This was book is easily the funniest book I've read in a while. Disarmingly so because I wasn't expecting it to be so funny. (it did say it was humorous in the description but that doesn't do it justice.) I loved the mixture of fact and fabulously flight fiction on display here, as well as all the real-life locations peppered throughout. (I live in Lincolnshire myself and so know the places here reasonably well - particularly Boston, Lincoln and Spalding!)

If you like the humour of Robert Rankin and Terry Pratchett then you'll enjoy this mad romp through the musical air around Lincolnshire. (there was a pun there somewhere I think.) This would be perfect for music aficionados also.
