The main reason I wanted to read this book is because it's written by Nick Carter and I love BSB. I liked how Nick was open and honest about things he had done and regretted, but also that he doesn't pretend to now have it all together. This book is not a tell-all, but more of a self-help with biographical memories interspersed throughout the book. I thought this kept the story interesting, even though some things were told more than once which was a little dull. I found the larger printed quotes annoying, especially when they were either just said or going to be said next - it just wasn't necessary in my opinion.

If you're a Nick Carter or BSB fan, you'll want to read this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book to review. I was asked to give my honest opinion of the book - which I have done.

Nick Carter has been a favorite of mine I was about 14 years old. I really appreciate this insight into his life and to get to know him in a different way. Thank you for the opportunity to read your book.

I was unable to get past the first chapter because even though I'm a Nick Carter fan, I just did not enjoy this book. I originally wrote "cannot review" but realized it hurts my chances of getting additional ARC in the future. I have not come back to write this quasy review to update my percentages. I am unchecking the Goodreads and Amazon options so that the review only stays on NetGalley.
Thank you.

Let me preface this by saying I am huge BSB fan. I even met them when I was 14. I was always Team Nick. When I saw he was releasing an autobiography, I jumped on reading it. I thought the book was be just that, an autobiography when in reality it was more a self help book. While I applaud Nick for overcoming his demons, this book was not very well written. It was very choppy. It went from autobiography to self help and back. It just seemed like it was all over the place.
