Good lord, this book was STRESSFUL.
The Next Mrs. Parrish follows Daphne, Amber, and Jackson months after the ending of The Last Mrs. Parrish. We also follow Daisy Ann who’s coming for revenge from Amber (you really should read the prequel The Last Shot to understand that whole plot).
I’ll be honest, I really don’t think a sequel was necessary. It felt like a lot of the same old manipulative sociopathic behavior from Jackson and Amber. A lot of the dialogue was cheesy and over the top.
I did like Daisy Ann’s POV. It added something different and new to the series. The ending was super satisfying and made the book worth reading.
Thank you to NetGalley for my ARC!

Dare I say I typically despise sequels? After thoroughly enjoying this writing duo’s big hit “The Last Mrs. Parrish,” I couldn’t wait to see if this sequel could possibly compete with the first. I was thrilled to quickly fall back into the minds of the characters I love and the characters I love to hate! The multiple narrators and short chapters made for a quick read and the twists kept it fun and thrilling. And boy was that ending satisfying…make sure to grab your copy on release day!

Thanks to Bantam and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC copy in return for my honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance review copy in return for an honest review. I was really excited for this book but it seemed like it was written in a rush. I couldn’t really even get into it until halfway through.

This book will stick with you and have you in a book hangover for days! Liv Constantine weaves an amazing tale that will have you binge reading this book.
The characters from The First Shot and The Last Mrs Parish are out for revenge. There is a battle between good and evil…the ending will blow your mind.
There were several times I was sooo frustrated with Daphne but as a mom I kind of get why she made the decisions she did. Amber continues to be over the top psycho and you will want to throw your kindle. Jackson is just a discusting human that will make your blood boil.
This is a fantastic read that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end.
Thank you Random House Publishing Group, NetGalley and Liv Constantine for the Advanced Readers Copy.

Liv! This sequel was rare that it was as good as the first one. I do think you need the to the first one to get the full picture. The next Mrs Parish was an endlessly fascinating cat and mouse chase with a new character that really brings out the worst in our villain Amber. It’s told from the three womens POV and just like the first one is incredibly twisty and you had to keep up! Start to finish I was in for the ride. Highly recommend pre ordering and read the last Mrs parish in the meantime! I love Liv for this continued journey and NetGalley for giving me a preview.

If you liked the first book, you will like this one, too. Lots of twists but easy to follow. Would definitely recommend.

This was such a good book! I loved the characters, and their story. The dialogue was realistic and enjoyable. I was very surprised by the ending!

I was very excited to be able to get this arc! I loved the last Mrs Parrish and happy to see the story continued.
Amber and Jackson have been falling apart and they try to “team up” to benefit each other. Amber has been talking to Tallulah and feeding her lies to the point Tallulah is trying to sneak to Connecticut to see Jackson. Daphne believes Tallulah will hate her if she doesn’t let them see her dad once he is realesed from prison.
Once back in bishops harbor, Jackson tries to win Daphne back. However Daphne has learned her lesson and is a much stronger person than she use to be. Jackson continues trying to get the 4 of them back together.
Amber continues to be deceitful as always.
Hold you wine and be in for a ride with the deceitfulness and twists as the story of the Parrish’s continues.

Another stellar performance from the Constantine sisters. I applaud them for bringing back these ruthless, scheming characters for a sequel. At times I wanted to strangle the characters for their very poor decisions, but throughout I was highly entertained. The twists are abundant and the ending satisfying.

So thankful for getting the ARC. I don’t know what i was expecting in this book but it was not this. I don’t understand why Daphne couldn’t tell her daughters the truth about Jackson. I also think it’s idiotic that she would trust him with drinks. Also if Daphne would’ve recorded her phone calls with Jackson her problems could’ve been solved. If you read this book you should definitely read the prequel called The First Shot. I really dont think this book needed a sequel.

Picks up right where "The Last Mrs. Parrish" left off by following Amber and Daphne as well as a new character, Daisy Anne. While nothing compares to the original book, I was excited reading this book to see what the twists would be and was pleasantly surprised by how everything came together at the end. Definitely a satisfying way to end the series!
I highly recommend reading the prequel, "The Last Shot" before reading this as it'll provide all the background on why Daisy Anne is involved. You'll definitely put everything together without reading the prequel but I would recommend it since its a short read.

3.75 stars.
This is the second book of a series by Liv Constantine. Jackson, Daphne and Amber are back and up to absolutely no good.
I love these stories, reading about billionaires doing shady things is interesting to me. These characters are hard to care about.
This book starts where the first book ended. Daphne is trying to get her life with her mother and kids back in order. But we all knew the craziness wasn’t over. We see Daphne struggle with her kids missing Jackson, the possibility that he wasn’t done with his attempts are ruining her life.
I was surprised the turn this book made, lots of plot twists and Easter eggs in this book that leaves open the possibility for a third book? We can only hope.
I’m a fan of Liv Constantine’s writing, plot lines and characters. She has a way of sucking you into the story and keeping your interest. I know you can get away with a lot of things with the right price, but some of this was a bit unrealistic to me…and the middle did get a bit slow for me, but overall I really enjoyed it!
Thank you to NetGalley for the early access! Always thankful!

I enjoyed "The Last Mrs. Parrish" greatly, along with all the rest of author duo Liv Constantine's other titles, so I was really thrilled to get an advance copy of "The Next Mrs. Parrish" to read & review. And I was pretty well satisfied with this sequel (which would also work as a stand-alone), and while I don't think it had quite the punch of the first, I was happy enough with the twists and more of Amber, Jackson, Daphne & company behaving badly and while I am still not quite sure that a sequel was really necessary, I was pretty invested in this novel & really enjoyed the ending. My sincere thanks to Net Galley & the publisher for the complimentary DRC - my pleasure to review this title.

Thanks for this advance copy. I loved this book! I just read it in a day, so it's so good. If you are looking for a book to inmerse you as much as you forget about the outside world, this is it!

The Last Mrs. Parrish sent me..., but this one pushed me over the edge!!! I loved the first book but this one was extremely captivating. I was hopeful that it wasn't too focused on the first book but this had its own twists to it and perfectly connected the two and what was to come following the first book!

4.5 ⭐️ I was super happy to see Liv had a sequel to The Last Mrs Parrish!!! I would definitely reread the first book again if you want to have the history, otherwise this is fine as a standalone too.
Daphne and Jackson are back. The twists and turns did not disappoint! At times I was gasping audibly about what was going on! The only reason it isn’t 5 stars for me was that I think the ending could have been just a bit different.
You won’t want to miss this book.

This book was so good! I loved seeing how things unfolded with the old characters and meeting a new character, Daisy Ann. Loved how there were so many twists and turns and everything came together at the end, Perfect ending, great read, highly recommend!

Liv Constantine has done it AGAIN! I was anxious throughout the entire book! That’s when I know it’s a 5 star read. Daphne is back and is stronger and happier than ever. That is until Amber and Jackson return with their old tricks again. A new character, Daisy Ann, is introduced and contributes a lot to the story, especially the end. There were lots of twists and turns and while some were unrealistic ( I mean it’s a fictional psychological thriller—you can write whatever you want) it was still very entertaining! I was on edge for most of the book. I am very happy that the author strengthened Daphne’s character. I think It was important for readers to see that. Also the ending was wrapped up so well!

Ohhh I was so excited for the opportunity to read The Next Mrs. Parrish early. This was such a fun ride! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen next. There are several twists and turns and the characters are untrustworthy. The book is told from multiple POVs. Amber is just as nasty, cunning, and sarcastic as ever. I enjoyed learning more about her backstory. Jackson is currently serving time for tax fraud and will be entering the real world again in a few months. Daphne has created a new life for herself and her daughters in California. I absolutely love reading about all the drama, secrets and lies throughout the book.

The Last Mrs. Parrish was fantastically well written but I had a significant problem with the idea that anyone could deserve being a victim of domestic violence, even if they are an absolutely horrendous person. I took a chance on The Next Mrs. Parrish because I was hopeful that the authors would move past the previous book’s theme and create some real resolution and closure for the characters, especially Daphne.
This book infuriated me. It was well written, as always, but the plot centered around the abusive (ex)husband’s manipulation tactics and has all supporting characters falling for his good guy persona once again (despite the recent prison sentence). It was totally unbelievable and I just wanted to smack everyone involved. I’m glad everything kind of worked out at the end, but for a plot that seemed to have intricate planning for its twists… it certainly felt rushed and just smooshed together.
I’m not upset I read it but I wouldn’t read it again either. This was not the page turner it’s predecessor was.
