I have been anxiously awaiting an ARC of Hildebrands latest novel “ Swan Song”. She is one of my favorite authors because she can transport me so seamlessly to a place I have never been, but feels like home. This was the final book in her Nantucket series, and this was HER swan song. We meet a wealthy couple who decide to set their roots in Nantucket, and make a big first impression on the town people. They host lavish parties with no expenses spared, but can we trust them? Are they here for the right reasons ? I loved every second of this novel, and I will be booking a trip to Nantucket immediately

Erin Hildebrand takes you on a trip to Nantucket with every story, makes you feel you are living in a small town with the locals and what it would feel like to be one of the characters. It took awhile to clearly understand all the characters... It wrapped up nicely and was a bit predictable.

I was already emotional beginning this book knowing it was the last. Elin did a wonderful job celebrating Natucket, introducing a few new chai, and staying solid with her audience. I have so enjoyed this little slice of escapism and Swan Song was a great wrap up to a stellar career.
