Sequels can be so hit and miss but this one was definitely a hit. I enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish but I absolutely loved The Next Mrs. Parrish.
The whole story line was absolutely wild, but I absolutely loved it. Each part of the story could have gone so many different ways and it was all tied together so well. Just when you thought you figured it out, it all changed. Just when I thought I was going to roll my eyes and say “c’mon Daphne you know better” to myself for the 4th time it was great to see that she had a great idea! Great work, many thanks to Net Galley and Bantam for the chance to read this before it’s official release! #netgalley

Unfortunately, I found this novel to be disappointing, as the the mystery/thriller of this story was very thin, and the story was deeply convoluted and slow to develop. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for this honest review.

I love a good sequel and this one did not disappoint! The story of these characters all came back to me as I read. It was enjoyable and page-turning! The secrets, the tricks, and the lengths that they go to in order to get what they want! Loved this read!!

I could not put this book down I simply could not wait to see how this was going to end. I was very excited to read this because The Last Mrs.Parish was so well written and had a wonderful and unexpected twist at the end that I had not predicted. This new book was just as good maybe even better than the last one. I love how its written from two points of view and how the womens roles have switched from the last book. Amber and Daphne Parrish are thrown together once again when we thought the two women were finally free from each other. This book has so many twists you never can really figure out which characters are loyal to one another.
This book is an absolute page turner, the perfect summer beach read. Amber is the current wife of Jackson Parrish and is climbing the social ladder as she has always dreamed no longer a poor wall flower. Daphne on the other had has moved to the west coast to hopefully live a peaceful life away from her manipulating ex husband Jackson. Unfortunately for Daphne her oldest daughter wants to know her Dad and Daphne again becomes tangled in the web of Parrish lies and deceit.

Love the cover. I wanted this book to be as great as the first but it didn’t live up to my expectations. The book was a little cliché and predictable. I really don’t like Jackson as a character and his controlling, abusive nature was cringy and blah. A 2.5 start rounded to a 3. An easy, quick read but this one did not met the expectations I had for it.

I loved the first book so I was very excited to get my hands on an advanced copy of the sequel!
It was great to see what the characters were up to and the addition of Daisy Ann took things up a notch.
Daphne thought life was great in California living with her mother and two daughters, Tallulah and Bella. She thought her devastating ordeal with Jackson was in the past and they could finally find some peace in their lives. That is until Tallulah starts acting out and she is forced to take them back to Bishops Harbor for the summer to reconnect with their father who has been recently released from prison for tax fraud.
Daphne has no clue that her life is about to take a turn for the worse when Jackson has set up a devious plan with his new wife, a con-artist named Amber that will force her into a corner with no way out.
I loved Daisy Ann’s tie-in to the story as it made the story fresh and engaging. Save this book to your TBR for a thrilling summer read.
Thank you to NetGalley & Random House Publishing for this advance reader copy of The Next Mrs. Parrish!

Hold onto your hats for this exciting, twisty, faced paced novel. If you loved The Last Mrs. Paris, you're going to love the latest Liv Constantine novel "The Next Mrs. Parish"!!! All of the characters are back as well as a few new ones, scheming and betraying one another. Just when you think you have the puzzles solved, there's a new twist thrown into the mix!
It's a story of Manupulation, Betrayle, and Vengence.
I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend the Next Mrs. Parish.

I was excited to hear about the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, but after reading it, I’ve realized that not all stories need to be continued. Maybe my taste has evolved since the first book was released seven years ago..but..I felt that the plot was very surface level, the writing was clunky, and there wasn’t really any “thrill” in this thriller.
Thank you to Random House and Net Galley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Daphne and Amber are back, along with Daisy Ann and Jackson, in a sequel that is as tantalizing as the first novel. This time around, everyone is out for revenge, and the storylines intermingle in a satisfying way. If you enjoyed the original book, definitely snag this one as well.

Very rarely do books make me tell people to leave me alone or take it with me to the bathroom....but this book was it. It had my heart pounding and need to yell so strong. From beginning to end you are on edge. A truly heart thumping must-read! One day was too long to complete this book!

The captivating tale of Amber Patterson Parrish and her post-prison life had me engrossed from the start. With a well-crafted plot full of surprises and a perfect pacing, the story kept me engaged until the final reveal.

This book was SO good, I wanted more!!! I could not stop reading this. This was the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. It could be read alone, but is so much better after having read the first one. I loved the new characters and how everyone intertwined with each other! The twists were great! There were several times my jaw dropped! I definitely recommend!

Unfortunately I did not love this one as much as I did the first. Felt this book was repetitive and outlandish. That said, I would still recommend giving it a try. Maybe it's just me. Daisy Ann made a great addition to the book. Would love to read more on her. Liv did a great job making Amber even more vile than the first. Can't think of a character I hated more than her. Well done there!

I would like to thank Ballantine and Net Galley for the opportunity to read this book as an ARC. I read the previous book- The Last Mrs. Parrish, a few years ago and found it a twisty, engaging thriller. I am not as fond of the sequel. I understand there is another book, called First Shot, that is a prequel and clarifies some of the plot points. Quite frankly, I am not going to bother. This is a rehash of the first, with a new character, Daisy Ann, and more of the same nastiness from the first. I really was not as engaged this time with the characters and plot line. It just wasn't for me.

Sequels to good books can often be tough, but this one was pretty good! I found it a bit slow in the very beginning, but I was hooked at about the 1/3 mark. Loved the constant not knowing what was going to happen at the end- kept me on my toes!
Thank you to the authors, the publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read & review this ahead of its publication!

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is a riveting sequel that seamlessly continues the saga of deceit and betrayal introduced in its predecessor. Set against the backdrop of a wealthy community, the novel follows the intertwined lives of Amber, Jackson, and Daphne Parrish as they grapple with past sins and present threats. With the addition of a new character, Daisy Ann, the narrative unfolds with relentless pacing, delivering unexpected twists and revelations that keep readers on the edge of their seats. Despite the detestable nature of some characters, the Constantine sisters' skillful storytelling and intricate plot make for a compelling read, ultimately offering a tantalizing blend of suspense and psychological intrigue that will leave readers breathless until the very end.

I was chosen to be an ARC reader for this book and it definitely did not disappoint at all. All the suspense, intrigue and drama and even more is here. Revenge is a dish best served cold is what this book entails. Never a dull moment and I honestly wouldn’t mind another book. Such an amazing read. Didn’t disappoint as usual. I highly recommend but read the previous books first so you truly enjoy this one.

I received this e-book through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley and the author/publisher for the copy!
Throughout this sequel, we follow Amber, Daphne, and a new character, Daisy Ann. Even though Jackson is currently in prison, after Daphne & the kids left him for California, Amber is still living the glamorous life she was before, without Jackson in the way. But her funds are quickly disappearing. If she wants to continue this life, she must find a way to get some cash flow. Daphne, on the other hand, is loving life with her mother & daughters in California, hoping to never have to see Jackson again. But when her teenage daughter starts to push back on wanting to see her father, and eventually tries to run away, she has to make a choice. Daphne decides that they will spend the summer in Bishops Harbor, so the girls can be with their father. Even though Jackson says he is a changed man after prison, Daphne is on high alert. Will Daphne get caught in Jackson's web again?
Wow! I think this book was way better than the first one!!! I could not put this one down! This book had so many twists and turn that I wasn't even ready for, I was hooked immediately! If you read the first book, you DEFINITELY need to read this one, but I do think it could work as a stand alone. The authors did an excellent job of explaining things in enough detail so the audience knows what's going on. Five stars!!!

I think I forgot to breathe while reading this book. It had me at the edge of my seat asking "What's going to happen next?"
The pacing of this book was perfect. Started out a little slow as I was reintroduced to the characters and had to remember the events that occurred in the first book. I also was initially confused by the introduction of a totally new character and really was curious how she fit in with the rest of the story. However, the pacing of events gradually picked up and I found myself holding my breath, panicking, worrying, getting mad, wanting to get revenge, all of it throughout each ongoing chapter.
Beautifully written once again. I look forward to reading the next Liz Constantine book!

I loved the first book The Last Mrs Parish so much! I was so excited to jump back into the story again. Overall I really enjoyed this book. Had me at the edge of my seat just waiting to see what was going to happen next. Just wish there wasn't such a long time between the books cause I forgot certain details.
