Whitney is overworked truly devoted employee to the resort. One night Theo just happens to stumble into Whitney while she is trying to escape from a disgruntled customer. The next thing Whitney knows is that Theo is working for the resort. This is a sweet faith filled book with no surprises but just a romance.
Not necessarily a Christian book but it does mention praying and leaning on God.

A gripping story that I thoroughly enjoyed. The real life characters were an inspiration in many different ways.

A little bit simplistic for my taste. Everything that can go wrong for Whitney seems to, be that money, family or her health. This seems to be solved by billionaire Theo buying the solution for her. This is a rags to riches story without the emotional connection between the couple and with several prayers offered up when the time seems right for them. The best part of the book is feisty little sister Jada.

This book was everything I wanted! I love romance books. But they usually have too much smut in them. And I was very happy to find a clean romance book. This was so amazing!

In 'A Genuine Disguise,' Rose Fresquez presents the fourth instalment in The Caregiver series, focusing on the budding romance between Theo Stone and Whitney Reed. Set against the backdrop of a struggling hotel and the complexities of family dynamics, this book delivers a classic love story with Christian undertones.

Fresquez crafts a familiar yet captivating tale of love blossoming amidst unexpected circumstances. The narrative follows Theo, a self-made billionaire, who goes undercover as a hotel employee to understand his newfound inheritance. It's during this disguise that he meets Whitney, a dedicated maid balancing the weight of her family's challenges. Their connection flourishes amidst the daily tasks of hotel life, but Theo's hidden identity threatens to unravel their burgeoning relationship.

Fresquez crafts a tale filled with familiar tropes of the romance genre: a wealthy protagonist, a hardworking heroine, and a supporting cast of friends and skillfully weaves together the elements of romance, intrigue, and family dynamics, making for an engaging read. The characters are well-developed, with Whitney's resilience and Theo's internal conflict adding depth to the story. While the plot may follow a predictable trajectory, the author's storytelling prowess keeps readers invested till the end.

What sets "A Genuine Disguise" apart is its subtle exploration of faith and redemption, evident through the underlying Christian themes. The absence of explicit content and profanity makes it suitable for readers seeking a clean romance with moral undertones.

While the novel can be enjoyed as a standalone, the glimpses of the Stone family members introduced in this book serve as intriguing teasers, enticing readers to delve into the stories of other siblings. The familial bonds depicted throughout the narrative evoke a sense of warmth and camaraderie, enriching the overall reading experience.

In conclusion, A Genuine Disguise delivers a heartwarming romance that is both captivating and uplifting. With its well-crafted plot, relatable characters, and underlying themes of faith and family, it's a delightful addition to the genre.
