4.5 ⭐️ I was super happy to see Liv had a sequel to The Last Mrs Parrish!!! I would definitely reread the first book again if you want to have the history, otherwise this is fine as a standalone too.

Daphne and Jackson are back. The twists and turns did not disappoint! At times I was gasping audibly about what was going on! The only reason it isn’t 5 stars for me was that I think the ending could have been just a bit different.

You won’t want to miss this book.

This book was so good! I loved seeing how things unfolded with the old characters and meeting a new character, Daisy Ann. Loved how there were so many twists and turns and everything came together at the end, Perfect ending, great read, highly recommend!

Liv Constantine has done it AGAIN! I was anxious throughout the entire book! That’s when I know it’s a 5 star read. Daphne is back and is stronger and happier than ever. That is until Amber and Jackson return with their old tricks again. A new character, Daisy Ann, is introduced and contributes a lot to the story, especially the end. There were lots of twists and turns and while some were unrealistic ( I mean it’s a fictional psychological thriller—you can write whatever you want) it was still very entertaining! I was on edge for most of the book. I am very happy that the author strengthened Daphne’s character. I think It was important for readers to see that. Also the ending was wrapped up so well!

Ohhh I was so excited for the opportunity to read The Next Mrs. Parrish early. This was such a fun ride! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen next. There are several twists and turns and the characters are untrustworthy. The book is told from multiple POVs. Amber is just as nasty, cunning, and sarcastic as ever. I enjoyed learning more about her backstory. Jackson is currently serving time for tax fraud and will be entering the real world again in a few months. Daphne has created a new life for herself and her daughters in California. I absolutely love reading about all the drama, secrets and lies throughout the book.

The Last Mrs. Parrish was fantastically well written but I had a significant problem with the idea that anyone could deserve being a victim of domestic violence, even if they are an absolutely horrendous person. I took a chance on The Next Mrs. Parrish because I was hopeful that the authors would move past the previous book’s theme and create some real resolution and closure for the characters, especially Daphne.

This book infuriated me. It was well written, as always, but the plot centered around the abusive (ex)husband’s manipulation tactics and has all supporting characters falling for his good guy persona once again (despite the recent prison sentence). It was totally unbelievable and I just wanted to smack everyone involved. I’m glad everything kind of worked out at the end, but for a plot that seemed to have intricate planning for its twists… it certainly felt rushed and just smooshed together.

I’m not upset I read it but I wouldn’t read it again either. This was not the page turner it’s predecessor was.

I was so excited to see there was a sequel to one of my favorite books! I was even more excited when I got approved for the ARC! This sequel did not disappoint. I loved the addition of Daisy Ann she is quite the fierce woman who’s not to be messed with. Seeing the old characters get their justice was such a fun ride! If you loved the first book, along with the prequel, you’ll love this one too.

Loved getting to jump into the lives of these characters again as they battle it out. Amber, Jackson and daphne are back at it in this battle of whits. An entertaining read, if not a little dragged out.

I was a bit skeptical about reading this one because I liked the first book so much that was a little worried that it would tarnish that experience but I was pleasantly surprised when I actually really like this one. I enjoy seeing what happens to Amber and Jackson and Daphne and all the other characters. I like that add so much more drama and a bit more conniving and had a couple twist that I didn’t see coming. I think it ended perfectly let’s just say everyone got what they deserved.

The Next Mrs. Parrish was slow to start, then 40% through the book I was hooked. Couldn't put the book down. Many twists and the plot started to come together. Although I would rate this book highly and recommend to everyone, the title, "The Next Mrs. Parrish" is a bit misleading, especially after just reading The Last Mrs. Parrish.

This was a solid follow-up. I really enjoyed seeing the story continue. That being said, it did continue to get more and more unbelievable. And that’s fine for me! I just know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. I was happy with how the first book ended so this wasn’t necessary for me but still fun

Entertaining and unpredictable! With characters I despised and others liked and empathized with. Although this was not my typical read and a sequel to the last Mrs Parrish, which I haven’t read, I thoroughly enjoyed it. After the first few chapters it is a fast paced page turner! Highly recommend.

I was so thrilled to be approved for this! I dove right in, and unfortunately, this just did not live up to my expectations. I found it rather "cheesy" for lack of a better word due to the whole diamond plot. I hate to give this a low star review, but it only was a 3 star for me. I will continue to resort to Constantine's books when they release, but this one was just a disappointment for me.

I just finished reading The Next Mrs. Parrish, which is a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The Parrish family are uber-dysfunctional, and diving back into their crazy world was an experience in itself. Even though it has been a couple of years since I read the first novel, I was impressed by how the author, Liv Constantine, managed to refresh my memory organically within the book.

The Next Mrs. Parrish is packed with lies, deception, and drama, making it an unputdownable page-turner. The plot twists and turns were so cleverly crafted that I found myself on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what would happen next. I can confidently say that it's a 5+++ star novel that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a good psychological thriller. Overall, this book is a must-read for all thriller enthusiasts out there!

Thank you NetGalley for an advance copy of this long awaited sequel to one of my favorite thrillers. We are back with Amber and Daphne in a new set of circumstances. Daphne is finally happy, with her 2 children and living a calm life but unfortunately her children want to be with their Dad Jackson...who is just getting out of prison. Daphne is afraid to make contact...but knows for her kids she must. And in the meanwhile, Amber is just as awful and is looking to steal a large sum of money from Jackson and finally be free. Go live lavishly on her own. The cat and mouse between these 2 women goes from there. This felt very similar in the best way to the first book. These characters are almost all awful but you still root for them and its a page turner until the end!

I don't like reading a book where the initial characters start the book and are not relatable or likable. It sets a tone for the story and I find myself not going back to it because I don't care about them.

A fast paced book with twists, turns, emotional baggage and a mothers undying love woven into each page. The middle of the book was a bit slow but the last 100 pages gave way to a nice ending for all the characters.

The Next Mrs. Parrish picks up a couple of years after the last novel, The Last Mrs. Parrish. Daphne and Amber have kept their distance in the wake of Jackson serving time for tax evasion with Daphne raising her girls in California with her mom and trying to keep their relationship afloat since they do not understand why they can’t see or be with their father. They are soon brought back into each other’s lives and drama ensues. I loved the first novel, and this one was even better. Amber is just as horrible and duplicitous as before, if not more! What scandals await these ladies in Bishops Harbor and are there anymore secrets from Amber’s past that could possibly come out of the shadows? The shocking twists unfolds and I found myself binging as fast as humanly possible to find out what happens next. I gasped at the betrayals and secrets that came out. I hope this isn’t the last of hearing from all of these characters! This was a 5*read. Thank you, Random House Publishing Group and NetGalley for the E-Arc and the chance, to review it!

Once again, a story that hooked me from the start! I absolutely love their writing style - especially how we don't get bogged down with the minutiae of each character's everyday life. A satisfying ending was the cherry on top.

Much to Daphne’s dismay, Jackson and Amber are far from being out of her, and her daughters’, lives forever.

After Tallulah starts acting out, Daphne realizes that she had to go back to Bishops Harbor and see the one person she hoped never to see again.

Amber, on the other hand, is doing everything in her power to get out of her relationship with Jackson, while also trying to take down an enemy from her past.

If you want to know how our favorite (and least favorite) characters end up, this is a must read for you!

There are plenty of plot twists and jaw-dropping moments to keep you hooked throughout. Definitely worth reading, just like the rest of the Constantine sisters’ books.
