I had the privilege of reading the first book so receiving the next book was thrilling. I was supper exited about this new book as I was anticipating what was going to happen next. I will say the first book was really thrilling and felt a lot more like a page turner. I didn't get the same joy reading this as I feel like this second book wasn't needed. I do love the switching of characters as it made it a bit more tolerable to read but the characters weren't developing throughout the story. Overall, I'd say it was decent but I wouldn't read again or recommend this sequel.

This was a great book. I loved every paragraph, every sentence and every word of this masterpiece! I read it in 12 hours, which is a lot for me to do! It had everything and more laid out in the novel! I sure hope There is more to come from this author! I am totally hooked!

If you read The Last Mrs. Parrish, this will answer a lot of questions and it’s a satisfying ending. Daphne and Amber are both in the picture, as are of course Jackson and all the children. Amber’s past comes back to haunt her in the most shocking way and let’s just say karma plays a big role. There’s a lot of Amber we don’t know until this book and she’s very much like Jackson, but there cannot be two alphas in a marriage but there can be a lot of mutual scheming and planning. Jackson certainly met his match.
Daphne has found herself living a great life with her girls and her mom. Everything thing seems to be going well for her except for the fact that one of her daughters wants to spend time with Jackson. That’s where things get real, and Daphne has to learn to play dirty or the dynamic duo of Jackson and Amber will destroy her.
Once again Live Constantine keeps me on edge and with her unexpected twists and turns and I am rooting for Daphne all the way.

I finally picked up The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine, a book I had been excited to jump into after reading the first one years ago. The characters came rushing back to me so quickly, and I couldn't wait to see how their story would unfold.
Amber Patterson Parrish has transformed from an invisible wallflower into a powerful socialite. But, with her husband Jackson’s release from prison after a tax-evasion scandal, she’s losing control of everything she worked so hard for. As time slips away, so does her grip on her perfect life.
Daphne Parrish, once married to Jackson, returns to Bishops Harbor after years of swearing she’d never set foot in the town again. Her daughter’s desperate attempt to reconnect with her father brings Daphne back, only to find Jackson claiming he’s a changed man. But Daphne knows better—he can’t be trusted.
The pace is electric, the characters are wildly entertaining, and the ending?! 🤯 I can’t recommend this one enough for thriller fans! If you haven’t yet, make sure to add it to your TBR. Trust me, you’ll want to know what happens next.

The Next Mrs. Parrish started off pretty slow, especially considering how much I enjoyed the first book of the series. However, I really did enjoy the twist and thought that the character development paid off well throughout the book. While many of the characters are so hate-able, that makes the plot come to live. Overall, enjoyed the read.

3.5/5 stars. This one didn’t live up to the first book, but was still entertaining with a twist or two that will keep you guessing! Definitely worth the read!

Well if you've read the first book "The Last Mrs Paris" (a page turner) then you know we all wanted to know what happened to Amber and then, "The Next Mrs Paris", with all her ups and downs and ins and outs and dirty dealings we finally find out what happenes to Amber. I thought that the end was a little long but at the very last page and I mean the very last page you find out what happens to Amber. It wasn't until that evening after I close the book that it hit me, and I said wow! And it wasn't until the next day when I was telling my friend about it, that I saw the pink sunglasses that I gave it another WOW! The end is really really startling. What a deserved turn it takes totally unexpected ending. The last few chapters...just keep reading you will be stunned and satisfied. Yes!

enjoyed this read just like the first one! thrilling and entertaining. though this is a sequel, i feel this book could be read as as standalone and one would still be able to follow the story.
thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for this ARC

Big fan of this series despite hatinggggggg half the characters but the twists and turns have me coming back for more. I absolutely ate this one up

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I absolutely loved The Last Mrs. Parrish so was so excited for this sequel! I definitely enjoyed it, just not as much as the first. Amber is planning her divorce to Jackson and is still such an unlikable character.
Daphne is living with her daughters in California. She returns to Jackson in the summer to allow supervised visits with their daughters. But is he really a changed man?? I lived the twists and turns this book took! I love domestic psychological thrillers!
Thank you NetGalley and Random House for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

The follow up that we all wanted, but regretted having. I really didn’t enjoy this book, to the point where it almost made me like the first one less.

Just FUN!!!!! I absolutely loved the first book, and the excitement I had when I saw there would be a second was off the charts. This is a guilty pleasure read with toxic characters. Being back with these characters feels like coming home. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, advanced the plot and managed to tie everything up nicely.
I like the way the characters are truly being developed, for good or bad. It's just a delightful sequel with suspense, backstabbing betrayal and derailed plans. The women have depth that other books lack and the twists build on the plot.
If you enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish, the sequel is a must read!
Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

The Next Mrs Parrish was a wild ride. It was an addictive page-turning thriller. There were many twists.
Daphne and the girls return to CT to visit their father after Tallulah became depressed. Jackson was up to his old games along with Amber who teamed up with him.
I received an ARC copy of this via Net Galley. I wrote this review of my own will.

I loved the first one, but the second could have done without.. That being said, I did love all the twists and teamwork with different characters in the book. I’m my head, I wanted Daphne to get far away and maybe there be another wave of a new Mrs Parish, but this felt like I also have read another with a similar plot. It was still a book I wanted to finish, but perhaps the first was just too good and I had high expectations.

Thank you, NetGalley, for the advance copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish! Daphne and Amber are back, and as always, they bring plenty of drama and scheming. I loved the addition of Daisy Ann, who added a fresh dynamic to the story. While I didn’t find this installment quite as thrilling as The Last Mrs. Parrish, I still thoroughly enjoyed the fast-paced plot. Liv Constantine delivers another engaging read that kept me hooked from start to finish!

This book was the perfect follow up to the incredible bestseller original! The protagonists are as cunning as ever and the pace is just right! Loved it!

I don't know why its taken me so long to write this review! I had thought that I had and was shocked when I saw it hadn't gone through!
I was so obsessed with the Last Mrs. Parrish when we read it for book club a few years ago and was thrilled that there was a sequel. It had been a while since I read "The Last" so it took me a hot second to remember what had happened. Actually to be specific, it took me a few pages for my memory to return,
So yes, this book was full of twists, turns and was just as fast pace as the first one, BUT I felt like something was missing. Perhaps its the fact that I felt like I already know Amber and Daphne and of course Jackson, so some of the book felt a little on the predictable side. The characters seemed to have been that same as they were in the first book, meaning I didn't see any growth at least not from the last book. I would have expected the events from the first book to change them in some way. Especially Jackson who had been in prison.
Now don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the book, but like i said, it was missing a little something that the first book had.

This book returns to the story about Daphne, Amber and Jackson. I found this story to be repetitive and the characters were annoying. It was the same issues from the last book and I struggled getting through. It would not be something I would pick up again. I wish there would have be added characters to the story.

⭐⭐⭐ I really loved The Last Mrs. Parrish a few years ago, so I was pumped to receive an ARC of the much-anticipated sequel (coming in June) through NetGalley. Unfortunately, it just did not live up to my expectations… To be honest, it just felt really forced (like the fans wanted a sequel, so they made it happen). Plus, I didn’t like ANY of the characters, so I didn’t really care about the story. Sorry to disappoint those of you that are/were also looking forward to reading the next chapter of Amber and Daphne and Jackson’s story, but I wouldn’t get too excited. 😒
