The Charmed Friends of Trove Isle is an emotional roller coaster. Three friends reunite after many years, dealing with fears, anger, painful memories, regret, and unanswered questions. Slowly the walls are broken down, forgiveness replaces estrangement, and healing brings the friends back together. This is a good story of friendship and rebuilding relationships. I enjoyed it.

Absolutely loved this story of life coming full circle! Another wonderful book by Annie Rains. Could not put this down!! Childhood friends split apart by tragedy . Meet again as adults. Can they go back to how they were before?

What a heartwarming, sweet story about friendship, conquering fears, and learning to forgive. The beginning of the story was difficult for me to read. Three friends were separated for years following a tragic event in their lives. There was a lot of pent up anger as each dealt with the circumstances in their own way, right or wrong. But when a long lost charm bracelet reappears bringing the friends together again, the healing process begins. This book has a lot of heartache and angst but is well worth the read. I highly recommend it!

What a heartwarming novel! The Charmed Friends of Trove Isle is a sweet women’s fiction/romance novel that I enjoyed from start to finish. Centering around three best friends who were inseparable until a tragedy pushed one of them away from the town and the others. The storyline picks up ten years later when the estranged friend returns to Trove Isle, and it was from that point that I was completely hooked.

I always enjoy small-town novels, and this one did not disappoint. I read in the synopsis that The Charmed Friends of Trove Isle is the adult version of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and I found that comparison to be apt. Additionally, I was reminded of the Sweet Magnolias series as well. Annie Rains did a great of melding the women's fiction and romance genres with a splash of magic! I haven't read anything by Annie Rains before, but this novel was a complete 5 star read. I'm excited to read more of her in the future.

This was a really good book. I love reading books by Annie Rains because there's never a dull moment in them. I loved how it talked about friendship because the three friends overcame a lot and were able to remain friends. It was cute, romantic, and I had tears in my eyes reading this. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.

This story is a roller coaster of emotions. You follow the lives of three friends after a traumatic event. I enjoyed the story showing the different perspectives and consequences. Interesting and thought provoking story. This is a strong women’s fiction. No sex scenes.

Dnf at 20% I just felt like I couldn’t get emotionally invested in any of the characters. Not giving a rating on Goodreads because other people might love. I hope there is some magical realism in it because that’s what I was hoping!

This is my third read by Annie Rains Through the Snow Globe was a four star stunner and The Finders Keepers Library has its place in the world. The Charmed Friends of Trove Isle was a great book about female friendship with a touch of magical realism thrown in and that’s where Annie Rains shines. I loved the North Carolina setting as I have spent a lot of time in the state and it brought back memories of my time there.

This is a tale of loss as there are two deaths but it is also about forgiveness and second chances. These women are far from perfect, one runs away from her problems, one is a recovering addict and ex-con and the last has a pretty bad panic/anxiety disorder. After nine years they finally get their acts together and decide to lean on and help each other. I mean isn’t that what friends are for? I am glad these friends were reunited and that Aunt Jo got her wish and let her magic do its job. There is a touch of romance for a couple of the women but it isn’t front and center, they all want to work on themselves, their family ties and their friendship and I was so happy that was the main focus of the book.

Aunt Jo’s shop, Hidden Treasures, sounds like a dream to me, I love thrifting and checking out vintage items, especially those from my childhood. I really liked the idea of the charm bracelet in this story, I have one myself and I love it because each charm represents a time in my life or a part of my personality. I knew exactly how these ladies felt about their special piece of jewelry and I think that is part of the reason I enjoyed this one so much.

Pleasant story about the lives of three friends ten years after a traumatic event. All three dealt with the tragedy in different ways and each had consequences on their adult lives. When Melody returns home after the loss of her great aunt, she has to decide if she wants to face Trove Isle and small town living again or if her life in Charlotte is enough. Liz (my favorite of the subplots) has to decide if she wants to keep trudging thru life or start living the one she wants. Bri is living with the consequences of her actions and nervously anticipating her next chapter. This is more of a women’s lit story, not much romance and no sex scenes.
