One of my most anticipated reads of the year Another standout domestic thriller from Liv Constantine! Fast paced and jam packed with twists and turns, the Next Mrs. Parrish pulls you in from page one and does not let go until the end! We follow the dual paths of Amber, Daphne and Daisy Ann through their complex paths for justice and revenge the whole time wondering what the heck just happened!!! Such a good read!

This was a fun and fast paced follow up to the original story. I didn’t really think this book was necessary but it was nice to see the two main villains get what was coming to them!

I read The Last Mrs. Parrish in 2018 and it was one of those books that I just couldn't forget. I wasn't expecting there to be a follow up book, but I am thrilled that there is! This book just sucked me right in and wouldn't let go. I love the story that is being told. I love the way I really dislike some of the characters. I love the twists in the book. I love the satisfying ending.
I have read 3 books by Liv Constantine (The Last Mrs. Parrish, The Senator's Wife, and The Next Mrs. Parrish) and these sisters have quickly become one of my favorite thriller authors. I will definitely be reading more of Liv Constantine in the future.

Liv Constantine is 100% an auto-read author duo for me now!!!
I binged The Next Mrs. Parrish, The Last Shot and immediately started my ARC of The Last Mrs. Parrish and it did not disappoint! This trio should absolutely be read in order and the novella is a must read before reading the newest installment in this series.

I highly recommend not only reading this series but for those that read the first book- it is so worth finishing the storyline especially if you hated Jackson and Amber.
Thank you so so so much to the publisher for my ARC in exchange for my honest review! I cant wait to read the rest of Liv’s backlog and next books coming soon hopefully!

I read the first book, The Last Mrs. Parrish a few years ago while on vacation in Cabo and really enjoyed it. It was a fun, fast read. I was super excited when I saw this one on bookstagram that it had a sequel! I had to read it.
It’s definitely necessary to read the first one before you read the second. It was so long ago that I read it at times I felt like I was missing something because I couldn’t remember all the details from the first one.
This story was told from Daphne, Amber, and Daisy Ann’s perspectives. The dual perspectives were done well. The chapters were straight and to the point. I was slower getting into it until about 60% into it and then I really couldn’t put it down.
One cool aspect I loved was Daisy Ann in Dallas since that’s where I live. I love that she used real locations. It was actually pretty cool. 🤠
The manipulation parts involving Daphne’s kids were a little hard to read, but all in all it was a good read and I enjoyed it. I loved how it was women not giving up and standing up for what is right and taking back ownership of their lives. 💪🏼 I also liked the ending and it left on quite the cliffhanger! #TeamDaphne

The Next Mrs. Parish continues the story of Jackson, Daphne, and Amber. If you haven't read the first book, The Last Mrs. Parish, I would recommend reading it as you will be lost in the previous story lines.
I thought this book was a great sequel to the first one. As soon as I finished the first few pages, I didn't want to put the book down. There were several twists in the book that I didn't see coming. Each chapter has you constantly guessing about what will happen next.
Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for allowing me to read an advanced copy of the book.

Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing and Liv Constantine for this advanced reader copy for an honest review.
A few years after book #1, Daphne and Amber are back in each other's lives when Jackson is released from prison. Daphne had moved far away and started a new life with her daughters, now being free of Jackson. Amber is still working on climbing the elite social ladder she has always wanted, while "raising" her son Jax. Amber's previous lives are brought to the present when she is outed by Daisy Ann, her last husband's daughter, in the middle of an exclusive event.
Amber is still hustling, Jackson is hellbent for control, Daphne is trying to survive and Daisy Ann wants revenge. All have their own motives and the reader is swept up in it all. I recommend reading "The First Shot", the novella prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish for backstory on Amber and Daisy Ann. I finished this book in a few sittings because it kept me enthralled needing to know what is going to happen next!

3.5 ⭐️ I was SO excited to read this because the original book is one of my favorite books of all time!! You HAVE to read the prequel “The First Shot” for this book to make sense.
This book was a complete cat and mouse chase from all characters, each scheming each other and trying to outdo the other.
I did appreciate how all of the storylines came together in the end, but I was slightly disappointment. My jaw didn’t drop the way it did with Last Mrs. Parrish although I was caught off guard with some things.
I don’t really understand why the book is called “The Next Mrs. Parrish” when there really isn’t a “Next” woman… if anything this book was taking the prequel and original and letting the reader know what happened after. If anything I would have called it “The Last OF Mrs. Parrish”
Overall I’m glad I read it and was able to close the Mrs. Parrish story but I wouldn’t say it was better.

The Last Mrs. Parrish was one of the reads that got me through the pandemic; the twists and turns were all I could think about, even when I didn’t have the book in front of me! When I saw that Liv Constantine (the pen name for sisters Lynne and Valerie Constantine) came out with a sequel, I had to get my hands on it. The book is set to come out June 18 and I can’t wait for friends and family to read it, too.
Daphne is the first Mrs. Parrish. She’s Jackson Parrish’s first wife and mother of his two daughters, Tallulah and Bella. In the first book, we learn how terrible he really is (he lies, cheats, manipulates, and abuses everyone in his path—his children included!) and it, unfortunately, doesn’t stop there. After getting Amber—a lying, conniving mistress who weaved her way into Jackson’s life—pregnant, he marries her and Daphne goes far, far away from their old life in Connecticut and starts fresh in California with her mother. Just when she thought she was safe from his wrath across the country (and with Jackson being behind bars and all…), he came back into her life through her daughter, Tallulah, who desperately wanted to spend the summer with her father. Daphne, being the great mother that she is, rents a house near Jackson and Amber’s home (aka their old house) and trouble ensues. The only question that rang through my head throughout the novel was: “What will Daphne do to ensure her daughters safety?”
All the while, Amber is dealing with her own life unraveling. She’s trying to pull one over on Jackson and get the heck away from him, but her past is catching up with her. Namely, in the form of Daisy Ann, who’s father Amber conned, married, and then killed for his fortune. (Be sure to read The First Shot, the prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, to really get the most out of this storyline!) With the help of a private investigator, she’s hunting Amber down to bring her to justice, while Amber is seeking her out just the same. “Will it end in a showdown?” was another thought I had during the Amber/Daisy Ann chapters.
All in all, I thought the story was great. It fell a bit flat during the middle portion but ramped back up again during the ending. I didn’t want to put it down! Thanks so much to NetGalley, Liv Constantine, and Bantam Imprint for the advanced readers copy of this book and the opportunity to share my thoughts.

I read The Last Mrs. Parrish in July of 2020, and it is still one of my all time favorite thrillers to date! You could imagine my excitement when I saw a sequel was in the works! The Next Mrs. Parrish was quite the roller coaster ride, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! There was no shortage of drama throughout this story; there were plenty of twists and turns, some were a little ridiculous, but I ate it up! I'm also so happy with how things ended for Daphne and her girls.
The First Shot is the novella prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish that was released between the two novels. It was just as bing-able snd fast paced! I HIGHLY recommend reading this quick novella before reading the sequel.

There’s another story to tell in the Mrs. Parrish series as Liv Constantine has reunited Daphne and Amber Parrish in the exciting sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish (2017) in The Next Mrs. Parrish coming out June 18.
Daphne is Jackson Parrish’s first wife and mother of his two daughters. He is a scoundrel of a husband. Amber Patterson Parrish was Jackson’s mistress, and the mother of his son. Daphne divorced Jackson and moved to California from Connecticut. Jackson has been in jail serving a term for tax evasion.
Amber has enjoyed living in the 35-room estate with her son Jax and spending money, lots of money. That is about to come to an end as Jackson is getting out of jail, while one of Amber’s schemes from the past is catching up with her.
When one of Daphne’s daughters runs away from home in an attempt to visit her father, Daphne gives in and arranges for a summer vacation in Connecticut. Swearing he is a changed man, Jackson wants to divorce Amber and win Daphne back. Daphne knows he will never change, and she has moved on.
How will Daphne deal with Jackson threatening to take her daughters away? Will she bend to his will? How likely is Amber’s getaway with Jackson’s hidden property going to turn out?
This unputdownable thriller moves quickly, and the twists are shocking, just what readers expect from these authors. Liv Constantine is the pen name for Lynne and Valerie Constantine who spend hours plotting their novels using Facebook and email as they live three states apart.
My review will be posted on Goodreads starting April 10, 2024.
I would like to thank Bantam, an imprint of Random House, and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in return for an objective review.

The Last Mrs Parrish is one of the books that got me into reading and I was so excited for the sequel. Unfortunately, this just fell flat for me. The ending was good, but the build up was meh.

This is a twisted read! Had me from the first page to the last. Loved the characters, the good nd the evil! They play well off each other. You either love them or hate them. Great storyline. I was given an advanced reader copy of this well written book by NetGalley and I am freely sharing my review.

The Next Mrs. Parrish
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I thought “The Last Mrs. Parrish” ended really well and closed it off. So, I was a little surprised when I heard of this second book and if I’m being honest, nervous if it could hold a candle to the first one. But let me tell you, the way they write this storyline and characters will blow you away. The intensity in which she writes Jackson Parrish’s manipulative, cruel and spiteful nature is something else. You really don’t know who to trust/believe through out the whole book but the end gives you the answers and closure you need.
Thank you NetGalley, Liv Constantine and Bantam Imprint for the advanced readers copy of this book and the opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions.

Wow! I absolutely loved The Next Mrs Parrish! Although you can read it as a stand-alone I highly recommend you first read The Last Mrs Parrish. It’s not often you enjoy a sequel as much or more than the prequel but this book did it for me. The writing did not disappoint- every chapter ended with a cliffhanger that made you want to keep reading. The story of Jackson, Daphne and Amber come full circle in the most gripping way with the new character, Daisy Ann, playing an important role! Thank you Liv Constantine and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book before its debut! It’s a 5⭐️ for me!

Daphne and Amber are forced back into each other’s lives in the sequal to The Last Mrs. Parrish. Jackson is fresh out of prison and has some pretty conflicting feelings about his current wife, who is bleeding him dry financially and his ex-wife, who he regrets divorcing.
It doesn’t take long for these three characters to start plotting against each other. Will the cycle of manipulation, abuse, and delusion win this time or will the characters end up getting what they rightfully deserve.
This was the complicated plot that I desperately wanted from the prequel. There were some reoccurrings theme, but the level of deceit and deception was bigger, bolder, and deeper.
I read both books back to back, but I don’t feel you would have to read The Last Mrs. Parrish to fully understand what is going on in The Next Mrs. Parrish. The book does a good job of giving enough details to not leave you wondering how the characters ended up in their current predicament.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book and feel the ending was perfect!
Thank you to Netgalley and Random House for the advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was a delightfully twisty book, full of unexpected turns. Amber Parrish's husband and Daphne's ex-husband, Jackson is in prison. When he gets released, he swears he's a changed man, but they both know he cant' be trusted. Amber leaves him and schemes for ways to get his money. Daphne returns to town so their daughters can see him and gets trapped into moving back into the house while he accuses her of being an unfit parent. What follows is full of twists and turns with a satisfying ending. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

I was so excited to read the sequel to The Last Mrs. Parish. I was eager to find out what happened the Daphne now that she’s divorced from her mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive ex husband. And Jackson! Is he still in prison? Is Amber the new it girl?
I love that the story gave a recap of the first book without giving too many details. I reread the first book to prep, but I know others will appreciate the short summaries slipped in naturally.
Overall, I enjoyed a lot of the story. The twists were clever and I was mostly satisfied with the ending. However, the characters all think they are so clever and they make some of the dumbest choices. I was getting so frustrated that they weren’t realizing what what happening. Especially Amber- she’s so insufferable and doesn’t think past the step she’s on and slips up too much. I know this is part of the story, but I was so ready to be done with her and Jackson.

When I found out that there was going to be sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish, I immediately went to NetGalley to see if it was available. I was delighted that it was and could not wait to dive back into Amber and Daphne’s world. I was so pleasantly surprised that elements from The First Shot—the prequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish—were included. For the best experience, definitely recommend reading both before this long-awaited sequel.
Unlike The Last Mrs. Parrish which follows Daphne in part one and Amber in part two, in The Next Mrs. Parrish the reader is taken through alternating POVs of Daphne, Amber, and someone from Amber’s past (seriously be sure to read The First Shot!) through a series of twists, turns, and backstabbing that was just chefs kiss. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing a glimpse of a stronger Daphne and someone a more wicked Amber.
This is sure to be another favorite book club pick of the year!
Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC!

This book lived up to the hype. The first one had me so mad and this one followed in its footsteps. I wanted to scream and stop reading, but also I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. And of course the twists that you never see coming. I'm so glad we got more of the Mrs Parrishes! I'm hoping this is actually a trilogy because I still want another.
