Superb as expected! The Liv Constantine sisters always deliver! The Last Mrs. Parrish flowed flawlessly into The Next Mrs. Parrish and prospective readers who may not have read the previous books leading up to this one will be pleased to know that the Liv Constantine sisters provided adequate background information for all readers to remain on one accord. The integration of new characters, shocking twists, nail-biting mysteries, and sweet revenge truly made this long anticipated story worth the wait.

This book was a page turner from beginning to end. Amber Parrish has survived a lot. And when her husband finally gets out of jail he promises he is a changed man. Is he. Can she trust him. Definitely was action packed towards the end with some twists I didn’t see coming. Would highly recommend. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC! I really liked the first book in this series and was interested to see what they were going to do with a part two. In short, I found the story interesting overall but I don’t really think the story warranted a sequel- I found myself a bit bored in the middle and the ending was a bit predictable.

Thank you NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group for an ARC of The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constatine. I absolutely loved the first book. I devoured it in just a few days. To me, this book started off a little slow. But the multiple POVs made the story engaging and by the time I was 50% into the book, I couldn't put it down. I had to stay up late to finish it. Overall, this was a fun read with some great twisty parts and an absolutely satisfying ending.

I was pumped when I got approved to review this ARC. At first, I was worried since it's been awhile since I read The last Mrs. Parrish and I actually haven't read The First Shot, which has been recommended by many other reviewers. At first it was a bit difficult to tie in how the characters came together, but eventually the story made sense. (this is likely because I haven't read 'The First Shot').
In this book, Jackson, Daphne, and Amber are all back. Jackson is fresh out of prison scheming new ways to get even with his ex Daphne and current wife Amber. Amber knows her time as 'Mrs Parrish' is coming to an end and intends to get as rich as possible while it lasts. Daphne is trying to stay as far away as possible with her two daughters. Worlds collide and a few new players are introduced into the mix.
This book was full of twists and turns and was extremely entertaining. I was glued to my iPad.
Thanks to Netgalley and Random House/ Ballantine books for the ARC in exchange for my review.

This was an interesting read, I really loved “The Last Mrs. Parrish” so I think I may have had unrealistic expectations for this book. I was a big fan of Daphne and book one, so I was really glad they brought her back as a powerful character. The ending was also a good wrap up in my opinion. One critique for me would be the fact that this book had a few too many storylines going at once. If I had to put the book down for more than a day or two, I found myself having a hard time getting back into it, and figuring out what story we were in at what time.
Fun fact that I didn’t know when I read other books by this author is that Liv Constantine is a pen name for two sisters, named Lynn and Valerie, how cool!

The sequel every thriller reader has been waiting for! "Spoilers ahead"
Jackson's days behind bars are limited much to no one's surprise. Daphne is forced to visit her ex when her daughter, Tallulah, is doing her best to keep her relationship with her father, resulting in her attempting to run away from home. As the reader, you receive perspectives from Amber, Daphne and Daisy Ann, and there is a lot going on. It was very quick read with short chapters shifting between the three women as their stories intertwine. Honestly, I felt like there was so many plot points that were an absolute reach this time around. This novel got muddied as Jackson looks to get back with Daphne. I get Jackson always having someone in his pocket but really, the judge giving him full time access to his kids when he has been out of jail for like 30 days and no one bats an eye? Also, the fact that he fell for Daphne's friendship with Meredith and persuading him that 'oh yes she's changed her tone about you!' For such an intelligent, sneaky man suddenly he lost his touch so quickly when he kept Daphne a prisoner for years. As entertaining as this novel was, I had expected so much more from it.

This book was AMAZING!
Between Daphne, Amber and the new character, you won’t wanna miss this one. Thrills, suspense, and the twists and turns are phenomenal.
If you read the Last Mrs Parrish, you know that Daphne got away. Amber is with Jackson and well….
Get ready for another star character to shake things up and blow you away!!!

Oh. My. Gosh. So freaking good. Loved this book so dang much. I’m a thriller girlie and this one did not disappoint one bit.

This was my very first ARC read! So glad it was for one of my longtime fav authors too! I happen to come across The First Shot on Kindle Unlimited before I received this and as I was reading this book I was glad I did. While The Next Mrs. Parrish went into a little of the back story of Amber and Daisy Ann the previous novella had all the details.
The Next Mrs. Parrish was a great follow up to The Last Mrs. Parrish. I was curious where Liv Constantine would take us in this book. It felt the last book seemed to have an ending. I will say I've never had such emotion towards characters in a book as I did this one! At one point I could feel straight anger towards Jackson and Amber! I was so mad with their manipulation and corruption that I wanted to lay the book down. I was so glad I didn't because the ending more than made up for it!
I also loved having the 3 main characters telling their stories in real time throughout the book.
Definitely a must read and I expect to be an instant hit for all The Last Mrs. Parrish fans! The Next Mrs. Parrish did not disappoint!

I’ll start by saying I absolutely was obsessed with the first Mrs Parrish book. It had one of the best twists ever. I’ve been so excited to read this one, which I did in one sitting. It was very good and I loved how it tied together with the prequel story about Amber. My only complaints were maybe it had too many twists—and Daphne seemed to be a bit too naive. Other than that, it was highly entertaining and I would recommend reading!

I first read a book by Liv Constantine when I found The Last Mrs. Parrish in a used bookstore. I was hooked by their writing and have since read all of their books. They are quick reading books that keep you intrigued as to what could happen next. I was excited for the chance to read The Next Mrs. Parrish thanks to Net Galley and Random House Publishing. The main character Jackson is a sociopath. He is in prison for tax fraud. He manipulates women by supposedly loving them yet threatening them. Daphne is the first Mrs Parrish who flees with their two daughters after their divorce. Amber is the next much younger wife who like Jackson is a con artist. Daisy Ann is the third woman who you think how does she connect to the story. It’s hard to tell the plot without giving away spoilers. It’s the kind of book to just relax and enjoy after reading a boring 500 page book for your book club. So many twists and turns! Wow!

The Next Mrs. Parrish was an exciting thriller full of unexpected twists and turns. I have not read The First Shot novella, but wish I would have so I was more familiar with Amber’s backstory because this book refers to her past quite a bit.
I enjoyed having each character’s POV throughout the story and how we seamlessly transitioned from one to the next.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed this book and loved the way the story came together at the end, but felt it was a bit of a slower pace than I would have liked.
Thank you to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group, and the authors for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. Publication date: June 18, 2024.

The story picks right back up where The Last Mrs. Parrish ends. With many twists and turns it turned out to be a great book!
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for an ARC

Daphne, Amber and Jackson are back. I was beyond thrilled to see where their lives would go. This time we have a three way revenge plan going on with help from Daisy, who has her own agenda. At times a little too predictable but a nice conclusion.
Thanks Netgalley for the ARC, always a pleasure to give back my opinion.

I absolutely love Liv Consantine and their books. The Next Mrs. Parrish doesn't compare to the first one (The Last Mrs. Parrish) but I still enjoyed it. Some parts were a bit slow and I wanted to scream at the characters "WHY?!?!?!" The stupid behavior irritated me for a good chunk of the book. I would say it was suspenseful but not in the what will happen next sense. This book was somewhat predictable regarding the ending and how things turned out. I'd say stressed is a better way to describe my emotions when reading this. My stomach was in knots and I just had to get to the conclusion. I would recommend reading the first book and even the prequel before reading this book. It would be good as a standalone too but understanding the back story elevates this one.

I can’t say why exactly but the characters in this book ALL annoyed me so much this time around. There’s so many twists and turns that left me feeling like “when will it ever end?”
I LOVED the first book, didn’t read the novella, and didn’t love this one but liked it enough to keep reading. I guess the thing for me is The Last Mrs Parrish didn’t seem like a book that needed a sequel. But I’m glad this one ends the way it does.
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for gifting me early access to this title in exchange for my honest review.

4.5⭐️
I read this in ONE day!! I couldn’t put it down! The suspense had me holding my breath!
Since the ending of The Last Mrs Parrish, I have been so excited to see where the authors would take the story, hopeful that the sequel would be as great as the original. Well, the authors definitely delivered!
The story starts as Jackson has served his prison time and has come home to Amber and Jax. Daphne has moved her and the girls to Cali, and she is trying to move on in her life. We quickly find out that Amber and Jackson are divorcing. Daphne is having trouble convincing Tallulah that she has their best interest at heart by keeping them from their dad. She makes the difficult decision to go back to CT for the summer so the girls can see their dad. What comes next is a wild roller coaster and suspenseful tale of manipulation, conniving and deceit as Jackson tries to get Daphne and his girls back.
The authors are so great at developing the characters. I literally despised Jackson and Amber and truly was not happy with Daphne through most of the book! I really loved the side story and the character of Daisy Ann. She was definitely someone I would want to be friends with! I had a perfect clear picture in my head of what she looked like and how she acted. And I’m so glad she didn’t end up being another evil character! Also have to love the great friend that is Meredith!
I had read some early reviews that they should have just ended it after the first book but I highly disagree!! The twists and turns were frequent and unpredictable. The ending was satisfying and sad at the same time. Overall it was a great story that I couldn’t wait to get to each next chapter. Highly recommend.
(Thank you to the Authors and to RandomHouse for providing me with an advanced copy via NetGalley. )

The last Mrs. Parrish is a top domestic thriller for me so imagine my glee when I saw there was a sequel!
Justice is served, plot lines are closed, and we have the perfect ending for our Bishop Harbor characters.
This was a quick paced, three way cat and mouse chasing, twisty page turner that I binged in less than 24hrs.
I’d read a third one!

I reread the first book, so I would remember the characters, twists, etc. I initially gave the first book four stars, but after rereading, I gave it 5 stars because I appreciated the twists so much more. The sequel was even better than the first! I have read a lot of books in this genre since I originally read the first book and I really have a better understanding of what makes a good thriller/mystery to me. This twists and turns in this book were amazing! I loved Daisy as a character and how she initially seemed like a side plot. However, the way she was weaved into the story with Daphne and Jackson. I assumed Jackson would have to be out of the picture so Daphne could live her life. Awesome book! I will highly recommend it!
