The Next Mrs. Parrish reunites readers with Daphne and Amber Parrish as they navigate Jackson's release from prison. Amber has enjoyed her time being Queen Bee in Bishops Harbor, but with Jackson returning, things are about to change. Daphne has started a new life across the country with her daughters, but she finds herself spending the summer back in Bishops Harbor monitoring Jackson's time with their children. Jackson claims that he's reformed and that he wants to get their family back together. With the introduction of a new character, new information about Amber's past, and twists and turns, this sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish was a delight. The Constantine Sisters did a superb job of making this book just as entertaining and surprising as their first. Fans will not be disappointed! Special thanks to NetGalley and Bantam Publishing for the chance to be an advanced reader on this rollercoaster of a book.

Fun sequel to the first novel, I was surprised to hear there was a follow-up but I enjoyed it overall! I enjoyed the setting as much as I did the first one.

Jackson Parrish is about to be released from prison. His oldest daughter, Tallulah, has really been missing him, which prompted Daphne (the first Mrs. Parrish) to visit Bishops Harbor. Jackson has a plan to win Daphne back by proving he is a changed man.

Amber wants nothing more than to leave and be rich. She forms a plan to help Jackson win his family back so that she can leave. We also have a new character in the mix - Daisy Ann, daughter of Amber’s first husband.

So many fun twists and turns along the way that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved this book just as much as the first one! I also highly recommend reading The First Shot novella prior to reading this book, which offers some really good background on Amber. The book wraps up very well, I highly recommend picking up a copy. Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for an ARC!

I just finished this and I loved it so much! Thank you NETgalley for my arc of this book.

I read the last Mrs Parrish years ago when it came out, and I really enjoyed it. I understand people had issues with it, but to me it was a great thriller with characters to hate and cheer for.

This book is much better than the first. Daphne is still a character that you root for, as is daisy ann, while Jackson and Amber are truly awful. I loved the characters in this book, how they interacted with each other, and how well this story played out. I will definitely recommend this book as a great summer read.

A sequel done right! In The Last Mrs. Parrish, 2 out of 3 of the main characters were pretty unlikable. I liked the book just fine, but I felt like the dialogue and plot kind of dragged. I was surprised to see a sequel, but even more surprised that I really enjoyed it a lot more than the first.

In The Next Mrs. Parrish we are introduced to a new character, Daisy Ann. I immediately was rooting for her. The pace of this book felt right. I did not feel like there was a bunch of information that wasn’t important and was just there to fill the page. Liv Constantine did a good job of summarizing what happened previously, and incorporating it into this new book without it being repetitive and boring.

The Next Mrs. Parrish picks up where The Last Mrs. Parrish stopped. Jackson is still in prison, and Amber is still scheming. Daphne is in California living her new life with the girls. Without giving anything away, Daisy Ann is introduced as a character with a vendetta against Amber. Jackson gets out of prison, Daphne brings the girls back home to visit their father, and all of the scheming between the characters is front and center.

This book was well written, and I enjoyed the ending. I wasn’t left with any unanswered questions. It was a satisfying closure. After finishing this book, I discovered there is a prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, The First Shot. I will definitely be reading it. Thanks to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

I think I actually enjoy this novel more than The Last Mrs. Parrish! I was instantly drawn in-- I loved Daisy Ann's character. I did not see some of the twists that were introduced in the novel; however, I love how everything came together at the end. The novel's writing was engaging, the characters were interesting, and there were unpredictable parts! Overall, great book!!

A sequel to one of my favorite books and it did NOT disappoint!

All of the characters are back…and then some. The story follows Daphne, Amber, and Daisy Ann. If you’ve read the first book then you know Daphne and Amber’s relationship. But it took a while to figure out Daisy Ann’s which made the story that much more intriguing. How are all these women connected? And what is Jackson’s true motive?

There is a ton happening in this book. Daphne is trying to raise her two daughters and prepare for Jackson’s release from prison. She is met with a bunch of teenage angst from her oldest Tallulah, who is wanting to hang out with her dad, Jackson. Amber is set on divorcing Jackson and making it on her own… but first needs to steal from him in order to do so. And Daisy Ann wants revenge for what happened to her father.

Overall, it was as great as a sequel could be but I’ve been a Daphne fan and supporter since day 1 so I wished it followed her story a little more. With everything that happened in this book, it almost felt like too much at times but the way it all came together at the end was very well done. I’m a huge fan of Liv Constantine’s writing style. This was an easy story to dive into and picked up very well from the first book.

A lot of reviews are saying to read “The First Shot” before diving into the sequel as that goes more into Amber’s history and I’m sure mentions Daisy Ann. I was a little confused on the inclusion of Daisy Ann and her back story so I’ll definitely have to go back and read it to see if that adds to the overall story.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Liv Constantine for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

What a ride! This book is the follow-up to The Last Mrs. Parrish and gives readers the next chapter in the Daphne, Jackson and Amber saga. Lots of twists packed into this book and it keeps you engaged until the very last paragraph. I liked this book even more than the first one.

I received an ARC of this book from Random House via NetGalley in exchange for my honest feedback. I re-read the first in this series before beginning this one, since I had read the first one quite a while ago. I definitely recommend doing this so the characters are fresh in your mind. Also, it was interesting to re-read the first one after knowing the twist to come. Unfortunately, I did not realize there was a novella in this series also or I would have read that before this one, too. I noticed another reviewer mentioned this book is a standalone, but I disagree with that. Read the others!

Amber & Jackson are two of the most detestable characters in perhaps all of my reading history. When it seems things are going their way, you basically want to throw the book across the room. Also, since I had not read the novella, I was confused at first who Daisy Ann is and what she is doing in the book. But her presence completely makes sense.

I think my one slight complain about this book is that it almost veers into disbelief - how can two people be SO bad? And how can they have so many other people (professionals, no less) fooled? However, I still give this book a 5-star rating as it's just so enjoyable. I am a big fan of the Constantine sisters' writing.

I think this was a great follow up to The Last Mrs. Parrish. Was it unbelievable? Yes, but it was also very entertaining, I loved the twists and turns but the end came out of no where and I wish there was a little more backstory on that…a couple chapters from Jackson’s POV might have helped. Overall a fun, easy read. Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read the advanced copy! 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent twist that keep you gasping. The cliffhanger at the end has me excited for the next book as well.

Having recently read The Last Mrs. Parrish, I was thrilled to read The Next Mrs. Parrish. The Next Mrs. Parrish takes a different turn, in a sort of "don't go into the haunted house" kind of way. I finished this book really quickly because I couldn't put it down. Everything is well researched, from the legal and financial situations to the high end purchases that these characters make. I sincerely hope there is a Mrs. Parish #3!

Thank you to #netgalley and @randomhousepublishinggroup for the ARC.

Wow. What a wild ride! This is definitely my favorite of the Mrs. Parrish series. The twists and turns! 🤯 This book is full of nefarious characters, all trying to get back at each other and double-cross the other... and then some innocent people just getting caught in the middle, getting hurt by the others' selfishness and greed... or are they innocent? 🤔 It's hard to tell who can be trusted!

I highly recommend this book! Such an enthralling and twisty story!

I was super excited to read this sequel, after recently reading the original. I absolutely loved the original, but this one fell a little flat for me. It was almost TOO much cat and mouse to keep track of and I didn’t love how Daphne went back to Jackson at all.

I did like how both Jackson and Amber finally got what they deserved and that Daphne was finally free in the end, but overall the plot was a bit all over the place for me on this one.

So excited to read this follow up! This book ties together the ex wife, new wife and another woman and all the twists and turns. The backstabing and never know whose side to take. Great read! Thanks for the ARC!

Who is playing who? This cat and mouse revenge thriller is a sequel to the wildly popular The Last Mrs. Parrish from a few years ago. It did not disappoint, and I was still eager to find out how the game was going to end for all of the characters. Just when I thought I had the twist figured out, I was surprised. Great follow up. Highly recommend when this is published in June 2024.

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liz Constantine does not disappoint. After reading The First Mrs. Parrish and
enjoying it I knew I had to get my hands on this book. The Next Mrs. Parrish picks up where the first book leaves off. Although this is the case I do not believe that one has to have read the first book to enjoy this read. For me I truly enjoyed the way in which each chapter focused on a specific character. I also enjoyed the plot twists that were uncovered throughout the story. I find this better than reads with a twist at the end. I found myself eager to return to this story each evening. I loved the balance of characters, You had those that you hated but those that you loved and those that were more so “complicated” so you really did not know how to feel about them. This was super enjoyable. A 10 out of 10 and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading like I do:)

I thought this book was a good follow up to The Last Mrs. Parrish - it was a slow read for me and did not keep me on the edge of my seat. I liked how they added in a new perspective making it Daphne, Amber & Daisy and how they all intertwined at the end of the story to make it feel complete. A good read overall :)

Although I constantly kept calling this book by the wrong name, I loved it and think it outshines book #1 in the series. This book was such a page turner and was full of twist after twist. I honestly gave up trying to predict and just started hoping all the bad people got what was coming to them. There were moments that as a mom were terrifying and some that were upsetting thinking how someone could be so awful! A book that has you turning pages and feeling upset for the characters will definitely be a hit this summer. Bravo, Constantine sisters!

More like a 4.5. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of the second book in the Mrs Parrish series in exchange for an honest review. I really liked this one even a little more than the first one. Though I really enjoyed the first one in the series a lot of the twists I could see coming however this one was insanely twisted for sure. I don't want to say too much due to spoilers but definitely loved the path this book took and couldn't put it down. Definitely am anxiously awaiting the sequel! Thanks cliffhangers!
