What does a pink blob named Quinnelope do when she realizes the moon is missing? Well she gets her friends to come along to solve the mystery of the missing moon. Tagging along for the space adventure are her friends/roomates Star (a shooting star), Bub (butler), and Pish (a purple goldfish).

Quinnelope finds herself extremely sleep deprived after a bit of all day fun that seemed to never end with the moon nowhere in sight to help her go to sleep. She really begins to feel the impact of not having it around and vows to not sleep until she finds it. Quinnelope worried about everyone in her world and how it would affect them too so she set out to bring Moon back home.

This was such a cute and fun filled adventure with Quinnelope and friends putting together clues that lead them to what Moon was doing away from home. The art style was fun/vibrant and the font was dyslexic friendly which was so thoughtful. You as a reader also get a step by step bonus on drawing a few of the characters in the story. I thought that was an enjoyable interactive touch. I look forward to more adventures with Quinnelope and friends!

Thank you to Oni Press and NetGalley for a chance to read and review this fun book.

This was such a cute, colourful read! Loved the illustrations and the story! The missing moon is a real mystery and Quinnelope and the gang go on a mission to find their moon, it's a real adventure and they meet a lot of characters along the way.

Enjoyable read and would recommend

Thank you NetGalley and Oni Press for providing me with this arc in exchange for my honest review.

This is the second installment in this silly little series for younger kids but it’s perfectly readable as a standalone too.

I think my expectations were a little too high, I thought this would be a lot funnier and more fast paced but once I got used to it being a bit slower and simpler (this goes for the illustrations too) I mostly enjoyed my time with Quinnelope the pink blob, Star, Bub the butler and Pish the purple pet fish. Some parts were on the boring side though but it always picked up again.

When the sun is still out at night, Quinnelope decides to have fun first! She stays up all daynight ;) but when there’s still no moon the next day, they realize something is terribly wrong! They start to think of all the things that can’t happen or go wrong if there is no night.

Star starts a radio show to hopefully get the listeners to help but we actually never get any listener feedback, the show was a nice added touch though.

Quinnelope thinks she can’t sleep without the moon and she needs to go to space to find her and that’s the start of a silly adventure with a satisfying ending.

I loved how the other planets looked :)(especially Glitterglorb), the more and more confusing way the Pish tried to navigate them, and the other space inhabitants and the cute meteor crossing! The space bugs “cover” was disgusting tho ;).

This was an easy, simple, fun and colorful read.

This book was cute and lovely, and it was filled with both adorable emotional moments, and with laugh-inducing weirdness.
Extra bonus points go to the artist: the art is really cute, the drawings are bold and colorful, action-filled, and tell a story of their own.
And, MORE BONUS POINTS for the super, super friendly and easy to read font choice!

Quinnelope and I are kindred spirits in that the moon is an integral part of her sleep pattern… so when the moon goes missing, she has to team up with her friends and go on an adventure to find it! There’s loads of funny moon puns in this! A fun Saturday morning read!
