A great continuation from Mrs. Parrish. Love catching up with Daphne and Amber. The twist and turns are there from beginning to end. A satisfying ending and I sure would not mind reading another book with Daphne and Amber. Well done!

All the rave for this five star domestic thriller by Liv Constantine. I devoured the first novel, " The Last Mrs. Parrish" and loved prequel "The First Shot". To get an ARC of the sequel was not only a moment of jumping for excitement, but getting to revisit characters and all their schemes was the perfect excuse to pull an all night binge read-a-thon.
"The Next Mrs. Parrish" does not disappoint and will take you on a fast pace ride of messy drama, schemes, and twists. Be prepared to not want to put the book down while wanting to hurl it across the room because Amber is still vile. The ending is wild so buckle up!
Perfect for book clubs and though you can quickly pick up from the previous books, I would recommend giving a re-read to fully appreciate the drama and new twists.

I was jumping around like a kid on Christmas when I saw that I was approved for this. I LOVED The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv and this one was no different. I do recommend reading the prior books before reading a next in line so that you are caught up or refreshed. This book will be easier to understand if you read book 1. I love how Liv flawlessly writes her books and never lacks with the suspense, mystery along with twists and turns. You will not be able to set this book down. One for the year 2024!!!
Thank you so much to Random House, NetGalley and the author for allowing me the opportunity to read this eARC.

For fans of “The Last Mrs. Parrish”, you probably thought you’d never get immersed in the lives of Daphne, Amber and Jackson. But alas, the time has come to continue the disturbing story of a woman trying to escape an abusive marriage, a disturbed, narcissistic, sociopathic woman moving in on that marriage in hopes of becoming a wealthy socialite and a man who is equally as terrible and controlling.
•••
The Next Mrs. Parrish introduces a new character, Daisy Ann, who is somehow intertwined in the lies told by Amber and determined to bring her to down.

Although this really wasn’t the book for me, I think those who enjoyed the first book will also enjoy this one.
Thank you @netgalley for providing an advanced copy of this long awaited sequel!

4/5 Star Thriller
I was kind of shocked to see their was a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, because it felt like we got a very final ending to that book. But I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I can’t add much to the actual plot without giving big spoilers. But we get the next chapter of Amber and Daphne’s lives and it was so good! For me, the big reason the first book was so good was the massive twist midway through where the POV switched to Daphne. While this didn't have quite as big of a shock factor, I still thought it was a fast-paced and overall really great thriller. While I do think the first book was better, I still really loved this one and thought it was a great addition to the story. If you enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish this is definitely worth reading.

Thank you to Netgallery for the ARC of the sequel for one or my most favorite books and authors. I was so excited to read this and couldn’t believe I actually got accepted to read The Next Mrs. Parrish. Unfortunately this missed the mark for me. It didn’t feel like the first book almost as if it was written by someone other than the lovely authors. I immediately didn’t like that Daphne felt like she had to keep Jackson’s discretions from her daughter so much so that she would get back in touch with the man who terrorized her. So much about this didn’t work for me and felt juvenile. Amber and the diamonds it all just didn’t work for me. The story felt jumbled and a bit cheesy. I honestly could have done without the sequel as it just wasn’t as well done for me as the original. This should in no way disuade you from reading other Liv Constantine books as I have thoroughly enjoyed the others.

I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish and was so excited to see that Amber and Daphne would be thrusted back into each other’s lives in The Next Mrs. Parrish.
This sequel was thrilling, fast paced and just fabulous! It was such a great continuation of their story. I could not put it down! I highly recommend it when it comes out in June!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this advanced e-copy!!

Daphne and Amber Parrish are thrust back into one another's lives upon the resurgence of a long-forgotten threat, forcing a vicious game of cat and mouse where everything is on the line, in this thrilling sequel to the million-copy-bestselling Reese's Book Club Pick .
This book was a good quick read. The narcissistic character is well written. I enjoyed reading and loved the ending! Without giving too much away!

A story of good guys and bad guys - actually good women and a bad man and an evil woman. Love, revenge, and double-crossings make for a fine fast ready.

Jackson and Amber are the epitome of sociopathic behavior without any qualms of the results of their actions nor emotional attachment to others. They only care about one person and that is themselves. It is simply unfathomable how Amber was able to walk away from children, set others up for imprisonment and what occurred between her and Daisy Ann's father. Her ruthlessness had no bounds. Jackson in his treatment of Daphne truly believed that in his emotionally depraved state that he was doing what wad best for her and their family. It was evident that he thought he was a great father. I was so glad to see how Daisy Ann and Daphne bonded in a motherly capacity. The red tinted glasses at the end when Amber opened the door was a great last farewell. A captivating book and I certainly would read it again.

Loved the first one & loved this as well! Well done, & just as good as the first book. Definitely recommend reading the first book before this one

I was super excited to read this sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, which I read a couple years ago and LOVED! Unfortunately, The Next Mrs. Parrish didn't quite have the same impact on me. There was a lot of showing vs. telling, especially in the first half of the book. It felt like the authors were trying to summarize the entire plot of the first book instead of assuming readers of this book would be familiar with it, which slowed the pacing way down. Then it was just one unrealistic scenario after another, starting with Daphne choosing to return to where Jackson lived. It was hard to feel sympathy or care about the characters in the same way as I did in the first book because they kept making ridiculous choices. I couldn't get into this book, which I was super bummed about! The ending sort of leaves the door open for a book 3 but I think it's time to put the Parrish family to bed and move on.
Thanks to NetGalley and Bantam for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for this eARC in exchange for my honest review.
If you’ve read The Last Mrs. Parrish then you know how crazy, manipulative, and delulu (is what all the kids are calling it these days) Amber and Jackson are. They are truly disgusting characters that I love to hate. Well, Liv Constantine did not disappoint or slow these characters down in The Next Mrs. Parrish. The sequel is fast paced and just as intense. I love how good hearted Daisy Ann and Meredith are as supporting characters. I enjoyed the plot but will say this is definitely a character driven book. I also loved how the author gave closure and closed the story with a pretty little bow.

I couldn’t put this book down. Told from the perspectives of Daphne, Amber & Daisy Ann you get a fantastic mix of good versus evil. The plot moves along quickly, and the twists don’t stop coming. I have to say personally I didn’t see a bunch of the twists coming, but they were so enjoyable.. I also absolutely loved the ending. Amber & Jackson remain to be absolutely terrible human beings and the hate for them builds and builds with this story.
My recommendation for anyone wanting to read this sequel is to definitely read the prequel to the first book, the quick novella, “The First Shot”. It’s where Daisy Ann and her story line become introduced and help it to make sense!
Thank you Net Galley for an ARC of this book.

What an interesting return to the characters we know and love (and loathe) from TLMP. The addition of the third storyline in this sequel is a bright spot and often serves as a welcome reprieve from the antics and anguish of the original players. Glad to have stepped back into their world and wrapped all the drama into a satisfying bow.

The sisters have done it again! If you have read the first two novels in this series then you will absolutely adore this story. A few times my mouth fell open from the plot twists. It brings every single storyline that you could think of to a close. It was the perfect mix of both stories coming together. I would highly recommend this to everyone I know.

The ending deserves a round of applause. It was very satisfying!
I think this book was better than the first one. I struggled with The Last Mrs. Parrish but I flew thru this one.
What made it better? Prison, karma, revenge, all of the things that make a twisty thriller great!
I also felt way more connected to the characters. As expected - I was cheering Daphne on. Amber is her same old self rubbish, a slug, an awful human. Jackson well he is a sociopath.
I love how the author ties it all up at the end in a nice little box. I picture it with a bow. 🎁

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, and the author Liv Constantine, for the advanced copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish.
I cannot even convey how incredibly excited I was to not only know this long-awaited sequel was going to be published but also to be chosen to read it early.....best gift!!!
I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish, so much that once I started I HAD to know what would happen. I devoured this continuation just as quickly! Once I saw Jackson, Amber, Daphne, and newcomer Daisy Ann, it was as if I was reunited with long-lost friends. My excitement continued throughout the book as the situation became more complex and I was sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation. How will we get out of this one!!!
If you loved the first book, you NEED to pick this up! Clear your schedule because you won't be able to put it down!!!
I highly recommend this book, for the character development and growth! The chapters are quickly paced so you have to fly through the pages. Excellent follow-up!!!!

Ahhh the Parrish family! Like coming back to old friends. This time Daphne and her girls are safe and sound in California. Tallulah is angry at her Mom and longs for a relationship with her father. Daphne is somehow convinced to go back to Bishops Harbor for the summer. Jackson is set to get out of prison and Amber his wife is set to get out of dodge while scheming to get money to disappear and live her best life. Jackson wants to trick Daphne into coming back to him. Daphne is tricked into allegations of her being an unfit mother. In walks Daisy Ann whose father who died under suspicious circumstances was married to Amber and who wants revenge. So what could go wrong? Only every juicy thing. This was such a good return to some of my favorite characters. What a treat! And everything ends up how it should be in the end. All I want to know now is what’s next. The ending doesn’t lend itself to another book in the series but one never knows- but one def hopes!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC. I wasn’t sure about this because I didn’t love the Last Mrs. Parrish and I didn’t think a sequel was strictly necessarily but this was a good continuation (hopefully finish) of the story. I don’t know they I necessarily bought Daphne would EVER EVER have contact with him again, but after I got over that hump this was a quick read I read in one sitting on a plane. I still wish we would stop using domestic violence as a plot point.
