A great follow-up to the first book, this book built upon the story of Daphne, Amber, and Jackson and brought in some new twists. The authors are fantastic at writing both likable and unlikable characters. Overall I enjoyed this book. Here's to hoping for more from these characters. Once again I was on the edge of my seat and filled with suspense wondering what was going to happen next. While it was a little more predictable since we are familiar with the characters and what they are capable of, there still were some surprise moments.

The perfect summer suspense book to fly through in An afternoon at the pool.

Wow!!! What a wild ride!!! A game of cat and mouse. I think my heart rate was constantly elevated throughout this book. We are back with the same characters as before with the introduction of a few new faces. I was surprised at almost every turn, guessing who was going to betray who and who would be caught. This one kept me on my toes until the last page!

I was definitely excited and I must admit a bit nervous when I saw this sequel! Only because Way too many times sequels aren’t as good as the first and ruined the first one for me, however that was not the case with this book.
The despicable due Amber and Jackson are definitely back and just as twisted. They are married and even have a son. Of course after Jackson’s time in prison.
Daphne (formerly married to Jackson Parrish) makes her return and I really enjoyed her characters development this time. However she has taken her two daughters and moved to California to start over. Until of course her oldest daughter, Tallulah, starts demanding to see her Father convinced her Mother is the evil monster trying to keep her away from getting to know her father and is causing a lot of problems for Daphne. Despite her better judgment, Daphne decides she has no other choice, but to go back and let Jackson see his daughters and pray that he has changed his ways and isn’t the same disgusting vile human he once was. I will say in the beginning of the book I was a little frustrated with Daphne about giving Jackson even the opportunity to see his children. However, I get that being a parent is hard to balance. As the book went on, I started to love Daphne‘s new way of living. She was a lot stronger. She wasn’t taking anyone’s crap and she was definitely going to be prepared for what was going to come her way and also in someways one step ahead of that.
There is a new character named Daisy Ann who I think ended up being my favorite character, which was surprising because add a new character and this mix could have been disastrous. So how exactly does Daisy Ann fit into all this Amber of course and her have some history that they need to figure out and let me just tell you as this unravel it gets juicier and juicier and I could not put this book down.

I think as in with most sequels, nothing is ever going to talk the first book, but this definitely change my opinion that sequels can’t be just as entertaining and bring new life to certain characters and more drama and messiness and all the good stuff that we eat so much enjoyed about the first book. This also was a pallet cleanser from the typical kind of books that I read, and I’m so glad that I ended up reading it because it was well worth it. It’s juicy. It’s entertaining it dramatic the characters you love to hate our back and even more I highly recommend this book.

But after her daughter runs away to find her ex she decides to go back for the summer. Amber Parish, Jackson’s current wife comes up with a plan to take his money and run before Jackson gets out of prison for embezzlement. Somehow, things just don’t work out as planned.

This book infuriated me. I’m pretty sure I wanted to throw my kindle 10 times while reading it. BUT it sucked me in just like The Last Mrs Parish did. I loved it. The twists and turns and the ending 👌🏻, exactly what I was hoping for! It’s the perfect conclusion to this story. It’s definitely a must read!

This was just the book I needed, without knowing it! When I got my hands on the The Last Mrs. Parrish about a year ago through Amazon Prime, I couldn't put it down. I couldn't possibly think that there was anything more to the story of Daphne, Amber, and Jackson, but Liv Constantine proved me wrong! Daisy Ann was the perfect addition to the cast of characters and I found myself loving every chapter she was featured in, and spent so much time trying to figure out how she played into everything. Getting more of Amber backstory was amazing. I found that I suddenly needed to know what happened to Daphne and the girls after the divorce, and what happened to Jackson (can I just say that it felt like there was no way that Jackson did enough time for all of his crimes?).
I loved every twist and turn and trust me, there were plenty. A definite must read for the summer. I am secretly hoping that there might be a third book (fingers crossed). Liv Constantine is quickly moving up and up on my TBR list!

Many of you may not know this but 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙏 𝙈𝙍𝙎. 𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙍𝙄𝙎𝙃 was my gateway book into thrillers, reading everything I can get my hands on, starting a bookstagram, and meeting all of you wonderful people! I was glued to the pages, consumed by the absolute nastiness of the characters. (Nasty in the best way obviously.) Amber and Daphne introduced me to the fact that you can entirely despise a character while eating up every word of their story. That is a clear sign of great writing in my opinion. That said, you can imagine my excitement when I received the next installment early. I did a quick reread of book 1 with the audiobook and it is just as fantastic as I remember! Immediately after, I dove into this one and the story picks up just a few months later.

Amber and Daphne are still mortal enemies but both remain trapped in Jackson’s grasp in one way or another. A new character is introduced that throws a wrench into everything. Amber and Daphne may just have to team up to finally beat Jackson once and for all. I cannot wait for you all to read this one and see where their story goes!

June 18 is coming up quick so if you’ve not read THE LAST MRS PARRISH, it’s time to get your booty in gear! It’s one of my favorite domestic thriller recs!

When I saw the Next Mrs. Parrish was written, I was so excited! @livconstantine2 writes such amazing books! This is the perfect bingeable poolside thriller.

Read the first book first! I loved this book. So exciting and kept me waiting to see what would happen next. The writing style is superb and I really enjoyed it. I would like to see a third book.

I received this for review from the publisher. I honestly think that I liked this more than book 1. This is the continuing story of Daphne, Jackson and Amber and the situations they get into. Just when you think it can’t get any more wild, it does. There were some tense moments in this story, when I was on the edge of my seat wondering how the characters would work their ways out of the tight spots they were in. Liv Constantine’s books are highly and easily readable. The kind of story you just sit down and get sucked into for an afternoon. The kind you don’t want to put down. If you liked the Last Mrs. Parrish, then this is a must read for you.

I don’t think I like this author duo. I loved loved loved the last Mrs. Parrish, gave it 5 stars. But I’ve not enjoyed anything since. I did not feel like LMP needed a sequel and when I originally saw this I thought this would be excellent but it simply was not. I found myself bored and skimming a lot. Sure it’s nice to see your least favorite characters come to justice but I really was fine without this whole book.

The ending redeemed this book for me.

I enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish so I was intrigued when a sequel was coming out (numerous years later). I think in order to fully enjoy this book you need to set aside judgement on decisions characters may or may not make. Also, you have to have read the first book in order to enjoy this book. Without giving too much away, the ending really picked up and I couldn't look away for the last 100 pages or so. Do I think this sequel needed to be written? No. Did I (mostly) enjoy it... mostly.

A few years ago I read The Last Mrs. Parrish and loved it, so I was really excited for this sequel. Did not disappoint! I love a good revenge plot. This story was so juicy and dramatic I couldn’t look away from the diabolical schemes and chaos. There’s a new character introduced in this one and at first I was like why are we reading about this woman? But once it all started to piece together and relate it was wild!

This book wasn't my favorite. I had such high expectations after the first book in the series so I think it was a let down from that. I still flew through it, but was finding most everything unrealistic and more wanting the book to be over. The first one in the series remains one of my favorites, but this just didn't live up to what I wanted it to!!

This book was absolutely amazing. I would totally recommend it. It was better than the first. I couldn’t put it down. Read it in two days thank you NetGalley.

The Last Mrs. Parrish is probably one of my favorite psychological thrillers of all time because of the unexpected twists. I was super excited to read Amber's backstory in The First Shot and it definitely prepares the reader for The Next Mrs. Parrish which continues the saga of Daphne, Amber and Jackson. The book is told from the perspectives of Daphne, Amber and my new favorite badass character Daisy Ann.

I don't want to ruin it for anyone that hasn't read the first two books in the series, but I'll just say that Amber and Daphne and Jackson were very true to character. Daisy Ann is definitely a combination of Amber and Daphne and she's the shrewdest one of the bunch, She's a real badass and probably my new favorite character!

I can't say that I loved this book quite as much as the first, because I had never read anything quite like The First Mrs. Parrish before. However, it is still full of twists and turns and backstabbing and conniving and definitely worth reading!

I was so excited to be able to read this early! Thank you Random House publishing group-Ballentine for giving me this opportunity. When I first saw it I fell in love with the cover but actually did not realize that it is a sequal. I went back and read The Last Mrs. Parrish before I read this one and it was nice to have the back story on all the characters. However, this one could be read alone. You may even be more surprised by the twists in it if you go in unaware. I usually don’t like the new characters being added into a second book but they made me like the new characters almost more than the old ones.I really enjoyed the suspense and found myself being surprised even though I thought I knew what was going on. These were my first books by these authors and I am intrigued that they wrote them together and will definitely read more of their books! Thank you again for the opportunity to read this early.

I didn't realise this was a sequel so I felt out of sorts with this. Unfortunately, I couldn't get book 1 soon enough to complete this and as such I read this with no idea what was going on
Surprisinly it didn't make me want to dnf or postpone - Instead I had some ups and downs and want to read this again once I read book 1

I absolutely devoured "The Last Mrs. Parrish" so when Netgalley and Random House Publishing gave me the opportunity to read an arc of the sequel I was thrilled! I do recommend reading the novella “The First Shot” before reading “The Next Mrs. Parrish” as it will introduce you to the new character Daisy Ann (one of the POVs) and give some of Amber’s backstory. Liv Constantine has you hooked from the very beginning. This book was a wild ride, every time you think you knew where this was going to go, there were twists and turns and a roller coaster of emotions, and that ending, oh boy. It kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next. I loved the short chapters and different points of view between Daphne, Amber, Daisy Ann and Jackson. Jackson & Amber play such good villains. I never knew what they were going to do next. I enjoyed the ending and felt that every character was where they deserved to be. I was cheering for Daphne throughout this whole book and so glad she got the closure she deserved. I really enjoyed this book! I loved the first one and was very pleasantly surprised how much I liked this sequel as well. These characters are so twisty and fascinating; this is one of the few books I can say that I hate the characters but still really enjoy the book. This book is so fun and binge worthy. Definitely an excellent summer read!
