Going into reading The Next Mrs. Parrish I was sooooo excited because I really enjoyed the first novel but I was also dreading this because Amber drives me absolutely insane and I was not looking forward to any of her successes.

This novel picks up months after its predecessor, as Jackson is about to be released from jail. You follow the POV’s of 3 women: Daphne, Amber, and newcomer Daisy Ann. Amber’s POV is unbearably insufferable to me which means the duo behind authors Liv Constantine have written so brilliantly that they’ve made me loath a fictional character (again). I loved Daisy Ann’s absolute no-nonsense journey to take down her enemy. She was fun to read.

At about 50% I almost wanted to quit reading because of Amber but if I’ve learned anything from the last book it’s that Liv Constantine know how to give you a satisfying conclusion and OMG did they deliver! The ending was brutal and wild and beyond satisfying!

Thank you to NetGalley, Liv Constantine, and Random House/Ballantine for the opportunity to read this ARC before it’s intended release date of June 18, 2024. I imagine this will be one of the hottest reads of the summer!

I nearly screamed when I got an ARC of this latest Mrs. Parrish book!

Two of the most heinous characters I've loved to read are back in the sequel and it's juicier than ever! Told through three perspectives, there are more twists and turns than a rollercoaster at your local amusement park :)

Add this to your list for sure!

LOVED!

Amber Parrish continues to work on her social standing and lifestyle while her husband, Jackson, serves his time at the correctional facility. He is to be released soon and Amber is planning how she is going to get all she can from him and start a new life somewhere else. Her plans shift when she has a run-in with her former husband’s daughter, Daisy Ann. Daisy Ann knows in her heart that Amber was responsible for her father’s death during a hunting “accident”. She feels that fate has brought Amber back into her life so she has another chance to get justice for her father.

Daphne and her two daughters have started their life in California, far away from Jackson in hopes to never cross his path again. Jackson has other plans and has got his own ideas of how he is going to win Daphne and his daughters back. Claiming he is a changed man after his time in prison, Daphne is not fooled but their oldest daughter, Tallulah, is desperate to have her father back in her life.

All three of them end up tangled up again with even more scheming, lies, threats and deceit. How far will Daphne go to make sure her children don’t suffer too much childhood trauma with their father not being a part of their lives? How far will Amber go to ensure she will have all she has ever wanted and will Daisy Ann achieve the justice for her father she has been wanting since his death.

Wonderfully written from three different perspectives (Amber, Daphne & Daisy Ann).
This definitely needs to be on your pre order list ASAP!

I appreciate the ARC of this book. While I enjoyed the first book, this book leaves a lot to be desired. There was a lot of rambling. The characters were very stereotypical. The teenager were brats, the southerners TOO southern, midwesterners were so “small town”. I was not not impressed at all and had to force my way through while rolling my eyes a lot.

The anticipation for this book did not disappoint!
Daphne married the love of her life, Jackson! With 2 beautiful girls & a destroyed marriage, Daphne has to find a way to protect her 2 daughters who don't see the danger they are in.

Daisy Ann is a wealthy jewelry designed trying to protect her company and get justice for her father's murder.

Who can be trusted and who will come after you when you least expect it?

I’m not really sure this needed to be a sequel. I was struggling with the first 50% of the book. I enjoyed gettting daisy ann point of view but I was having a very hard time staying invested in this book.

Thanks NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!

The way I shrieked and gasped when I got this eARC from NetGalley compares to the way I gasped multiple times while reading this. 5 stars. Perfect ending to the stories created… I highly recommend reading the prequel before this one! Amazing!

I really enjoyed seeing characters from the first book and the prequel novella. I was at the edge of my seat the last 100 pages!! Holy twists and turns. Impeccable storytelling combined with it being fast paced made this book a 5 star for me.

Thank you NetGalley, the publisher, and author for the advanced copy. I was very excited to start reading.
This book picks right where it left with Daphne and Amber. It was full of the same great twists and interest as the original. Maybe a sequel was not totally necessary bit it was still every bit enjoyable. At times it felt a bit slower, but overall would recommend.
If you liked the Last Mrs. Parrish, it is worth the read.

I loved the first book "The last Mrs. Parrish" and went in with high hopes for the sequel, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. I struggled through the first 50% of the book. I did enjoy Daisy Ann's POV and the backstory of Amber. Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced copy.

Good lord, this book was STRESSFUL.

The Next Mrs. Parrish follows Daphne, Amber, and Jackson months after the ending of The Last Mrs. Parrish. We also follow Daisy Ann who’s coming for revenge from Amber (you really should read the prequel The Last Shot to understand that whole plot).

I’ll be honest, I really don’t think a sequel was necessary. It felt like a lot of the same old manipulative sociopathic behavior from Jackson and Amber. A lot of the dialogue was cheesy and over the top.

I did like Daisy Ann’s POV. It added something different and new to the series. The ending was super satisfying and made the book worth reading.

Thank you to NetGalley for my ARC!

Dare I say I typically despise sequels? After thoroughly enjoying this writing duo’s big hit “The Last Mrs. Parrish,” I couldn’t wait to see if this sequel could possibly compete with the first. I was thrilled to quickly fall back into the minds of the characters I love and the characters I love to hate! The multiple narrators and short chapters made for a quick read and the twists kept it fun and thrilling. And boy was that ending satisfying…make sure to grab your copy on release day!

Thanks to Bantam and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC copy in return for my honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance review copy in return for an honest review. I was really excited for this book but it seemed like it was written in a rush. I couldn’t really even get into it until halfway through.

This book will stick with you and have you in a book hangover for days! Liv Constantine weaves an amazing tale that will have you binge reading this book.

The characters from The First Shot and The Last Mrs Parish are out for revenge. There is a battle between good and evil…the ending will blow your mind.

There were several times I was sooo frustrated with Daphne but as a mom I kind of get why she made the decisions she did. Amber continues to be over the top psycho and you will want to throw your kindle. Jackson is just a discusting human that will make your blood boil.

This is a fantastic read that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end.

Thank you Random House Publishing Group, NetGalley and Liv Constantine for the Advanced Readers Copy.

Liv! This sequel was rare that it was as good as the first one. I do think you need the to the first one to get the full picture. The next Mrs Parish was an endlessly fascinating cat and mouse chase with a new character that really brings out the worst in our villain Amber. It’s told from the three womens POV and just like the first one is incredibly twisty and you had to keep up! Start to finish I was in for the ride. Highly recommend pre ordering and read the last Mrs parish in the meantime! I love Liv for this continued journey and NetGalley for giving me a preview.

If you liked the first book, you will like this one, too. Lots of twists but easy to follow. Would definitely recommend.

This was such a good book! I loved the characters, and their story. The dialogue was realistic and enjoyable. I was very surprised by the ending!

I was very excited to be able to get this arc! I loved the last Mrs Parrish and happy to see the story continued.
Amber and Jackson have been falling apart and they try to “team up” to benefit each other. Amber has been talking to Tallulah and feeding her lies to the point Tallulah is trying to sneak to Connecticut to see Jackson. Daphne believes Tallulah will hate her if she doesn’t let them see her dad once he is realesed from prison.

Once back in bishops harbor, Jackson tries to win Daphne back. However Daphne has learned her lesson and is a much stronger person than she use to be. Jackson continues trying to get the 4 of them back together.

Amber continues to be deceitful as always.

Hold you wine and be in for a ride with the deceitfulness and twists as the story of the Parrish’s continues.

Another stellar performance from the Constantine sisters. I applaud them for bringing back these ruthless, scheming characters for a sequel. At times I wanted to strangle the characters for their very poor decisions, but throughout I was highly entertained. The twists are abundant and the ending satisfying.

So thankful for getting the ARC. I don’t know what i was expecting in this book but it was not this. I don’t understand why Daphne couldn’t tell her daughters the truth about Jackson. I also think it’s idiotic that she would trust him with drinks. Also if Daphne would’ve recorded her phone calls with Jackson her problems could’ve been solved. If you read this book you should definitely read the prequel called The First Shot. I really dont think this book needed a sequel.
