Finlay does it again! While I was somewhat disappointed in the last book, I think this one felt closer to the first in the series. It was fun adding in the aspect of all of the hijinks happening in a new city all while Finlay’s mom is along for the ride. Excited to see where the next book takes us!

I know some parts of Finlay Donovan books are plausible, but, it doesn't really make me like them any less. It was fun to visit the story of Finlay Donovan again. I found myself finding little moments here and there to put in a headphone and listen. It picks up right where the last story ended and just keeps moving forward. If you are looking for a little bit of mystery, fun characters, some laughable situations, and an easy read, look no further than the Finlay Donovan books. Great work Elle Cosimano. I thought for sure this one would be the end of the story, but after the ending, I'm just not so sure!

Elle Cosimano has done it again! I was so glad to be along for the ride while Finlay and Vero were off on another adventure while trying to cover up their past criminal indiscretions!

I love how Elle balances Finaly's past relationships, present relationships, kids, job, family, and criminal activity so well. I giggle and smile whenever I listen to her stories on audiobook, and this one was the same. A completely enjoyable experience.

Having Finlay and Vero go and work with the police was hilarious. I knew things were going to get messy in the best way possible Having Finlay's sister and Nick still be such big parts of the story always delight me. I've become so invested in all of these characters over the last 4 books, that I want everyone to find happiness in their lives. So I'm glad that her sister had a great storyline in this book.

I enjoyed the pacing of this book. There was always something happening that kept me finding another chore around the house to do so I could listen to another chapter. The book didn't feel rushed to tie up all of the storylines. That's one thing I love about Elle's writing. Her reveals at the end of the book aren't thrown at you all of a sudden and then the book just ends. Everything is wrapped up perfectly in a nice little bow.

Angela Dawe is always fantastic in the Finlay Donovan books. Her voices are amazing, and just the overall emotion she brings to her narration make the book so enjoyable. I look forward to listening to her. She definitely elevates the listening experience.

Thank you to NetGalley and MacMillan Audio for letting me listen to and give my honest review for Finally Donovan Rolls the Dice!

This is one of my favorite series. You honestly never know what Finlay and Vero are going to get into. I listened to this one in a single sitting. I kept wanting more and more to the story. This is a fast paced, mysterious, thriller, sexy read. Just an incredible book and series!

As the fourth book in the Finlay Donovan series, this book had a tough task to achieve. But I loved this one more than two and three. It's a crazy short romp through the dingy glitz of Atlantic City, and the change of scene was just what these characters needed! The banter between Finlay and Vera was awesome. The growth of their friendship keeps me coming back for more. I love the love triangle, of course, and the spicy scenes are a nice touch! I'm on board for a bunch more installments of Finlay Donovan adventures!

The narration was great and reminded me of a Janet Evanovich audiobook, with accents and acting that match the camp of the story. I think that the level of excitement and tension in the vocal acting paired with the madcap story. The pacing was excellent and this book seemed to fly by!

This is a great continuation to the Finlay Donovan stories. This novel was just as thrilling and complex as the others in the series, a great, consistent story. There weren't any plot holes I found myself fixated on, just good, consistent drama.
Finlay Donovan has to be the absolute luckiest character there has ever been. She is able to talk herself out of situations, no matter how complicated or concerning. Finlay is yet again a funny charming character that you can't help to love and root for. No matter how she messes up, you'll always be rooting for her and Vero's success.
I took off a star for the romance with Nick, I just don’t see a connection on any level other than physical between the two. Finlay is ALWAYS lying to him, I’m not sure how they can love each other with the minimal truthful interactions between the two.
If I'm being honest, the fact that this is the 5th book in the series is confusing to me, the events of the past books begin to blur, but I think Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice will stand out from the rest.

I got the chills so many times toward the end of this book. It completely blew my mind. It managed to surpass my high expectations AND be nothing at all like I expected. Let me preface this with an apology. If I sound stunningly inarticulate at times in this review, I can't help it. My mind is completely fried from this being amazing. I recommend it for those looking for a good suspense book. My only complaint is that in order to make it a standalone, the author gave away too much of the plots of the previous books.

This was a mess and I loved every second of it. I have listened to all the Finlay books, but I read Vero’s, so it took me a second to get used to Finlay/the narrator again. I found this funny, sweet, interesting, fast paced, a truly enjoyable time. I am very curious to see if there will be another!

This is hands down my favorite of all the Finlay books! I'm not sure if it was the NJ accents of the love story for Vero, but I just couldn't get enough! These books never fail to disappoint with fun story lines, twists, and turns, and lots of laugh out loud moments! These are some of my favorite books to listen to via audio since there isn't a wildly intricate story line and the narration is top notch!

I loved this! I love the Finlay Donovan books and this one was no different. I love the characters and the plot. There wasn't any plot holes and the story was set at such a good pace. It held my attention

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Elle Cosimano is an absolute sorcerer! If she wrote a dozen Finlay Donovan books, I would love and give them all the stars.
🤩
Never before have I read four books in a series and given an honest and genuine FIVE STARS to every single one. Cosimano has managed to deliver the same perfect blend of wit, humor, mystery, suspense, and chaos that I have loved about the three previous Finlay Donovan books.
🫶🏻
I recommend this book to anyone who wants an easy, hilarious read laced with acerbic wit - but be sure to read all four books in this series because they don’t work as a standalone.

🎲Finlay Donovan Rolls The Dice 🎲

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 (5 Stars)
Steam: 🌶️/5 a few kissing and some minimally descriptive scenes that fade to black.

I loved this book! I won’t go into the plot as these books need to be read in order. So many twists and turns. It’s comedy, mystery, thriller and just a fun read. I love this series and this is one of my favourite instalments. I highly recommend this book and series.

Thank you Netgalley for providing me with an early audio copy of this book.
I actually thought this was much more fun than the previous one. Again the unbelievable things that happen here is ridiculous but funny. It was a charming story and the ending was wrapped in a fun manner!

Loved this book! It was so much fun to get back with Finlay and Vero and going to a different location made it fresh and fun.
I have to admit I still don’t care too much for Nick (and no I’m not mad the lawyer lost 😭😂), but I loved finlays journey and character growth in this one and can’t wait for the next one

Be prepared to suspend disbelief as Elle Cosimano continues to entertain with the further adventures of Finlay Donovan, divorced romance novelist and former pretend assassin. This time she and her bff/nanny/cohort-in-crime, Vero Ruiz, are off to Atlantic City to tie up some lingering issues from book #3. But from the get-go, things don't go according to plan, and they have to deal with some shady criminals while trying to keep Finlay's mom and ex-husband in the dark about their activities. Angela Dawe's narration of the audiobook is exceptional, as always. And as usual, it's fun, it's surprising, and it's entertaining to watch Cosimano back Finlay and Vero into corners and then get her out of them. And at the end, she leaves the door wide open for book #5. Can't wait!

Once again, the vibes are immaculate.
Finlay and Vero? Amazing. Finlay and Nick? Cool, cool. Still unsure about them, honestly. But VERO AND JAVI??? SWOON.

I love this series so much. I have the best time when I’m reading these books every. Single. Time. And the way Elle Cosimano concludes each book always leaves me screaming for more.

I felt the pacing in this was excellent. I love all the characters (even the villains) (except Steven, he sucks). I honestly hope she writes a million more of these.

Another Finlay Donovan that did not disappoint! I am always blown away by the pace at which I listen and get laundry done, (because I stress fold). The narrator is perfection. Her voice has an effortless way of portraying characters, with just enough sarcasm that fits each character, feeding in to this hilarious narrative, There we’re also so many new characters that had me intrigued, live on the edge of my seat, and stay up too late just to find out what happens!

Thank you NetGalley and MacMillan audio for the advanced listeners copy of this book!

I have enjoyed this entire series and this latest addition is no exception. The whole story line is a bit contrived and not at all believable, but it is entertaining!

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano. There is no more relatable character to me than Finlay Donovan. Okay, maybe not the murder parts but the parts about being a parent and working mom. I LOVED this book. The narrator was fantastic. Finlay was entertaining as always. I am really hoping for book #4! I am not ready to let Finlay and Vero go yet! Loved this laugh out loud book!
