This is a touching tale of undying love passed through the generations. Somewhat reminiscent of Robert Munsch's Love You Forever (though I found that one creepy), this seems to be one of those books that the grownups will love more than the kids.
Be prepared to sniffle.

Sweet story, and it doesn't just apply to fathers and sons. I feel an unbreakable thread with both my parents and as cheesy as it sounds, I think they have one with my husband now, too.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

A nice story about the unbreakable thread that bonds the family together. The bond last from one generation to the other. Sweet book with cute illustrations. Perfect to read with your own little one.

This book is such a beautiful depiction of the love and connection formed through generations and how it works to intertwine our hearts and lives. I really enjoyed reading this to my children and look forward to recommending it to others!
Thank you NetGalley and Marble Press for the opportunity to preview this as an Advanced Reader Copy.

This sweet story will help families know that no matter oneβs location, age, or circumstances, families are connected. Bonds are unbreakable even if they are tangled or stretched thin.

This beautifully illustrated book will make a sentimental gift for family members of every age. "The Unbreakable Thread" the story refers to represents the bonds of family throughout generations. My second-grade daughter and I enjoyed reading this together, although I think the story meant more to me than it did to her. The symbolism is beautifully crafted, although kids might wonder why the story is about a thread that doesn't show up in the pictures. For me there were a few inconsistencies, but overall this is a gorgeous book with a meaningful message.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an early copy to review. All opinions are my own and I was no required to leave a positive review.
