I enjoyed this book so much. I loved the first one so much but this one for me the ending seemed really far fetched and messy and that I didn’t enjoy. The amount of stories put in place at the very end made for a confusing wild ending.

I enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish so I was really looking forward to this read and it definitely did not disappoint. Daphne and Amber are back, each with their own storylines and a new character, Daisy Ann adds tension to the plot. Jackson is as despicable as ever, as is Amber. They are truly characters that you love to hate with absolutely no redeeming characteristics. Tallulah and Bella add a dimension of teenage angst and play a pivotal role in this compelling read. Add in sweet little Jax and the stage is set for an exhilarating read full of tension, twists and turns, and an extremely satisfying conclusion. Add in extremely rare diamonds and the worst case of spousal emotional abuse with so many plots created by several characters and you know you are in for a riveting ride. Each chapter is told from one character’s POV which easily fills the reader in to the different plot lines. Liv Constantine is at her best and I will eagerly await her next book.
Many thanks to Liv Constantine, Bantam, and NetGalley for providing me with an arc of this just published thriller. Add this read to the top of your pile.

Thank you Netgalley, authors and Random House, Ballentine Publications for the ARC.
Amber Patterson has done a lot to get where she is, but at the last moment all her plans were thwarted and the husband Jackson she managed to snag from Daphne's hands lands up in jail for tax evasion and her dreams of settling rich going almost down the drain. But Jackson is about to be released and he has plans to get all the lost glory including his Ex wife and daughters by hook or crook and Amber is more than willing to help him out because of her agenda to get out rich and also teach someone a certain lesson they'll never forget. Meanwhile Daphne who swore never to go back to Jackson and live her life in her terms with true freedom and raise her girls. With a rebelling teenage daughter who's missing her father and depressed , Daphne unable to reveal the true nature of their father is stuck between rock and hard place and ends up falling deep into the trap laid for her.
But this time around there is a new player to this cat and mouse game , a nemesis of Amber from her past, Daisy Ann , who will stop at nothing to destroy her. Everyone is playing games with one another with high stakes at risk , what are they willing to do , how low can they stoop , who will win at the end?
.
Wow such a rollercoaster ride this was. Although you can read this as stand alone book , I would definitely suggest reading the first book The Last Mrs Parish first, followed by a One Shot/Novella they have which sort of is prequel to the whole story and a main antagonist. This certainly creates a bigger impact while reading this sequel domestic thriller.
Narrated from three central women characters in the story , it keeps you turning pages and engrossed until the end. The rich people dirty games, greed of power and wealth, the narcissistic traits of the antagonist that made me tensed with anticipation as to how that will harm the positive characters in the story was nerve wrecking.
If you like dramatic elements in your thrillers , this is perfect choice for a entertaining pool side read this summer.
As a reader who absolutely loved the previous installments with this plotline and characters, I loved reading a sequel that had satisfying conclusions.

One of my highly anticipated read for this year , the author duo did not disappoint.
4/5 🌟 read for me . Definitely recommend reading this and in the order I mentioned above more complete satisfaction :)

This story continues from the first book about a year later with the same characters Daphne, Amber and Jackson along with a new character Daisy Ann.
My favorite read this year so far... Good enough I couldn't put it down. A well-developed plot that made me feel angry emotions towards Jackson and Amber, they are crazy! this book was filled with devious twist and a very satisfying end!
Many thanks to Random House and NetGalley for providing the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

It took me a minute to get back into this world. I think The Next Mrs. Parrish would be best read immediately after the The Last Mrs. Parrish. These characters are just as diabolical and manipulative as they were before. All in all, a quick read for by the pool! 3.5⭐️

💭 MY THOUGHTS: First things first if you haven’t read The Last Mrs. Parish you definitely need to read that before diving into this sequel. The first book had so many shocking twists I didn’t know how this book could compete but it totally did! There were so many twists and turns I was guessing all the way up until the end. There are characters you’re rooting for and those you love to hate and the whole thing delivers a salacious read! Highly recommend.

My gorgeous book mail from @penguinrandomhouse included the cutest and funniest candle. Swipe to read the label! 🕯️

I was very pleasantly surprised by THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH! Sequels can be hard, especially when the authors have to unravel situations that were previously solved.

I thought THE LAST MRS. PARRISH was such a fun beach read when I read it years ago. I love rich people behaving badly, I love a grifter story, and I especially loved how all of the reveals unraveled. (If you need a refresher before you pick up this book, make sure you check out my THE LAST MRS. PARRISH spoilers)

THE NEXT MRS. PARRISH features all of our favorite love-to-hate characters from the first book as well as a new face: Daisy Ann. As with the first book, the reader can't really decide who they should be rooting for. There's backstabbing, gaslighting, manipulation, and reveals you won't see coming.

Anyone who loved TLMP should definitely read TNMP. I recommend reading them in order for the best experience, but the authors do a good job of reminding you what happened in Book 1.

Keep an eye on the trigger warnings: this book contains mental/physical abuse and gaslighting.

i do not read thrillers often but Liv just writes them so well and when i seen i was approved for the arc from NetGalley i shrieked!!

3.5 stars!! i loved being back in this world. jackson and amber are just as crazy as i remember them to be. i feel for daphne so bad and there were definitely some twists that made me audibly gasp because how!!! daisy ann is amazing and i love that in the end she got justice for her father and i was shocked it was her that ended up helping daphne. i am so happy jackson and amber finally got what their bitch asses deserved!! 🤪

If you have read the Last Mrs. Parrish, you must read this sequel! This one did not disappoint and even had a few new twisty characters. If you're into thrillers, pick this one up! I flew threw this one at top speed and am even thinking of rereading the first one. The sisters have done it again! Thank you to the publisher and Liv Constantine for my ARC.

Publishing a sequel 6 1/2 years after the original came out is an interesting choice, and I'll be honest that I don't remember a ton about the original other than generally enjoying it. You don't need to reread the original to jump into this one, but if you are thinking the characters have learned anything in the meantime, the answer is that they are just as despicable, if not more, than they were before. There's a big emphasis on Amber's backstory, and the people she's wronged in the past. Domestic suspense is just so saturated as a book market, and this one wasn't a memorable standout for me.

Before reading this one you must read “The Last Mrs. Parrish” and “The First Shot” to fully understand and appreciate everything happening in “The Next Mrs. Parrish”. Daphne is trying to move on from her past, while Daisy Anne is on a mission to obtain justice for her late-father, which she believes was murdered by Amber.

As with the previous books, I found myself getting incredibly frustrated with the choices Daphne made. I wanted to shake her and say “what are you doing!!!”
I was anxious the majority of the book, and devoured it in two days. Amber was insufferable and entitled as ever, and I was rooting for her downfall.

This was a five star read for me. Honestly, all Liv Constantine’s books are. They are the Queen of domestic thrillers.

I enjoyed reading this book as much as I enjoyed the first one. It was a quick read that was perfect for vacation.

The Next Mrs. Parrish is SPECTACULAR! I read it in less than 24 hours!

Book one sits among my fav books of all time. I remember how WOWED I was when I read it. This book here..... baby it was worth the wait. Cinematic plot points, wonderful character growth arcs and unexpected conclusions. Liv Constantine are a dynamic duo and powerhouse. They will continue to be auto-buy authors for me. I plan to purchase this book in hardcover immediatelty so I can read it again. AMAZEBALLS!

Daphne has got to return to Bishops Harbor. Her oldest daughter is insisting on seeing her dad. Daphne never dreamed she would have to go back. She thinks she is stronger now and can handle seeing Jackson. She also thinks she is prepared for anything he can throw at her…but is she?

Then there is Amber. She is the one married to Jackson now. But she has her own agenda and she is not going to wait on Jackson for any of her plans.

This story has a lot of moving parts and the manipulations are over the top! I am in the minority on my review. I just did not like anyone in this book! I mean…honestly…too awful for words. And don’t get me started on one of the children…I would have had to do more than her mom did to her for her bad behavior. I think she made me the maddest of the bunch. And that is saying something.

Now, I love Liv Constantine’s books and I have read several of her books and have given all of them 5 stars. This one just did not sit right with me. It just seemed a bit disjointed and rough around the edges. But don’t worry…I am still going to sit on pins and needles waiting on her next one. This one is just not my favorite.

I received this novel from the publisher for a honest review.

What a tangled web Liv Constantine weaves in The Next Mrs. Parrish, the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. The second story opens a while after the first story ends. Daphne is in CA, raising her two daughters and trying to heal past wounds inflicted by her toxic marriage to Jackson, who is currently in prison for tax evasion. And Amber, the new Mrs. Parrish, is the Queen Bee of society. While I didn’t tear through this book like I did the first, it was very entertaining and perfect for people who love to read about rich people being awful and rich. I recommend reading The Last Mrs. Parrish before diving into The Next Mrs. Parrish, as the story in the second book leans heavily on the first.

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing, & of course the dynamic duo, LIV CONSTANTINE for my ARC copy of this book! I was SO excited!

First and foremost, the gasp I gusped when I found out there was going to be a sequel to one of my OG favorite thrillers 😱 Daphne, Jackson, and Amber are back and messier than ever! This series keeps you on the edge of your seat because you literally never know what Jackson and Amber are going to do next. It’s definitely giving dramatic Lifetime movie vibes— in a good way!

Everyone go grab your copy today!!!!

👍🏻:
-Constant scheming
-A new face joining in on the scheming
-Meredith (probably the only sane one/voice of reason)
-Quick pacing
-Can’t trust anyone

👎🏻:
-Jackson & Amber: they’re so much always and ALWAYS find a way
-Constant false hope lol
-I missed the build-up of suspense from the first novel. This one was more chaotic.

I read The Last Mrs. Parrish and when I saw there was a sequel, I couldn't start reading it fast enough. The lies and manipulation had me coming back to see what happens to Daphne, Amber and Jackson.

Amber is still despicable and ruthless and is still married to Jackson Parrish, who was sent to prison for tax fraud in the first book. Daphne moved to California to leave her old life behind and to have to never see Jackson again. Jackson is set to be released from prison and he plans on taking his life back. Daphne and Jackson's first daughter, Tallulah, is missing her father so Daphne sets up a summer trip for her daughters to see their father. We also get introduced to a new character, Daisy Ann, and I loved her role in this story.

This book was WORTH the wait. Being thrown back into this world and seeing all three points of view made me remember how much I loved the first book. I definitely recommend reading the first book before diving into this one.

Thank you to NetGalley & Random House Publishing Group for the ARC!

Loved this sequel so much! It was fast paced, exciting, and a fun read. So much of what I loved about the Last Mrs. Parrish was in this book. The writing is great, the storyline is addictive and the characters are so well done. I can’t wait to meet one of the authors next week! I just recently found out it’s a sister duo! This is a great thriller! I highly recommend!
