another twist popped up. I’m so thankful to NetGalley for my advanced copy and I urge everyone to go read The Next Mrs. Parrish and The First Shot so they are ready for this amazing sequel.

Thank you to Netgalley for the free ARC.
LOVED getting to catch up with the Parrish family in book #2. So many twists and turns it will make your head spin.

If you haven’t read the last Mrs. Parrish, I highly recommend reading that book before starting this one. Overall i really enjoy this book and all of the twist! I could never guess what was coming next!

This book is the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. It was fun to read about these characters again and the book picks up where the last left off. I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish and was really looking forward to reading the sequel but I almost wish this book was a standalone book. I think new characters would have brought in a fun storyline as I don’t think these characters had much more to contribute to the story overall. I really enjoyed the twists and some unexpected turns throughout!

I didn’t think this book needed a sequel, but I was proven wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed it! I will be there along for the next one if there is anothwe

The Next Mrs. Parrish - Liv Constantine
High expectations for this long awaited sequel…
The ongoing struggle between Daphne and Amber, with Mr Jackson Parrish soon to be released from prison. Bitter rivalries, jealousies, child custody issues and lots of money.
There’s a ghost from Amber’s past out for revenge too. There’s a lot going on in the plot it felt more like a Dynasty-esque money and power saga rather than a thriller for lots of the book.
I missed the threat and tension of the first book, but I suppose it could be entertaining if you like this kind of novel.

Wow. This book had me on the edge of my seat, though I felt tense with emotions a lot of the time. I literally could not put this one down. I had to see how it would end!
In this sequel to “The Last Mrs. Parrish,” Amber is as conniving and corrupt as in the previous books. I loved the twist of bringing in the character of Daisy Ann, the daughter of Amber’s former husband who you might remember from, “The First Shot.”
I personally loved continuing to see Daphne’s point of view. Her strength and resilience as a mother take on a whole new meaning as she does whatever it takes to protect her daughters and herself from Jackson Parrish, the former husband of Daphne and Amber who is never not scheming and manipulating. I have never hated a character more than Jackson Parrish. The anticipation of seeing his downfall kept me glued to this book until the very end.
This book absolutely did not disappoint! I enjoyed the ride.

Exactly what you would expect from Liv Constantine.
It's an intelligent, cat & mouse-esque mystery with all of the drama you could imagine.
I would recommend this one to ANY of my thriller/psychological thriller readers.

As Amber Patterson Parrish's meticulously crafted socialite facade begins to crumble with her husband's impending release from prison, she finds herself entangled once again with her former sister-in-law, Daphne Parrish. Despite their shared history of deceit and betrayal, they must join forces when a vengeful figure from Amber's past resurfaces, threatening everything they hold dear. In this gripping sequel to "The Last Mrs. Parrish," alliances are forged, secrets unravel, and the lines between predator and prey blur in a high-stakes game of survival. With electrifying twists and compelling characters, "The Next Mrs. Parrish" will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the very last page.

4.5! Thank you NetGalley for the early release copy! Twists and turns until the VERY LAST LINE!! Definitely kept me hooked and wanting to read more. Absolutely love their style of writing.

When I got approved to read an ARC of this book, I quickly read the prequel novella and the original novel. While I greatly enjoyed the original novel, this one wasn't as wonderful, in my opinion. It was an interesting read, but there was SO MUCH HAPPENING. TOO much if that's possible. Between Amber, Jackson, and Daisy Ann, I had to question if there was even a sane/smart person among them, and I'm not sure I cared about what happened to any of them (other than Daphne and her girls). 3 - 3.5 stars.

I absolutely loved "The Last Mrs Parrish" by Liv Constantine so I was absolutely thrilled to receive an ARC of "The Next Mrs. Parrish." This book is break neck speed with one incident happening after another. At times you are jumping between two different story lines and it can feel a little all over the place. Of course most of these characters you despise because of the stunts they pull but overall the book was good.

Honestly, I couldn’t put this book down! I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish, so it only makes sense. Do not read this without reading The Last Mrs. Parrish. You’ve been warned.
I found myself actually covering my mouth and gasping at some parts, and audibly sighing in relief at the end (sorry not sorry). These characters are cut-throat and I LOVED it.
I will say, I don’t understand the title choice given the ending, but that’s fine I suppose - it’s in line with the other Mrs. Parrish books.

4.5 stars and thank you to NetGalley for the ARC for this book.
This book continues where the fist story left off. Daphne is going back to Bishop harbor for the summer to have her girls visit their father. She is hoping he has changed since prison but is meet with disaster and finds her self caught in a dilemma ever worse then she ever imagined.
As someone who loved The Last Mrs. Parrish this was a perfect sequel. In this book you get to dive deeper into the characters and realize Amber is even more horrible and only out for her self. You are introduced to Daisy Ann a Dallas socialite who is intertwined into the lives of Amber and Jackson.
Would definitely recommend this book to anyone who liked the first book in this series.

The Last Mrs. Parrish is one of my favorite mystery/thriller books and this is the sequel that I was not even expecting. I loved this sequel; maybe not as much as the first book, but it is so good! There were the classic twists that I was not expecting, but I loved seeing the characters again. This wasn't a perfect 5 star book for me as it had some issues that I just couldn't work through, but it was a 4.5 star/rounding up to 5 on GR.
I don't want to give too much away with the synopsis of the book, but just make sure you read the first book before reading this one.
Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group, and the authors for this ARC of The Next Mrs. Parrish.

📖 ARC Review: The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
Sometimes, a sequel is released that is even better than the original book. This is not one of those times. Truthfully, the first story (which I enjoyed greatly) ended as such that it didn't really need a sequel. I found the characters to be annoying, whiny, repetitive, and bordering on stupid. Our protagonist, Daphne, successfully escaped an abusive relationship in the first installment. It makes zero sense that she would put herself (and her kids) back in a position of danger with her abuser. A new side-story is introduced with Daisy Ann (don't get me started on the annoying double name) who constantly refers to her deceased father as "Daddy". I just couldn't take her seriously as a fully grown woman and business owner. There's so much back stabbing that it just gets muddled and loses impact. The only character who isn't irritating is the two-year-old baby with zero lines. I really wanted to love this book. It just didn't hit the mark.

Were you like me and one of the many, many people who devoured The Last Mrs. Parrish back in 2017? I remember loving it, so I was THRILLED to receive a copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish aka the return of the devious Amber and Jackson.
This book also did not disappoint. I found myself right back on Daphne's side and hoping that Amber and Jackson would get what was coming to them. The authors behind Liv Constantine did a really great job of revealing everything in a way that made the book impossible to put down. I will say that there were some parts that I questioned if they would truly happen, but overall they did not take away from the plot for me.

While nothing will ever compete with the The Last Mrs. Parrish (do yourself a favor and definitely read that first!), this is a very engaging and entertaining follow-up. The scheming of Amber, Daphne, and Jackson is on another level this book and a new character named Daisy Ann provides a more complex level of surprises. This is an easy but highly enjoyable sequel to the Last Mrs. Parrish.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC!

I was fortunate enough to win an ARC of “The Next Mrs. Parrish” by Liv Constantine - sequel to “The Last Mrs. Parrish.” A wild ride indeed! I was fully invested - even wanting to throw my book across the room at various points in the story. But my confidence in the author, which propelled me onward, was well-placed! My patience was rewarded with a satisfying ending. Several loose ends from “The Last Mrs. Parrish” and its prequel, “The First Shot,” are tied up nicely in “The Next Mrs. Parrish.” The only (minor) flaw is…I think the author spends a little too much time at the beginning reminding the reader about the story from the previous book. Still, I would rate it at 4.5 stars!
“The Next Mrs. Parrish” will be released on June 18, 2024.
