‘The Fallen Prince’ by Shea Berkley is book 2 in the Keepers of Life series about a parallel world right on top of ours.

Dylan is back home on Earth, and the battles have seemed to have ended for now. Dylan finds himself exhibiting some powerful elemental powers that he struggles to control. Kera is concerned because she’s had similar powers and knows how dangerous they can be. When Kera is kidnapped, it’s up to Dylan to go after her with his wobbly grasp on his new powers and a group of friends that may find themselves in over their heads in the world of Teag.

The plot involves hot headed and lovesick teenagers. If that appeals to you, you may like this series. I liked it but found some elements a bit wearisome after a while.

I gave feedback on this title quite some time ago. It suddenly reappeared on my shelf after the addition of audiobooks. I contacted Netgalley a week ago and have heard nothing back so am getting these off my shelf this way.
