This one was meh for me. Read fine, good pacing, just didn't really grab my attention. Wasn't a thriller to write home about although I did enjoy the carry-over from the last book.

The Next Mrs. Parrish - Liv Constantine
⭐️⭐️⭐️
“She'd figure out a way to get herself out of this. It was what she did best.”
The former and present wife of Mr. Jackson Parrish are pushed back together in this sequel. Jackson is released from prison just as his newest wife is planning to leave him while his ex-wife is forced to reunite their kids with their abusive father.
Thank to Random House Publishing Group - Ballatine for the ARC! This was a big miss for me sadly. While the whiplash between the three women’s storylines was intriguing at times, it took me way too long to become invested in the story. I didn’t really connect with any of the three women and I was just reading to see how it ended and how the storylines came together.

The Next Mrs. Parrish is the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish but can be read as a stand a lone. As with the first book, it's a twisty and entertaining read! There are the same characters from the first book along with a new character, Daisy Ann who is a great addition to the story. This is a fantastic read with a very satisfying ending!
Synopsis: Daphne and Amber Parrish are thrust back into each other’s lives upon the resurgence of a long-forgotten threat, forcing a vicious game of cat and mouse where everything is on the line. With shocking turns and entertaining characters, The Next Mrs. Parrish will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about duplicity and betrayal.
Many thanks to #TheNextMrsParrish #NetGalley and #RandomHousePublishingGroup for Providing me with an E-ARC of this book.

Thank you Netgalley & Bantam Publishing for an eARC ♥️

If you read and enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish, then I feel like you won’t be able to resist this one! Liv Constantine takes us back to Bishops Harbor and the irrefutably twisted Parrish fam - Jackson, Daphne, and Amber.
This is a fast-paced follow up to the first novel, and it seamlessly continues the story. The main addition is a new primary character - Daisy Ann - whose story line adds layers and complicates issues for some of our other main players.
Without giving much away (for those who haven’t read the first book), I feel as though you’d be most appreciative of this story if you read that before delving into this one. Personally, I wish I would have reread The Last Mrs. Parrish (it’s been a few years), just so the events of that would have been a little fresher while reading.
Thanks so much to NetGalley and Random House Publishing (Ballantine) for an advanced copy of the ebook. It was definitely highly anticipated and did not disappoint!

Don't worry if you missed the first book-which introduced the awful Amber-this will be just fine as a standalone because Constantine gives enough (but not too much for fans) backstory and because it just flows. Amber's awful husband Jackson is in prison and they're running out of cash. His ex Daphne and her girls are living in California but Tallulah, the oldest daughter, was caught running away to see him. And then there's Daisy Ann, daughter of Amber's first husband, who outsmarted her once and now wants her revenge. These three women collide. All Amber wants is money, all Daphne wants is peace, and all Daisy wants is to see Amber in prison. They each give their POV in alternating chapters, which works well. No spoilers from me but know that is is a page turner with a few good twists. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. Perfect summer entertainment.

Thank you to NetGalley and Liv Constantine for the opportunity to read an advanced copy.
This book was a rollercoaster from before it even started until the very last page. I went from thinking it was a sequel to a great standalone book that didn’t really require one to almost wishing there was even more at the end. When I read The Last Mrs. Parrish, I was obsessed, but I never expected anything after. I’m glad to have gotten more anyway. Did the ending wrap up almost too neatly? Maybe, but I’d rather that than not neatly enough. I could absolutely see the argument for a more open ending, but I think this was perfectly fine. All this to say, I’m very glad to have read this, and if you enjoyed the previous novel, this one won’t leave you wanting!

This is a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, and would be difficult to follow without reading them in order, Here we see Daphne bringing her daughters to see their father. The daughters have no idea how evil their father truly is, but he will soon reveal his true self. This was a twisty story that fans of psychological thrillers will enjoy!

In this sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, Daphne and her daughters return to bishops Harbor after their escape, but Amber and Jackson have not changed. This sequel has so many twists and turns that keep you guessing until the last page, and an excellent sequel to one of my favorite physiological thrillers.

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine
Lynne and Valerie Constantine do not disappoint!!
So many things happening in this book! What a whirlwind! But not hard to keep up!
You run into some familiar faces as well as meet new ones and I loved it!
Amber, forever leaving a trail of mishaps everywhere she goes!
Jackson, as evil and manipulating as ever!
And Daphne, my favorite! Now a strong, smart, independent woman willing to do it all for her children!
The Last Mrs. Parrish will always be my favorite but this book was also good!
I will admit that it did take some chapters for me to fully get into it, but once I was hooked, I was hooked!

I wish I would have reread the first Mrs Parrish before starting this one but wow!!!! I absolutely forgot how unhinged Jackson and Amber actually are. This book follows up on what Amber and Jackson are up to and how he’s trying to get Daphne on his good side, so he can see his children. This book had me on the edge of my seat wondering how much more trouble those two could cause for others.
I received this book for free from netgalley in return for my honest opinion.
I still enjoy the first book more than the second.

This was an excellent continuation of "The Last Mrs. Parrish." I had great expectations for this book because I loved the first one so much and missed the major twist. I didn't feel let down.
Approximately a year has passed since the first book ended. Although the reader may hope for Daphne to have a happily ever after, her older daughter is not experiencing that. Trying to improve her daughter's mental health, she spends the summertime back in Connecticut. Like the previous book, this one also relates Amber's story in addition to Daphne's. But Daisy Ann, a brand-new character, is also introduced to us in this novel. She was a wonderful complement, and I delighted in determining her role in the narrative.
I loved the drama and intensity in the novel, which was yet another excellent thriller. It is essential reading, particularly for those who liked the first novel. The characters were fascinating to learn more about, and Amber's past caught my attention. Brilliant thriller number two from Liv Constantine!
For the ARC, we are grateful to Bantam/Random House Publishing and NetGalley.

This dynamic duo sure can bring the crazy and they do it again with this story! I had forgotten just how crazy the current Parrishes were and how sane Daphne was. Daphne and her girls are living their lives in California away from Jackson and his controlling ways only to be pulled back East into his orbit. The twists and turns commence and crazy Amber brings her own brand of crazy into the story and the authors introduce Daisy Ann who has a tie into Amber. A super fun story and so happy to have read an early copy! Thank you NetGalley! 4.5 stars!

This sequel catches back up with Amber, Daphne, and the gang and how their lives are going roughly 2 years after the events in The Last Mrs. Parrish.
I really had high hopes for the sequel of one of my favorite books and I was not disappointed. There were some parts that read a little repetitive to me, but I think that was partially because I went ahead and read the previous books again to refresh my memory.
These characters are some that I love to hate. The story was intricate and engaging. It was really hard to put down. I said multiple times to my husband that this book had me on edge and I needed to know how it ended immediately! Jackson and Amber will forever be some of the worst people that have ever been created.
Overall, a really fun read and a great end to this series!
Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I did not think this book could be more twisty than the first, but I was dead wrong! A MUST read for thriller fans! Gave me nightmares!

3.5/5 rounding to 4 stars
I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish and have read all of Liv Constantine’s books.
The excitement I had for this books was crazy.
However, it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. The ending was so good. The twists and turns at the end really saved the book for me. Amber and Jackson get what they deserve.
Jackson going after Daphne trying to get her kids just didn’t sit right with me. It was definitely expected of the character but I didn’t love those parts. I also really wanted Daphne to be smarter than that.
Overall, would still recommend the book. I think it closes the Parrish chapters very well. And seeing Jackson and Amber get what they deserve is so satisfying. If there’s a third book would love to see Amber sitting in a jail cell coming bad down to earth.

Can a leopard(s) change its spots? That is the big question. Daphne hoped she put the Jackson/Amber drama behind her and has moved on. But things are never what they seem. This books picks up where the last one left off, with not as much disturbing behavior as the first one. Again, the twists and turns keep coming with new characters entering the mix, and the storylines merge seamlessly with a somewhat perfect ending! Not as much character development as in the first, all characters have shown who they are and do not disappoint. This was a total guilty pleasure read for me. I couldn’t put it down.
Thanks to Random House for this ARC. This is my honest opinion.

It's always nice to revisit familiar characters and I was excited to receive this arc from netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion. I enjoyed this book about the same as I did the first one and I found myself rooting for the "good" guy as usual. This was an enjoyable read and I am interested to see what Constantine does next!

I’m so glad we got to follow up with all of these characters after the first book! This book had me guessing til the very end of who could be in that car waiting for Amber. I’m so glad she’s finally getting hers because this character might be one of my least favorite ever written. And Jackson of course finally getting what he deserved! Daphne and the girls get to live out their happy ending.

I love this series so much. I need more!
When I found out there was going to be a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, I knew immediately that I needed to get my hands on an ARC. Thanks to Berkely and NetGalley - they made that dream come true lol.
This book was so good y'all. An amazing wrap-up to Daphne and Amber's stories. Also, I loved the new character introduced in this one. She was so badass! What I liked most was that Daphne was able to learn from her past and not let Jackson ruin her life and save her daughters from any future pain.
I said this after reading LMP - MEN AIN'T SHIT!!! & Amber got what she deserved. She sucks.
I was never bored reading this, I couldn't put it down!
