I was ready to throw this book across the room after about 120 pages in. It's been a while since I've read The Last Mrs. Parrish and The First Shot, so I had forgotten just how much I hate Amber. Oh my goodness, she is the absolute worst in this book. But, I powered through and finished because I'm not a quitter. My persistence paid off because the ending was oh so satisfying! Jackson and Amber had the best ending I could have imagined for them. I don't want to give too much away, but suffice it to say that you won't regret reading this one.

It is extremely hard to write a sequel to a best seller. Even harder to write one that comes even close to being as good as the first. I have to say this book may even have been more enjoyable than the first!

It was a thriller from beginning to end but this time you knew who you were rooting for. My heart was racing through most of the book. I wanted so badly to just flip to the end and see what happened but I didn’t! I made it through and I am so glad I took my time reading this one. Every chapter feels important to the story line. This isn’t something you can skim and understand you get amazing detail and depth though it all.

The characters growth or development is extremely evident from book one. The new characters added were a beautiful edition. And I adored the ending.

I think this book was beautifully done actually hope this is the end of this series because it was such a perfect way to end the story. However I look forward to reading other things from Liv constantine in the future!!

Thanks NetGallery for an early copy of this book. I love the author, I have read other books from her before so this was an easy choice to want to read. The book was also recommended to me by a friend as well who had read the first one. I am probably one of the few who jumped right in and read this first and will go backwards and read the others for the fun backstories.
This book was fabulously fun. I loved the characters Daphne the ex wife Amber the current wife and Jackson the husband. When Jackson got out of jail for tax fraud he wanted his old family back with his ex wife and kids and the lengths he went through to make that happen. The stories were twisty, Jackson pulled nasty tricks to get his way. You constantly were routing for Daphne who went through everything from being drugged to having her children taken from her, while you routed for them to come out with a win. Amber on the other hand was sneaky and despicable. You hoped her little boy made it out unscathed as you just waited for that shoe to drop on her.
I highly recommend reading this book and I cannot wait to enjoy more books from this author soon! #netgallery

For a while, this book read a little like The Last Mrs. Parrish with the Daphne and Jackson storyline, but the Amber/Daisy Ann storyline was new and interesting. The end was thrilling and very satisfying bringing my rating to 5 stars.

Wow. This book. I honestly loved it as much as I did the first one. Such a good story, and very well written. I don't want to give too much away to spoil the book for anyone else, but if you read the first one, this is a must read. It's nice to see what the outcome is for Daphne, Amber (Lana), and Jackson. A reminder that karma always comes back around - no matter how long its been. :)

The Next Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine is the second book in the Mrs. Parrish series, and it will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Although I never read the other books in this series, this book seemed like a standalone as it never seemed like I was missing any backstory points.

Amber is perhaps even striving and conniving than she was in the first book. And, Daphne—who has successfully escaped to California? Well, she gets lured back to Bishops Harbor when her older daughter misses her father. A new character—Daisy Ann—is introduced, and it took a while for her role to be understood, but eventually her story connects with the others. I found this sequel interesting in the ways in which these character’s lives play out. There were some intriguing twists, including one that made me gasp. It’s a quick and fun read, as long as you can stomach reading about domestic abuse. Amber and Daphne Parrish are both back in this sequel. Daphne is making a new life in California with her daughters while Amber takes over as the new Mrs. Parrish but not quite fitting in with Jackson in prison. Daphne is forced back to Bishops Harbor for her girls to reconnect with Jackson. This one was so slow, I was tempted to give up a few times but stuck it out because that's how I felt with the first book as well. There is so much planning and conniving in this story and you just hate the villains that much more.

What a great thriller this was. If you haven"t read book one don't worry the author will get you caught up in the first few chapters.
Jackson Parrish is released from prison. His current wife is Amber and his ex-wife is Daphne. Daphne wants nothing to do with him but Amber is hoping he can make things better and have financial securement. Unfortunately, Amber has some enemies other own and it becomes a complex of games between all. There is a double and triple crossing goin going on. The are all within the small town of Bishop Harbor. Amber's life ends. up crumbling and she has no money as it was all confiscated by the government, Even as Amber is trying to get back at her enemies it ends up backfiring on her, Daphne came back to Bishop Harbor with her daughter because Jackson is there. Jackson has other plans which are. very deceiving for her and Amber and does not want anything to do with his daughter. Will Amber and Daphne be able to work out their problems and is there going to be a third Mrs. Parrish?

I was chosen as an ARC reader for this book. My honest opinion is I enjoyed this book. It was easy to read and kept me engaged. The author told the story from 3 different perspective, and I found myself reading through one perspective to get back to another.

The characters you love to hate are back and as despicable as ever! Everyone is lying, plotting and planning with and against each other for the ultimate revenge! Who will come out on top and who will get their just desserts? Yes it is definitely worth the read!

I was sooo excited for this sequel that I reread the original and listened to the prequel. WOW. Liv Constantine did not disappoint with The Next Mrs. Parrish. Five stars. We’ve got our same despicable villains but there is a new champion in the mix too besides our original favorite. #nospoilers

WOW! Let me start off by saying that I absolutely loved the first book (The Last Mrs. Parrish), so I when I saw the announcement of a sequel, I was beyond excited!

This book far surpassed my expectations. I loved reading the point of views from three different characters, allowing me to truly have insight into all aspects of the story. The writing was absolutely phenomenal. This book was filled with shocking twists, suspense, & characters you will love to hate!

I highly recommend reading this one as well as the first! They both will not disappoint!

Okay, this book can't hold a candle to the first one, but it did pretty well.

I loved picking up after Jackson got out of jail. That was so well done. The new intro of a older character was also amazing. I never could have guessed that Dasiy Ann would become so important to the story line like she was!

The twist near the end had me GASPING. I was not expecting it at all, and once again, the book did a great job at throwing me for a loop!

This book left much to be desired. Despite my curiosity about Daisy Ann's fate and the wellbeing of Daphne's children, enduring Amber and Jackson's insufferable behavior was a challenge. I really enjoyed the first novel several years ago but maybe my reading tastes have changed and I just didn't have any desire to finish it.

I think that in order to enjoy this book you must first read "The Last Mrs Parrish" Daphne and Amber are back. Daphne has left her abusive husband, who is in jail for tax evasion, and has moved across the country with her 2 daughters. Amber has found some hidden diamonds and is planning her escape. When their father gets out of jail, his daughters want to visit him, much against their mother's advice. Although he is charming to them, he is still up to his old tricks and drugs the mother. Things go down hill from there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first book and was so excited to see a sequel! Was dying to know how everything played out with each of the characters. I was hooked to my kindle with every twist and turn through out the story.

Daphne does it again. I loved how the book in between The First Shot has characters that come into play. I would recommend reading it before, but if you don’t it will still be a great story. I just loved knowing what happened and then continued. The Last Mrs. Parrish was my favorite book and the sequel was just as good. 5 stars!
