Thank you to NetGalley and Random House for providing me with an advance reader copy of this highly anticipated sequel.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first book in this series, "The Last Mrs. Parrish," and was excited to learn that a sequel was forthcoming. The story resumes several months after the events of the first book, with Amber and Jackson continuing to display their insufferable behavior. Daphne's character elicited even greater exasperation from me this time around, and a new character named Daisy Ann is introduced.
One of the strengths of this novel is the duplicity exhibited by all the characters, which effectively maintains a sense of suspense and intrigue throughout the narrative. The plot twists are skillfully executed, and the conclusion is highly satisfying.
However, I must express some reservations regarding the believability of the storyline. While it is certainly entertaining, certain aspects strike me as far-fetched and unrealistic.
Overall, this sequel offers an enjoyable reading experience, albeit with some reservations concerning its plausibility. It will induce sone anxiety and keep you on the edge of your seat. I recommend this as a great summer read!

It fell short and I really wanted it to be edited. The dialogue between….well….everyone was just off. In the original book it just flowed so well and kept me in the edge of my seat. But I had to force myself to keep reading this one. And the way they had the Texas talk…drove me up a wall. Honestly it felt like different people wrote this.

The Next Mrs. Parrish picks up a little after where The Last Mrs. Parrish leaves off. Daphne and her girls are living in California with her mom, Jackson is about to be released from prison, and Amber is living her life in the Parrish mansion.
After the way Daphne had been treated by Jackson, she is happy to be living her life far away from him but their oldest daughter starts acting out because she’s missing her dad. Daphne finally decides to let the girls see their father again and of course things go wrong. It’s kind of a repeat of Jackson and Amber and their evil scheming which grew a bit tiresome.
There is another point of view from a new character, Daisy Ann. I liked her perspective except with her being from Texas, the phrases and lingo was a little bit overdone. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life and know very few people who seriously speak that way. I was interested to see how all the characters would be connected though.
The ending is tied up nicely and you aren’t really left with any questions. It wasn’t my favorite book of the year and I skimmed some of the wordier parts but it also wasn’t terrible.

So much fun! If you read the first book, you will like this one. It is told with the point of view of three characters and you keep wondering how they will cross paths with each other. I loved that this was still a fairly easy read and I would say it was a light thriller. It has the mystery and suspense without being too twisted.

I was SO excited to get approved for this one! I loved the first book (The Last Mrs. Parrish), and had no idea a sequel would be coming, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Right off the bat, I loved how the authors reminded the reader of who the characters are and what happened at the end of the first book. Too often I forget exactly what happened and get confused, so these callbacks helped remind me.
Reading this book, told through Daphne, Amber, and Daisy Ann's point of views, I found myself actively rooting against Amber, while also loving her chapters. It's not often I find myself hating a main character so much, but she was so well written that even when I hated her actions I needed to know what she would do next. Each of the main women had such a good storyline, and I loved how they intertwined.
Overall I thought this was a great sequel. I was nervous it wouldn't live up to how much I liked the first book, but it did a great job of introducing a new challenge for Daphne as she had to deal with Jackson and his relationship with their children/her. I won't spoil anything but I would highly recommend reading and you will be on the edge of your seat!
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for this ARC!

If you enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish, but wanted a nice wrap up to the lives of Daphne and Amber.. then you should pick this up now! Highly recommend reading these in order of publication to get the full picture. Adding in Daisy's POV really added to the story and I thought I might be left with an ending I was going to hate. I was wrong! The ending was fantastic and I enjoyed this page turner for all that it had to offer.

thank you netgalley for the ARC! I’m a big Liv Constantine fan and The Next Mrs. Parrish did not disappoint. I was so happy to hear there would be a continuation of this story. After reading The Last Mrs. Parrish, and The First Shot novella, I knew there needed to be more to finish this story out. I loved the addition of a new character and how she tied into the Parrish family drama. The twists and turns of the book kept me reading. If it wasn’t for my busy lifestyle, I could have easily divulged this book in one sitting. If you are looking for a good family drama, psychological thriller, pick this one up, out June 18th!

Love love loved this. Went right with the prior book and loved the continuation of characters and story lines.

I enjoyed this book thoroughly. I loved the character development, you could get a great sense of who they each were, whether you liked them or not. I thought they were great. .The twist and turns kept me reading, not wanting to put this book down. Liv Constantine is a master at the twists and when you think you have it figured out, you realize you don't. I would suggest that you read "The First Shot" before reading this one, it's a great tie in to this book. I love books that get you hooked right away, have a twist or two at the end, and that you can't put down and this one fits perfectly!

I loved the Last Mrs Parrish and was hopeful I would love this one as well - I was right, I did! This book had so many twists and turns, it was like a carnival ride. You couldn't predict what was going to happen, and I love that. Liv Constantine is a force to be reckoned with!

Daphne, the ex-Mrs. Parrish, managed to escape her ex-husband with her two daughters, all the way to California from Connecticut. Daphne has been working hard to heal her relationships with her mother and her girls, and finally exploring the idea of another man in her life. She long ago decided she's never go back, but never say never.
Amber, the current Mrs. Parrish is a character I loved to dislike, along with husband Jackson Parrish. She is a gold digger, all about image and no substance. Her indifference about her young son was horrid. She sent her husband off to prison for tax evasion, and while he was incarcerated, she lived a life of leisure in the mansion with tons of hired help. But once the despicable Jackson is released from prison, things really get hairy.
Dark and shocking events of Amber's past surface, with more vendetta's and intrigues. I particularly enjoyed the ending - quite satisfying!
Thanks to NetGalley, Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine - Bantam Publishing and Liv Constantine for the ARC.

I read the first one and was so excited to read this one!! Just do yourself a favor, read them both now!!

I really enjoy tales of the super rich behaving badly and getting their eventual comeuppance. This novel was a perfect fit! It was a delight to dive back into the worlds of Daphne, Daisy Ann, and of course Amber and Jackson. I never expected there would be a sequel to the first novel, so this was a real treat. I recommended reading the first book in the series, but this book would be an excellent Summer choice. It’s very soapy, dramatic, and fun!
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing the book for my review.

I really enjoyed Liv Constantine's first novel in this series, The Last Mrs. Parrish, and this follow up novel was pretty good. There's tons of drama and a lot of domestic suspense. In general, I'm not a fan of series, but I love dramatic suspense novels and this didn't disappoint on the drama front. I listened to The Last Mrs Parrish on audiobook and I enjoyed that format. For this book, I read it and while it was action-packed with horrible characters that you love to hate, I want able to get into it quite as much as I was able to on audio with book 1 in the series.
Daphne is living happily divorced and in California with her two daughters, Bella and Tallulah, while her ex husband is serving time for tax evasion in a Connecticut federal prison. While on a school trip to Washington, DC, Tallulah runs off in an attempt to visit her father, Jackson Parrish, who she misses terribly. Unbeknownst to Daphne, Tallulah has been corresponding with Jackson's second wife, the woman who so helpfully took Daphne's place in an unhappy (to say the least) marriage. When Tallulah returns from her impromptu attempt to see her dad, Daphne realizes that she has to find a way to deal with Jackson for the sake of if their children.
There's so much going on in this book it just felt a little overwhelming. It also won't make 100% sense unless You've listened to Constantine's 0.5 book in the series that is an audible original. There were a few new characters that were added to the mix and while they all played a role in one another story, it was just a LOT going on. Overall though, if you love dramatic over-the-top stories about rich people behaving badly, than this is a series you'll love. The drama comes in spades! Thank you too #netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. ⭐⭐⭐✨

Thank you Random House Ballantine and NetGalley for the ARC!
I was so excited to be selected to receive this ARC in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely devoured the first Mrs. Parrish novel because of the twisty story and diabolical characters.
The sequel, while strong on its own, was able to tie up a lot of loose ends from the first novel. I appreciated specific characters getting what was coming to them 😉😉😉. Overall a really good continuation of the story!
Thank you again for the ARC!

The Next Mrs. Parrish was a quick and satisfying sequel to The Last Mrs. Parrish.
Jackson is fresh out of prison for tax evasion and ready to get rid of the horrible & manipulative Amber so he can devise a plan to get Daphne back. Daphne is living in California with her daughters who are too young to understand why their dad is gone and they miss him - which leads Daphne back to Connecticut in an attempt to save her relationship with her girls. What follows is Jackson’s outlandish attempt to convince Daphne that he’s a changed man and wants to reunite their family. Add in Daisy Ann who claims Amber murdered her father and is looking for revenge. There are so many schemes and twists woven seamlessly together, it’ll keep those pages turning fast!
Thanks to NetGalley, Liv Constantine, and Random House Publishing Group - Ballantine for the eARC of The Next Mrs. Parrish in exchange for an honest review.

A great sequel to The Other Mrs. Parrish - both are a must read for fans of domestic thrillers. Will be recommending as a perfect beach read this summer.

If you did not read “The First Shot” which was a short novella after “The Last Mrs. Parrish” MAKE SURE YOU DO!
In this book, we are following Daphne, Amber and Daisy Ann! I honestly had not read the description of this book but I of course had to read it after reading the first one! I had so much fun reading this book! It was very well written and it left me on the edge of my seat!
Would 100% recommend this!
Thank you netgalley for the ARC read ◡̈

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC! In this sequel, we follow Amber as she continues in her efforts to be rich and stay rich while dealing with Jackson since he went to prison. We also get to see what Daphne and the girls are up to, when Tallulah decides she wants to see her dad and they visit for the summer. What could go wrong? This book is a whirlwind of twists and turns. It goes through muliple perspectives which I enjoyed. I found this to be more fast paced than The Last Mrs. Parrish. If you haven’t read the prequel The First Shot, you definitely should before reading this one. All in all, this book was a hit and I recommend to all thriller lovers!

Ohhhhhh this was a good one! I cannot get enough of Amber's antics and Daphne's badass personality! I had no idea Liv Constantine was writing a sequel and was thrilled for this one to come out. The drama, the twists, and suspense are comparable to the first one! This is truly a book that is impossible to put down.
And spoiler alert..... I think there is gonna be a third...
