I've loved all of the previous stories from the Finlay Donovan series! I couldn't wait to listen to this, and it did not disappoint. It was a fun ride, full of twists and turns! I would definitely recommend this to fans for the previous Finlay Donovan stories!

Finlay and Vero are at it again! The 4th installment of their adventure takes them to Atlantic City. What could go wrong? Fans of the series will enjoy this book as much as the previous three. Special thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy of the audiobook in exchange for my honest feedback.

I read "Finlay Donovan Is Killing It," but somehow have missed the two books between that one an Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice. I did not have any issues getting roped into this story, though.

I put this series into the 'brain candy' category of reading. It is something you can enjoy while disengaging your brain for a bit.

Plenty of shenanigans happen with some comedic moments.

Is it great fiction? No.
Are some of the situations a little over the top and unrealistic? Absolutely.
That's what makes it a nice diversion.

I listened to the audiobook version and found it perfect for a few long drives to pick up my son for spring break. After the first few hours, I was hooked and squeezed in some listening time during other parts of my days.

Thanks to NetGalley, Elle Cosimano & MacMillan Audio for the audio ARC of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice. All opinions are my own.

I’m so sad that this was a disappointment. I loved the series so much and I wanted to enjoy just one more. I think it’s time to put this series away and start something else. I will continue to read her books.

Girls' Weekend to Atlantic City for Finlay and Vero! Of course, the weekend's purpose is to reclaim Javi, Vero's childhood crush who has been kidnapped by loan sharks. And then, of course, Steven, the kids and Finlay's mother decide to join making this not so relaxing weekend even more tricky. Working to find Javi as well as cover up the mysterious disappearance of the loathsome Ike from the previous novel, Vero and Finaly find themselves in the exact same shenanigans as before. Oh, and did I mention that Nick is also in Atlantic City for his case? Yes, Nick is also in town following up some leads, which brings about more close calls for Finlay's cover, and even closer calls with the "hot cop." All of the same memorable characters come together in this fourth novel, which will satisfy all readers who love the Finaly Donovan series. Narrated brilliantly by Angela Dawe, this is an audiobook you will not want to miss!

I've enjoyed the Finlay Donovan series since the beginning and was very excited for the release of this novel. Although I'm not so much a fan of the Atlantic City scene, this novel was one I really couldn't put down. Finlay continues to be the mom we all root for and Vero continues to be the little demon on our shoulder, encouraging us to have all the fun. Looking forward to where this series takes us in the next book!

Girls weekend turned in to family and I mean full family road trip- Mom, Ex husband , kids and the nanny - I mean account, plus a few more! This story was laugh out load funny , adventurous and shocking. If you think Finlay Donovan can’t get any wilder - hold on to your hats for this crazy no stop adventure!

Never disappoints! The different voice overs for each character make the vision of the story come to life and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Whether you are reading a hard copy, on a kindle, or listening to the audiobook; this series is always a fave! The nanny, turned best friend, turned partner in crime to this single mama who is just trying to make it out they're like the rest of us, I can't stop voting for this duo and can't wait for more. These two are always in the middle of the mix!

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice was so much fun! It picks up right where the third books leaves off as Finlay and Vero look to rescue Javy and get themselves out of their sticky situation. It's a wild ride from start to finish as Finlay and Vero end up bringing along Finlay's ex husband, her mom and Nick the cop (Finlay's boyfriend). More dead bodies appear and more things go missing. If you've enjoyed the rest of the books in this series this one isn't to be missed!

Thank you to NetGalley, Elle Cosimano & MacMillan Audio for the audio ARC of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice in exchange for an honest review.

I was sold on the Finlay Donovan series from Book #1, so it was a no-brainer that I needed to review this one! I even treated myself and re-listened to the audiobooks of the first three prior to starting #4 and was reminded of just how much I love this series! I am so excited that we are getting at least 3 more!

In this installment, Finlay, Vero & the whole crew travel to (or end up in) Atlantic City. Finlay & Vero are on a mission to save Javi, get the Aston Martin back & get rid of Vero's gambling debt. If the reader is on Book 4, they know what kind of chaos & antics follow Finlay & Vero and this books was just as fun & hilarious as the previous three!

Elle returned with her unmatched humor & gave us everything we were hoping for. We got to have a storyline more focused on Vero's issue, but still primarily involved Finlay. We got to know Finlay's mother a bit more, we learned more of Vero & Javi's backstory, and, of course, the heat turned up some more with Finlay & Nick!!! Eeeeeekkkkkkk!!!

My favorite part of the book was early on when traveling to Atlantic City & Finlay was working on her next book with a sex scene & Steven mentioned that those sex scenes were so unrealistic & that no guy can make love to a woman standing against a wall or while she has her legs wrapped around his waist while he's standing. And then Finlay gives him a look that shuts him up. I can just visualize that look so perfectly in my head! Steven shut his mouth real quick! I mean, HELLO!!!! Have you MET Detective Nick??

Needless to say, I absolutely loved this one & can't wait for the next ones!

***Please forgive me with any spelling errors with Javi or Steven's names. I have listened to the audiobooks since Book 1 & have never actually seen them spelled out, so I apologize if they're spelled incorrectly.***

I think this was probably my second favorite Finlay Donovan outside of the first one. This one focused on a solid mystery and very little description of the kids' stinky diaper!

I received an advance copy. All thoughts are my own.

Once again the Lucy + Ethel of cozy crime get into a debacle of their own creation! You never know what kind of trouble those two are going to get into, or how they will get out of it! But it’s always fun to read and see!

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the 4th instalment in the Finlay Donovan series. I’ve loved following along through all of Finlay’s and Vera’s adventures though all the books. This book takes Finlay along with Vera on what was susposed to be a girls weekend when her ex husband, mother, two children insisted on tagging along on a trip to Atlantic City. I mean what could possibly go wrong in that scenario. I did find it took a little bit to get into the book but once I did it was full on antics and shenanigans like the others. Of course there is definitely a dead body or two, because we can’t have a Finlay and Vera adventure without a dead body. The story that unfolds after is totally impossible, hysterical situations full of twists and turns page after page. Where I can’t wait to see where book 5 takes us.
Book 4 picks up right where book three left off so I really do think you would get more out of the series reading them in order.

I love this series. Vera’s humor always makes me laugh out loud. I loved how this story picks up right where the last book left off. I also enjoyed the how fast this book moves. I listened to this on audiobook while doing mundane chores around my house and it is just perfect cozy mystery.

I love the Finlay Donovan series, and it honestly keep getting better and better. I do think readers would benefit from reading these books in sequential order as there is a lot of character development, plot references, and humor that is tied to the other stories. Finlay and Vero are once again the perfect pair as they wind up on a road trip/family vacation with Finalay's mom, ex-husband and two kids. The banter and dialogue is so funny, and the plot is so outrageously good. I highly recommend the entire series - I can't wait for the next one! The audiobook's narration is exceptional and really captures the humor and spirit of the story.

The Finlay Donovan series is hilarious, and these silly capers are a tongue-in-cheek and ridiculous escape from everyday life.

This being said, #4 is showing diminishing returns.

While still enjoyable, this installment is suffering from a case of "been there, done that," where it feels like every scenario is a rehashed but crazier version of things that have happened in the other books, and dare I say it — I was forced to suspend my disbelief a little TOO much, a little too often.

Will I read #5 if there is one? Of course! I love these books — I just hope the next one brings a fresher perspective to the narrative.

Another successful book in the series! It seems to me that they just get better! I also really enjoy the narrator of this series and hope that she is able to continue to narrate until the end. She has a way with the voices and her regular "narration" voice is easy to listen to. Great job on both the writing and narration of this audiobook! I can't wait to read the next in the series, and with a cliffhanger like that, I assume there will be!

Love, love, love, love, loved this one! #3 wasn't my favorite but this one totally turned it around for me. I love the character development in this one -- best yet. I loved all of the overlapping plot lines and how so much came together -- and the classic cliffhanger at the end. I love the theme of female friendship between Finlay and Vero and how that was so strong in this book. I love that it didn't feel like things were stretching on too long -- some aspects finally wrapped up and that felt very satisfying, a perfect balance between moving on and keeping some common threads. This book is helping me get through a hard time and was the sunshine I needed. Highly recommend continuing this series and reading #4!

It's always fun to see what Finlay is up to these days, although I will admit the quality of the books have been going down over time. While this wasn't my favorite in the series, it was still a fun ride.

Thank you Net Gallery for sharing this book with me! Another Finlay adventure, I could not wait to listen to it. Finlay and Vera going on a road trip was so fun. I loved Finlay characters how they all renter the story. As they come back into the story from the past they get reintroduced so you will know the back story of them. I love that you can pick this book up like it is the first Finlay book and get right into her mess with her. Finlay adventures drag you right down with her. So much fun to read. Thank you again! I highly recommend this book

Finlay Donovan has been a consistent four-star series for me; this book was no exception. Finlay and Vero are such a funny and unlikely pair and I love following them along on their hijinks. This book has everything I've loved from the series so far plus we got more backstory about Vero and got to see her character develop more in this book. I listened to the audiobook and as always, the narrator does a great job bringing these characters to life. With the cliffhanger ending and a couple of other things set up in this book, I think the next book will be one of my favorites in the series.

Thank you NetGalley and Macmillian Audio for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
