First things first, I love the “Mrs. Parrish Series! I was completely obsessed with these books! In this highly anticipated sequel, the complicated dynamic between Daphne and Amber intensifies with the arrival of the enigmatic Daisy Ann, leading to a hellish game of Cat and Mouse. Liv Constantine’s writing truly engrosses you in the plot. I highly recommend this series!

I really liked The Last Mrs. Parrish so when I found out there was going to be a sequel, I had to have it.

This was a fun and soapy read, with plenty of manipulation, backstabbing, and revenge. Daphne, Amber, and Jackson are back, along with the addition of Daisy Ann, who was introduced in the prequel novella, The First Shot (a must read if you want more detail as to how she fits into the story).

Jackson was absolutely deplorable, but I found myself kind of wanting Amber to get away with whatever heinous plot she came up with. Daphne drove me crazy with her horrible decisions, especially since she should have known better than to let her guard down around Jackson.

Overall, I really liked the conclusion of the book and series, with each person getting the ending they deserved and then some. Karma really is a bitch.

While I thought The Last Mrs. Parrish was good- The Next Mrs. Parrish was not. The writing was flat, especially the dialogue. Some of the plot points or twists didn't even really make sense... they seemed like they came out of nowhere. I enjoyed Amber's terribleness though!

Pub date for this fiery duo. I loved the last Mrs. Parrish because I quite often enjoy characters that are not likeable. I really didn't want Amber to get what she wanted but knew that she would. This follow-up shows us that she quite hasn't learned her lesson. I also like to see Daphne get a bit of redemption and Jackson well we still hate Jackson. I love a good con-artist thriller and Liv Constantine does it well.

I absolutely love these two women! Their chemistry is perfect for a scandalous summer read.

Daphne is back in Bishop's Harbor- unfortunately. Her girls miss their father and Daphne makes the decision to return for the summer. We all know this won't end well!

I read this in a day or so. It was a fast fun read. I think the characters are written perfectly and I can't wait to see what happens next. With all the mind games it's hard to tell how things will turn out!

I loved revisiting these characters in The Next Mrs. Parrish. Jackson is getting ready to be released from prison for tax evasion and his new wife,Amber, is trying to figure out how to continue with her lavish lifestyle since their money is quickly running out. Daphne, meanwhile, is happily living in California away from Jackson and Amber. However, her oldest daughter tries to runs away to go see her dad. Daphne decides that she’ll take her girls back to see their dad over the summer so that she doesn’t end up losing them. Jackson tries to convince Daphne that he is a changed man and not the abusive man he truly is. But has prison really changed him? Will he convince Daphne to take him back?

We are also introduced to a new character, Daisy Ann. It took me a while to figure out how she was going to be connected to all the other characters, but I kind of liked the direction it ended up going. Daisy’s dad happens to be Amber‘s ex-husband that she was accused of murdering.

The story was definitely a fun ride that kept me on my toes. There was so much backstabbing that I wasn’t really sure who was telling the truth and what was real.

"The Next Mrs. Parrish" is a followup to the fantastic book "The Last Mrs. Parrish" which was a Reese's Bookclub pick. When I saw there was an ARC available for the sequel, I jumped at the chance. I loved book one, and this new one did not disappoint.

This book picks back up with Daphne and Amber. Daphne has fled to California with her two daughters, and Amber is still up to her scheming ways. The man in the middle of all of this, Jackson, is serving his time in prison for tax evasion. When Daphne's oldest daughter runs away to try to see her father (he has no custody), a series of catastrophic events begin to drop like dominos. Daphne and kids head back to Bishops Harbor to try to let her daughters have some semblance of a relationship with Jackson. Her carefully laid plans begin to unravel as Jackson and Amber join together to get what they want. Amber wants a divorce and Jackson wants Daphne, his perfect creation, back.

While the Parrishes are in a tornado of their own making, there is a new woman that enters the story named Daisy Ann. She is a very well to do socialite and entrepreneur in Texas. While she may seem off the beaten path without a connection to Amber or Daphne, as the story unfolds, the connection and sinister details become clear.

This story was so well laid out. The different POVs weaved together expertly, and I really enjoyed seeing how each of the ladies viewed the situation at hand. Each of the women are strong, independent, and fierce, but they don't all use these traits for good. For one, it will be their ultimate downfall. There are many twists, especially towards the end. As for the ending.....it was a bit of a pleasant shock. This book duet was wrapped up perfectly, and I couldn't have asked for more. Well the only thing I would ask if for book three!

Now here was a sequel I did not see coming. I LOVED The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine when it came out back in 2017. Who didn’t love to hate Amber when she snakes her way into Daphne and Jackson Parrish’s marriage and manages to cause a divorce. Fast forward to 2024 and I’m still relieved Daphne managed to get away from her abusive relationship and escape to a new life with her daughters in California. She has no reason to ever return to Bishops Harbor until one of her daughters attempts to run away to meet with her father. I feel like I could see the writing on the wall but I was still screaming in my head when Daphne decides to take her girls back to Bishops Harbor for the summer. 🚨DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!! 🚨 WHAT could possibly go wrong? The Next Mrs. Parrish comes out on June 18th and the reviews are already higher than the original. It’s a yes from me!

I didn't read The Last Mrs. Parrish when it was getting huge praise, mostly because it just didn't seem that interesting. But when I heard that this novel was coming out, I gave it a shot.

I'll say first and foremost that the first novel didn't quite do it for me. The characters are mostly unlikeable, and the story is very similar to a novel by Frieda McFadden. I guessed the ending very quickly.

However, this book? I liked it better, mostly because the story wasn't similar to another author's work. Amber's back and more evil than ever. Daphne gets dragged back into the drama, and Jackson wants Daphne back at any cost.

Daphne is a bit of a bland character to begin with, and she makes some stupid choices that I just can't get behind.

However, we also get new character Daisy Ann, who runs a very well known jewelry line that was originally designed by her late mother. I couldn't quite understand where Daisy Ann fit into all this, but the twist ending was kind of fantastic, and really made this book into a great read.

If you haven't read the Mrs. Parrish books, please get past the first one so you can read this one. It's definitely a juicy pool read.

Thank you to Liv Constantine, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine, and NetGallery for the advanced copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish to read and review!

I have to admit, I was apprehensive about this one after I finished The Last Mrs. Parrish. That one felt unoriginal and I had read plenty of books like it. However, the sequel lived up to my expectations.

I love the trope of someone from the main characters past coming back to enact revenge, and this book did it perfectly!

There's some good twists in this one, unlike the first one when they were all pretty predictable due to the lack of originality.

I loved the ending on this one. I was hoping that it would happen, and I am so glad that it did.

Somehow I totally missed that this book was a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. However, I feel that the author does a good job rehashing the first book so that I don't feel a need to go back and read the first, though I can't help but recommend that you do so before reading this one.

That being said, I didn't love this book, but also didn't hate it. I think the parts that I got hung up on were that Amber and Jackson just seem like such horrible people – too horrible to actually exist. But I suppose there are people out there like this out there and I've just been fortunate enough to not know it or them.

I found that the secondary plot involving a jewelry designer was a bit confusing, but it did all come together in the end, tying the story up. I also felt that there were a lot of twists and turns at the end of the book, making the slower (to me!) first parts worth getting through.

If you read The Last Mrs. Parrish and enjoyed it, I do think you would enjoy The Next Mrs. Parrish. If you didn't read the first book, read it before starting this one – perfect way to justify bringing two books on your summer vacation.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley.

At first I was not into it, as I don't normally like sequels/series very much (but I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish) and Amber and Jackson are the worst. However, it only took a bit for me to get sucked back in and dedicated to seeing how Daphne (and Daisy Ann) could overcome such evil. The authors are great at creating characters you want to root against!

This story follows three intertwining stories of Daphne, Amber, and Daisy Ann. Daphne is the ex wife of Jackson and mother to his two daughters. Amber is Jackson's current wife and mother to his son. Daisy Ann is a southern lady who is out for justice for the murder of her father. This story is full of allies and betrayal. Who is to be trusted?

Don't trust anyone in this story. They are either lying or too dumb to lie.

The pacing was not working for me in this story. I had to force myself to get through it. That is partly on me for choosing to read it. I have a hard time with stories involving children and especially when those children are treated poorly. Also everyone being rich was just annoying.

I think we were supposed to be pulling for Daphne but she just made dumb decision after dumb decision. It was hard to root for her and I only was for Bella and Talulah's sake.

Amber & Jackson deserve each other and their story was boring. Jax deserves better than both of them. I don't prefer stories focused on rich terrible people doing selfish things.

I liked Daisy Ann and she was the only person I was rooting for besides the kids.

The three stories were integrated really well. There are going to be a lot of people that like this kind of book that are going to eat it up. It just was not for me.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC!

The Next Mrs. Parrish is rich people behaving badly on steroids. I loved that this picked up right where the first book left off with Daphne, Amber, and Jackson. Jackson is in jail, Amber is scheming to leave him, and Daphne is living happily in California with their daughters. When one of their daughters tries to visit Jackson in jail without Daphne’s knowledge, Daphne is forced to allow the girls to spend some time with him. Yes, there were absolutely some questionable choices made by these characters but overall this book was such a fun sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. There were twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I had a great time reading this. I definitely recommend reading The Last Mrs. Parrish before The Next Mrs. Parrish. There is also a prequel novella of Amber’s story that I haven’t read!

Thanks so much to Random House Publishing Ballantine, Bantam for the opportunity to read this ARC!

WOW. I have no words for this book. This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I had no idea which twist was going to be next. The Next Mrs. Parrish continues the story with Daphne, Jackson, Amber and you are introduced to a new woman Daisy Ann. How there stories are connected I was in shock. I was a little bummed on the first book because it was so much like the Housemaid but this book made up for it. I am still in shock over this book. This is a must summer read.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
They did it again. How do the authors come up with these plots, I will never know. I am in awe of the authors writing!! This is a must read hands down!

The story continues… and it is full of the same shock and suspense we know and love!

Amber continues to be the same gold-digging, narcissistic, god-awful human she is. Isn’t she so easy to hate?! We are introduced to a new character that Amber wronged in the past, who won’t give up on getting her revenge. Jackson and Daphne become intertwined once again in a rollercoaster of drama that made my heart sink more than once.

Thank you so much Net Galley for sharing this book with me!

I enjoyed reading about amber & daphne again. The Last Mrs. Parrish is one of my favorite thriller books I’ve read. I think that this book was good but might not necessarily been needed. This sequel was very fast paced and kept my on my toes and guessing the whole way. Some of the twist I definitely did not expect as well as some plot points that I was excited about and things I was really excited were brought up in this book.

I didn’t dislike this book but wish it would have taken a little different route. If you want some closer after reading ‘The Last Mrs. Parrish’ and ‘the first shot’ then totally continue on with this series!!!

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is my most favorite story of the damn year!
The writing flows beautifully, and the story grabs you and won't let go.
It was dark, twisty, and gripped me from the very beginning.
Such an addicting read.

Thank You NetGalley and Random House, Ballantine & Bantam for your generosity and gifting me a copy of this amazing eARC!
