I think my students will enjoy this one. A twisty entertaining tale of revenge and justice. This will open up discussions on what is the difference and how much you would do to accomplish either.

Daphne, Amber, and Jackson are back…. And given how much I disliked two of those three characters in The First Mrs. Parrish, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this one. However, while a sequel didn’t feel all together necessary, it ended up being an entertaining read!

This book picks up shortly after the first, with Jackson finishing his stint in prison for tax evasion while Daphne does her best to heal from years of abuse and Amber remorselessly lives her best life. When Daphne‘s oldest daughter runs away to reunite with Jackson, and their lives become intertwined once more. This kicks off endless schemes, betrayals, twists, and turns. We also get a fantastic new character in Daisy Ann, a strong and successful Texan woman, seeking revenge.

There’s a lot to like about this book, including a quick pace and a satisfying ending. In some places, the plot feels forced, relying on well-timed coincidences to wrap up loose ends, but if you can let that go and just be along for the ride, I think you’ll enjoy it.

I thought that this book was really good! I wish I would have read the first book in the series to refresh my memory on characters and the overall plot, but enough was shared that I found myself immersed in their world again. I thought that the book was well paced, and the character storylines were so interesting. I was cheering so hard for Daphne and Daisy Ann. Looking forward to the third!! What a cliffhanger. Wow, WOW WOW!! I loved The Next Mrs. Parrish! It was so easy to jump back in with these characters and I HOPE there is a third book in the series. All the applause for Liv Constantine!

I have been a big fan of the Mrs. Parrish series and this one was just as exciting. Amber, Daphne, and Jackson are all back together again in a thrilling, twisty, turny novel that keeps you guessing and wondering "who do I trust" the entire time.

Justice is served… and it feels so good. I devoured “The Last Mrs. Parrish” so I truly couldn’t believe my luck when I scored an advanced reader copy of the sequel, publishing this June.

I was immediately sucked right back into Jackson and Amber’s twisted deceit and games. You’ll find yourself searching for the truth and for Daphne and Daisy Ann to come out unscathed, but don’t be surprised if you get tricked a time or two by who’s tricking who. I definitely gasped more than once at a chapter ending.
My only regret about reading this one is that I couldn’t read it fast enough.

Definitely read the prequel short story, “The First Shot” before June if you haven’t and prepare to excitedly await “The Next Mrs. Parrish”’s pub date.

Liv Constantine is one of my favorite authors. When I got this ARC of The Next Mrs. Parrish, I decided to go back and re-read The Last Mrs. Parish to refresh my memory. I am glad that I did since I had forgotten a lot of the first book and was able to enjoy it before I delved into the sequel, which was just as good as the original. It pulled me in from the first page and i was not disappointed!

Wow. Just wow. Everytime you think there couldn't be another twist, they just keep coming anf coming and coming. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, because it did get a little tiring after awhile. But a great ending to this sequel.

I loved the Last Mrs. Parrish so I was super excited to read this one! Great book- easy read filled with great characters you love to hate! Many twists that I never suspected- it definitely kept me on my toes and I could not stop reading. Quite a rollercoaster ride this book was! This did not pull me in like a thriller should. Too slow. I also didn't like the writing. Not much more to say unfortunately.

Amber, Jackson and Daphne are back!

Jackson is in jail and Amber is running out of money. She finds Jackson’s secret hidden in his boat - diamonds.

Amber comes across her past when she has a run in with Daisy Ann, her dead ex-husbands daughter.

Daphne is coming back to California after Tallulah runs away to go see her father.

Jackson is released from jail, Amber is trying to escape her past, and Daphne is in the crossfire.
Amber is using Jackson to take revenge on Daisy Ann and Jackson is using Amber to get back at Daphne for taking his daughters. They’re both even more conniving and manipulative than the 1st book.

A lot of action, thrill, and secrets throughout the book. Could I have lived without this sequel? Yes, but it was still a great, quick read. I like the authors writing style and all of the plot twists. Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, you get thrown for a loop. The ending was wrapped up nicely and truly “what goes around, comes around.”

What a fun and entertaining sequel to an already amazing book! Was it needed? Probably not. Did I absolutely enjoy every second of it? Yup!

This is the 2nd Mrs. Parrish book by Liv Constantine. BOTH books are phenomenal. Daphne and her daughters go through the madness of controlling Jackson once again. I felt all of the emotions and stayed up late into the night to finish this wonderful book. Enjoy the ride.

The second book in this series put Daphne back under Jackson’s control and it was a little intense for me at times! Lots of controlling, infuriating behaviors! Amber continued in her conniving role. I didn’t enjoy this as much as the first, but thought it was well-written.

A thrilling sequel to The Last Mrs Parrish. This book will keep you wanting more of the twisted family entanglements of Amber, Daphne, and Jackson. Is it as good as the original..,,no. I didn’t think there was a chance this book would be as good as The Last Mrs. Parrish…boy was I wrong. In my opinion it was even better!!! The stories of Daphne and Amber continue with some crazy twists. Do not miss this one! Thanks to NetGalley for the chance to read and review this title.

I wasn’t too sure about the first 70%. It had gone the way I had predicted. But the last 30% was a pleasant surprise! Enjoyed the twists and turns.

I was excited to read The Next Mrs Parrish and it lived up to its hype. It was a quick read that kept me on the edge of my seat as I read about Daphne, Amber, and Daisy Anne. The characters were not very likeable, but I found myself wanting to keep reading to find out what happened next. Thank you netgalley for the ARC!

The Last Mrs. Parrish might be my favorite thriller. It's definitely what got me into reading this genre.
I thought following it up was a tall order, but The Next Mrs. Parrish was a solid read.
It took a bit to see where things were headed, but it was an absolute crazy ride once they got there.
Good balance of twists. Heavy dose of sociopath behavior. If you liked the first I definitely recommend giving this one a shot.
