Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group, and Liv Constantine for an ARC of this book.
Expected publication June 18, 2024
Jackson is getting out of prison. "New" mommy Amber has to figure out her next plan. Daphne is living in California with her girls and mom. Things seem to be going well for everyone, until...
I felt this book was a slow burn for me. I had mixed feelings- I liked it but didn't at the same time. I hated the characters including Daphne at times. I wanted to see Daphne succeed and that is what kept me reading, but sometimes some of the story lines seemed too far fetched.
I couldn't understand where Daisy Ann fit in and her character was introduced out of nowhere to me. I wish there was more backstory to her and she was introduced differently.
There were some story lines that seemed out of place or briefly touched upon (Daphne's new love interest, her mom going on her vacation, etc). I also do not think a woman who dealt with such trauma and abuse (and also moved across the country) would put themselves and their children back into their abusers life just to make their kid happy. I know this is fictional writing and the writers had to get Daphne back to Bishops Harbor somehow, it just made no sense to me.

This was so good. The twist caught me completely off guard. I can’t wait for the next one. I don’t want to spoil anything but everyone got exactly what they deserved

"Daphne and Amber Parrish are thrust back into each other’s lives upon the resurgence of a long-forgotten threat, forcing a vicious game of cat and mouse where everything is on the line, in this thrilling sequel to the million-copy-bestselling Reese’s Book Club pick The Last Mrs. Parrish.
“Delicious and shocking, The Next Mrs. Parrish is an incredibly entertaining and compulsive tale of revenge and deception you won’t want to miss.”—Jeneva Rose, New York Times bestselling author of You Shouldn’t Have Come Here"
It was great fun to enter the world of Daphne, Jackson and Amber again. This time with the addition of Daisy Anne who knows Amber from her previous marriage. There were many times during this book where i wanted to yell out loud at Daphne because of the decisions she was making that led her and her girls right back into Jackson's orbit. I also have a lot of concern for Jax and how he would fair during the "battle" between Jackson and Amber.
This book was kind of slow and repetitive until the last few chapters when everything happened very rapid.ly. The final few pages did give us a satisfying ending.

I really loved the first book in this series. This one felt like it started in the middle of a paragraph. I was lost from the very beginning. I ended up not finishing it because it just did not flow well.

The Next Mrs. Parrish was a book that you didn’t know you needed after the Last Mrs. Parrish. I totally enjoyed this story and many times out loud, I was thinking – who thinks of this stuff, but kept reading and loving it! I was excited to be chosen for the ARC reading of this title. Thank you Net Galley. I just reviewed The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine. #TheNextMrsParrish #NetGalley

I'm gonna be honest and say why .I chose this book. It was because my last name is Parrish.
But I never dreamed that it would be this good!
Amber was quite the character. I had mixed feelings about her along with her nemesis Daphne.
I couldn't put it down until this book was finished.
In parts of this book I was floored with some of the shenanigans from both women. I really wasn't sure at first who to believe.
I'm also gonna say that even though there is another book before this one ( which of course I didn't know) I could still understand the battle between the two women. This is what kept my attention all the way through.
The author has done a fantabulous job in making this story believable and realistic. I could feel their anger towards each other through the pages and some wasn't nice.
This is my 2nd favorite read of the year so far. I didn't want the story to end.
This book has quite the mystery which of course is what made it my favorite.
I'm giving this novel 5 stars.. I highly recommend!
My thanks for a copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I received this book from NetGalley for an honest review.
Amanda, Jackson, & Daphne are back. When the book begins Jackson is in jail, married to Amanda and Daphne has managed a life away from it all.
Tallulah wants to see her dad and Daphne agrees to go back to Bishops Harbor and that’s where it all goes wrong.
I don’t know to even rate this and to me the book was just ok. You have an abuse victim going back to her abuser. I know that many will enjoy it as it did being more of Amanda’s past into the story.
I did love how it all ended for both Jackson and Amanda.

This was a pretty interesting read. Having not read the first book I was worried I would be lost, but the story was interesting and the characters reminded you what happened in the last book. It would make a great movie and I like that it left the option for another book.

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is the sequel to the popular The Last Mrs. Parrish. There’s also a prequel to the series called The Last Shot and is a must read!
After Jackson is released from prison, Amber’s free reign is coming to an end as Jackson has other plans for her, Daphne and his kids.
There’s definitely some entertaining characters in this book, you never know what they’re going to do next and if you’re like me you certainly don’t like all of them! This book delivers some twists and and turns that will keep you turning the pages well past your bedtime! Definitely recommend!

Exciting sequel to the Next Mrs. Parrish! I would highly recommend reading the first book as well as the novella, First Shot, before reading this one to get the full story and most fulfilling experience. But this can be read as a stand alone if necessary. In this story, Daphne finds herself trapped back in Jackson’s sick world but the stakes are even higher this time. Amber continues her evil, sociopathic ways. And Jackson, well let’s just say that “you reap what you sow” and I loved how this ended! Thank you Netgalley, Random House Publishing Ballantine and the authors for this eARC in exchange for my honest review. This book will be available for purchase on June 18, 2024

One of those rare books that I actually enjoy the sequel more than the first book!
So intriguing to see where the lives of the main characters go and we get EVEN MORE background on just what makes them who they are today.

Pros:
As gripping and exciting as the first one!
Cons:
Not quite believable. I can’t believe how unlikeable most characters are, but you knew it would work out well in the end. Speaking of the ending - that was just out of left field - it was a way to wrap up the story, but didn’t really fit with the rest of the book.
3 stars/B-

This was a fun escapist read but I did not like it as much as the first book. Some of the plot elements were completely over the top and I struggled with the (at times) generic dialogue.

I didn’t find this one as gripping as The Last Mrs. Parrish because the characters were defined and developed in that book which lead the reader to be less surprised in the actions of them in this one. With that said, the book was still very enjoyable to read and there were twists that came unexpectedly. The chapters switch through character points of view which gave the reader a sense of multiple story-lines occurring which kept you engaged throughout.

"The Next Mrs. Parrish" is a gripping psychological thriller that will keep readers guessing until the very end. With its compelling characters, intricate plot, and jaw-dropping twists, it is sure to captivate fans of the genre. Whether you’re a seasoned thriller enthusiast or simply looking for a book that will keep you up all night, "The Next Mrs. Parrish" is a must-read. Just be prepared to question everything you thought you knew about ambition, deception, and the pursuit of happiness.

Even though I enjoyed the first book more, I still enjoyed this one a lot. It’s best to read “The first shot” to understand everything a lot more. I loved Daisy Ann’s character, but highly disliked both Jackson and Amber. Amber was such a unlikable character. The book was really good, some good twists, very entertaining, characters you will love or hate. I binged this in two days because I was really into the book and wanted to see how it would end. I’m glad the author gave the characters the endings that they each deserved. I highly recommend the book. 4.5/5 Rating

Jackson Parrish is being released from jail after tax fraud. Amber is still lingering around with their son, Jax. Daphne and her two daughters have moved far away from Jackson and are finally safe..until they’re not! Daphne’s daughter Tallulah insists on having her father in her life while she has no idea what he is capable of.
This book was great like the previous book—but even better! Jackson and Amber absolutely infuriated me, but that’s the whole point. The lying, gaslighting, manipulation, and scheming made for an interesting read. I loved the different character perspectives. In this book, we are introduced to a new character Daisy Anne. I greatly enjoyed her role in the storyline and how everything tied together in the end. Suspenseful and captivating, I was kept on the edge of my seat. SUCH a satisfying ending!
Thank you NetGalley and Bantam Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC. All opinions are my own.

I can’t say that I loved this book as much as the first book, It is a close second This book can also be read as a standalone, but I urge you to read The last Mrs.Parrish, if you haven’t already. This book is once again filled with characters that you will love to hate, twists and turns, and lots of entertainment. Daphne is the former Mrs. Parrish, hiding across country from her ex-husband and father of her two children. Amber, the current Mrs. Parrish is wanting OUT! Putting her master-plan into action, she’s set to leave Jackson behind but still maintain her lavish lifestyle. Jackson, is approaching his release from prison. He is ready to once again be King and take charge of his family and fortune. We meet Daisy Ann. Daisy Ann runs a famous jewelry line in which Amber is certain to take over. If you’re looking for a domestic suspense with secrets, backstabbing, conspiring/planning and shocking behaviors, this book is for you! There is also a novella THE FIRST SHOT that you can read first.

Liv Constantine has done it again!!! The Next Mrs. Parrish was just as brilliant as her previous book, The Last Mrs. Parrish.
There were so many twists & turns along the way. I can’t count the number of times I held my breath or gasped. I don’t want to give any spoilers away but this book gave me whiplash. Just when I thought things were going to go one way we did a sharp turn in the opposite direction.
I feel as though the book ended beautifully. Every storyline was wrapped up nice & neat. I appreciate that so much, especially when reading a series.
I will be thinking about this book for weeks to come.

This book drew me in from the start, just as the first book of this series did. Once again, I am impressed with Liv Constantine and her writing!
