I really enjoyed “The Last Mrs. Parrish” and was so excited to see that a new sequel was being published! I was very satisfied with the ending of the first book, but I’m always happy to revisit characters. I love the continuation and connection with characters you’ve enjoyed reading. I know there is a short novella that precedes this sequel, but I did not read it. I did not affect my ability to quickly get to know the new character. Daisy Ann is skillfully woven into this sequel and I enjoyed her story just as much as Daphne. The pacing in this book is quick and there is never a slow moment. The ending was perfection and if I thought I was satisfied with the first book’s ending, this one takes the award.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bantam for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you for the early release! I was very excited to read this, especially coming off of the first book! I did however, feel as though this book did not live up the first book's hype. There was definitely a lot of twists, but overall I was a bit disappointed in this book. There were often times that I felt as though some of the things were a bit predictable. Overall, a nice compliment to the first book and will definitely keep you engaged, but I wouldn't expect it to be quite as good as the first.

Daphne and Amber are back and this book picks up right where the first book left off. We also meet Daisy Ann, who is my favorite character. The chapters alternate between each FMC and sometimes you’re left on a cliff hanger which made me want to speed read this book to figure out what would happen next. The beginning was a little slow for me but after about 15% I was hooked. Avoiding any spoilers, I think this was a great sequel! The drama 🤌🏼 The scheming 🤌🏼 The revenge 🤌🏼 All amazing! The drama is ridiculous and sometimes farfetched but that’s why I’ve loved this series. There’s always so many twists and turns! And the ending had me laughing an evil laugh, everyone got what they deserved.
Read if you like:
- Domestic thriller
- Rich husband/housewife drama
- Strong FMCs
- Cat & mouse game
- Revenge
Thank you Random House, Liv Constantine and NetGalley for the ARC!

Thank you to NetGalley for an e-ARC in exchange for a fair review. I was thrilled when I saw Liv Constantine was working on a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish. That said, I had no idea where the story would go as I felt the first book had a pretty solid ending.
I loved The Next Mrs. Parrish just as much as the first book. Jackson and Amber are just as evil and manipulative as ever. I truthfully do not think I’ve ever read a book that featured a character I despised more. As the sequel begins, Jackson is released from prison and Amber fears their dwindling bank account will prevent her from living the life she deserves. After Amber finds diamonds on her husband’s boat, she cooks up a plan to make bank and leave Jackson for good. When Jackson catches her red handed, Amber is forced to help Jackson bring Daphne back into his life. Poor Daphne!
The reader is also introduced to a new character named Daisy Ann. Daisy Ann’s father is Amber’s former husband. Daisy Ann is convinced Amber killed her father, and why would anyone think otherwise? Daisy Ann is out for revenge, but I couldn’t tell if I liked her or not until the very end of the book.
If you love a story with lies, revenge, and deception, this book is for you. It was an easy four stars for me. I highly recommend it!

"You always remember your first......................................
...............thriller!"
I was so excited for this sequel since the moment I heard chatter about it as The Last Mrs. Parrish introduced me & hooked me to this genre. I remember being obsessed with the book when it came out and I recommended it to everyone. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the sequel which completely fell flat. Aside from Daphne and her friend Meredith, none of the characters seem real nor are any likeable...not even in a love to hate kinda way. If this was the first book. I would not be interested in a prequel or a sequel. In fact, I had to force myself to finish reading it for the purposes of
this review and because I owed it to the original book. But I was very tempted to give up. I didn't care how it ended.
Liv Constantine's books have been hit or miss since The Last Mrs. Parrish. I stopped reading The Senators Wife towards the end because it was ridiculous and again, I didn't care. Hopefully they'll find their groove again and deliver another masterpiece like The Last Mrs Parrish.

Having read the Last Mrs. Parrish several years ago, I found the Next Mrs.Parrish a delightful, seductive and complete stand alone novel from the first one written by the author. So embarking on this new story, Revenge was the leading chararacteristic of frankly all the characters as they sought to regain their proper positions and relationships with each other. The story is well told as you become reacquainted with Daphne, the former Mrs. Parrish and Amber the current Mrs. Parrish. Despite the affluence of all the characters, no one is content with what they have. Revenge is divine and none of the characters miss any tricks in this fast moving summer escape. Surprises along the way, but of course Sweet Revenge is the prize each protagonist hopes to win.

Woah, woah, woahhhhh! The Next Mrs. Parrish brought me back into reading years ago, and The Last Mrs. Parrish will keep me reading anything Liv Constantine writes!
The array of emotions I felt in this book: hope, disgust, anxiety, murderous, to elated and happy!
My favorite character in this book is Daisy Ann. She is a strong, independent mother and business owner who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth behind her father’s death.
If I could give it more than five stars I would!
P.S. I will hate Jackson Parrish until my dying day.

The follow up to The Last Mrs. Parrish finds us with Amber visiting her husband Jackson in jail, and Daphne and the girls living in California. The girls miss their dad and Daphne agrees to take them to CT for the summer to visit. Daisy Ann, a new character from Amber’s past is also introduced to us.
I’m sorry I can’t understand how a woman who went through so much psychological and physical trauma in her marriage with Jackson (in the first book) could agree to expose her children to him again. If I didn’t have to review this book I would’ve just stopped at 40% because I was so annoyed at the turn of events. What these very unlikeable characters (Amber and Jackson) getaway with is infuriating. I am glad I didn’t stop reading because I really needed to see how the drama ends between these characters. Definitely read if you read the first one and enjoyed it.

While I thoroughly enjoyed The Last Mrs Parrish, this one did not deliver. Everything was incredibly far-fetched and hokey, which was disappointing as I was really looking forward to this. While I liked the introduction of a new perspective (Daisy Ann), it all felt a little too soap opera-y. During a verbal altercation, one character pokes the other woman as she speaks. Later, a character lures another character to meet her by pretending he had one a Visa gift card. It just all felt rushed, and I couldn’t suspend belief. That said, I very much appreciate the ARC from NetGalley, Liz Constantine, and Bantam.

Wow. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC and I have to admit, this book is one of the best I’ve read this year. It had me almost yelling ready to throw my kindle at least 3 times and then cheering at points as well. There was a bit of storyline that was hard to believe at a couple points, but overall it didn’t really matter. Several great twists with most catching me off guard. I loved it and definitely recommend. 5 Stars.

A highly anticipated sequel for me. As the situation usually is, the second didn’t QUITE live up to the first.
I just cant stand the “she’s crazy” gaslighting and manipulation in stories. I get it’s necessary for the story and I knew I’d be satisfied at the end, but the first 75% just made me SO ANGRY.
The original is one of my favorite thrillers of all time. I wish it was left alone. 🙈
That being said, I liked the new characters and liked the ending!

Thank you to Net Galley, Liv Constantine for this ARC. I didn’t love the last Mrs Parrish because the characters were so difficult to like. I have to say having already known who they were, I enjoyed this sequel. It was an interesting twist that brings Daphne, Jackson and Amber back in each others worlds. The final 3rd of the book I absolutely could not put down and was on the edge of my seat to find out if Daphne would make it out with the girls. I am very interested if there will be another book continuing the story.

. 2.5/5 ⭐️⭐️💫
I’m not sure I like this as much as the first book. I was really annoyed throughout the whole story. While I was pleased Daphne escaped from Jackson once again, I strongly believe that her character did not grow or improve. She still came of as a pushover and gullible. After everything she went through, she seemed to not have learned her lesson. Her trauma and ptsd from the abuse were not properly addressed and treated in my opinion. If you were gonna make a second book, I think the protagonist must show some growth and strength to her character. I didn’t get any of that.
She escaped with the help of other people.
And that Tallulah girl. Ugh. She was annoying till the end. Daphne couldn’t even discipline her own child.
These are just my two cents.
Thank you for the ARC.

I was surprised that there was a sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, as I thought that book wrapped up nicely. However, I loved that book, so I had to check out the follow-up! While not quite as good as the original, I still found this to be an enjoyable read.

I love the first book "The Last Mrs. Parrish. It was one of my favorite books of all time. I was so excited to see a sequel. I think the book started off a little slow but I found that it picked up at the halfway point. In this sequel, Amber is back and more evil than ever. Amber is currently married to Jackson Parrish, who is just out of prision for tax fraud. Daphne decided to return to Bishop Harbor for a limited time after her daughter Tullulah has acting out due to missing her father.
Daphne planned to have limited visits with her controlling ex husband. However, Jackson had a different plan. The book is full of twists and turns as Jackson goes back to his old ways and is trying to win over his one true love Daphne. In the book we also meet a new character named Daisy Ann. I wasn't sure how she would fit into the storyline but it turned out to be refreshing. I also really enjoyed the details of Amber's life so you could get a glimce of why she turned out to be a vengeful person.
Thank you to Random House Publishing Group and Netgalley for the advance copy.

Thanks to RH-Ballantine & NetGalley for providing a digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.
If you thought that the people from The Last Mrs. Parrish couldn't get any worse, you're in for a surprise. Honestly, I found it really difficult to re-engage with these characters. They're all so awful (or, in the case of Daphne, TSTL)! Amber? Worse, but now with delusions of grandeur. Jackson? Recently released from prison, but just as bad, has learned *nothing*, and thinks he can win Daphne back (just, you know, she has to be a size 4 again). Daphne? Waaaaaayyyyy too trusting, again, and she really should know better by now. She does a lot of "protecting the kids" from knowing what a POS their father is.
There are a few new characters to flesh out the trail of shittiness that Jackson and Amber go down, and they are fine. I didn't feel particularly connected to any of them, but they moved the story along.
I knew what I was in for with a second book, but I doubt I will read another. The Constantines' books are always full of creeps, but this series is just too much for me. Your mileage may vary! And the ways they come up with the have people double-cross one another are very inventive!

“Who’s afraid of little old me? You should be.”
The Next Mrs. Parrish is out this summer, June 18th. Mark your calendars because this is a definite beach read!
⭐️s: 3.5/5
I loved The Last Mrs. Parrish so much, that when I found out there was a sequel being written I could not wait to get my hands on it. When people ask me for recommendations, it is always one of the first books that come to mind.
I was a little surprised that there was a sequel being written because I thought the first book wrapped up nicely. The sequel wasn’t quite as good in my opinion, but it certainly didn’t disappoint, either.
Daphne and Amber Parrish are thrust back into each other’s lives upon the resurgence of a forgotten threat, forcing another game of cat and mouse.
Constantine does a great job of transitioning between multiple POVs while keeping a good pace. While it did not have as strong of a major twist like the first book, it still has so many smaller plot twists that keep you guessing where everyone will end up. It kept my adrenaline up and my female rage high.
Huge thanks to Random House - Ballantine (@randomhouse) via @netgalley for the digital advanced copy!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance ecopy of this title. In this sequel, Daphne Parrish has made a new life across the country, and Amber Parrish is plotting a way to abscond with her husband's fortune while he is in prison. Daphne wants nothing to do with revisiting her past, but her daughter pushes for time with her father. Daphne makes the mistake of returning east with her daughters for the summer, where she is, again, gaslighted and mentally abused. Meanwhile, Amber's grand plans are on the brink of collapse. Will Daphne be able to free herself again? This sequel is fast-paced and equal to, or even better than the original. Highly recommend!

I loved The Last Mrs.Parrish! I was so excited when I found out a second one was coming out. I couldn’t believe I was given an ARC of The Next Mrs.Parrish! It was just as good as the first one. There was so much suspense. I honestly had no idea what to expect everytime I turned the page. Daphne decides to go back to Bishops Harbor so the girls can see their dad. Daphne knows she can’t trust him but she wants her girls to be happy. Did she make a mistake coming back? And Amber doesn’t know what she’s going to do now that money is running low. She will do whatever it takes to get money and doesn’t care who gets hurt during the process. There were so many shocking twists and turns. I loved how it ended. I would mind a third book! I would definitely recommend this book! Thank you so much Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine, Live and NetGalley for the ARC!

This book was nicely written although I found it to fall flat and didn’t like nearly as much as the first one. I couldn’t connect with the characters and lost interest.
