The biggest thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for this arc. I’m so very thankful I was given the chance to read this book early. It was sickly cute in all the best ways!

Ben is the world’s most timid werewolf. He’s an anxiety ridden bleeding heart, sweet as pie, an introvert, and would rather spend his days surrounded by plants than running around the town trying to get his sister elected as mayor. But that’s not in the cards for him. Instead he’s logistics manager for the campaign, and the new (accidental) owner of a terrifyingly hot vampire succubus minion.

Eleonore is not from this time, a little murderous, and proving to be more than Ben bargained for on Ebay. But oddly, she’s so endearing. The vampire has been cursed for the rest of her years to obey the owner of her crystal prison. But when her crystal falls into Ben’s hands, she’s not expecting the quiet wolf to sympathize with her. She hasn’t experienced kindness in years, and doesn’t know what to do with herself. Much to her surprise, Ben is determined to help her gain her freedom.

I loved every minute of this book. I’m new to this author but can easily see why everyone fell in love with her. This adorable paranormal book was such a quick read. The characters were so fun. Despite jumping into the series, it was super easy to understand. It’s filled with cameos from the first books. It gave me enough context to understand who was who, and made me interested in finding out more.

Eleonore was such a great character and by far my favorite out of the bunch. She’s so out of place in this time, but eager to learn. I loved watching her navigate modern day. What really got me was her list of things to look up. I was genuinely cracking up at the things she wanted to know. She had her small stabby missteps, but was doing a great job of keeping up considering. And when she would mess up, it was so very funny. Her hilarious immortalisms had me laughing out loud. Poor Ben was trying so hard to explain her strangeness.

It’s a little bit rom com and a little bit mystery. (Someone keeps sabotaging events!) And I was thoroughly enjoying the combo. The mystery peaked my interest and the romance is what made me stay invested! I was kicking my feet at the way it all played out. There were so many times that I found myself just smiling like a smitten little goober. This one definitely gave me the warm and fuzzies. Ben is a giant marshmallow of a man, but he had me blushing. His little handmade argyle sweaters would have done me in. I’m a sucker for a big burly nerd.

I cannot wait to see what comes next from this author. Sarah Hawley knocked this book out of the park and I’ll definitely be snatching up her next endeavor.

This was so cute and sweet and funny!
With a little bit of a murder-y vampire and an introvert werewolf! Who would’ve thought that they’d made a good couple?!!

This was such a fun read! I loved seeing them come out of their shell and how they fell in love, I love how everyone in Glimmer Falls makes appearances in the books!
I definitely love Ben!

Sarah Hawley does it again. In fact, this might be my favorite installment from the Glitter Falls gang. Ben and Elenore compliment each other perfectly, the romance is sweet and sexy, and Hawley somehow manages to make the mental health rep (Ben's anxiety and Elenore's trauma) realistic, poignant, and just as often hilarious.

This was an amazing book! I haven't read any of the others in this series - but it didn't feel like I was missing anything, and that's a huge achievement. This can be read with others or by itself as a standalone! I thought the characters were fleshed out, the romance was very sweet, and I enjoyed seeing each of them grow and connect. I laughed aloud several times and enjoyed every step of the ride.

When Ben buys a cheap crystal off eBay, he never expected to get a vampire/succubus who is bound to his every order. Horrified by Eleanor's situation, Ben does his best to figure out how to free her amid the chaos of his own life - running his Plant Emporium, helping his sister run for office and trying to knit all the Christmas gifts for his family.

This is the third book in the series - can be enjoyed as a stand alone - that returns to familiar people and places. I didn't enjoy this book as much as the previous two installments - Eleanor is a little too manic for me - but it's a solid piece of the series, especially if you are interested in the subplots that carry through the series.

This was definitely cute. What I was expecting for this kind of book. A quick fun read to read between books.

I love love love Glimmer Falls! Sarah Hawley is back at it with this latest installment. Werewolf and plant emporium owner Ben works hard at managing his anxiety and keeping his life calm and organized. One drunken eBay purchase later and his world is turned upside down by Eleanora, a vampire succubus cursed to a crystal for the past 600 years. Ben must step outside his comfort zone to help break the curse and falls in love with the daring and gorgeous vampire along the way. I loved the flirting, chemistry and steam this book had! The magical elements are so fun and it truly was a delightful rom com.

You should already know that I immediately read this book as soon as I was able to read it early on. And I have to say that I truly enjoyed reading it. It was such a cute yet steamy romance read.
Ben, as the main character, is such a cute surprise. Typically, we have females as the leading main characters, but Ben finds himself in a bit of a predicament. He has been trying to find someone in his life romantically, but ultimately falls behind. And it doesn't help that he gets drunk at his close friend's wedding and bids something on eBay.
I find it funny that he bid on something while he was drunk. Everyone knows that you can't shop while you are drinking. It's always going to end up biting you, which literally kind of happened when he brought a cursed vampire succubus and arrived at his home. I laughed so hard when he realized his mistakes and what's going to happen over the next few weeks.

Was a huge fan of this book! This is the perfect read for the fall and Halloween season! I had read the witch’s guide to fake dating a demon and this was no exception! Perfect mix of fantasy and romance! Ben and Eleonore’s chemistry was amazing and loved their character development. Anything this author comes out with I am always obsessed with

Thank you to Sarah Hawley, Berkley Publishing Group and Netgalley for an Advanced Reader Copy.

Werewolf Ben Rosewood's life is constantly busy but also lonely. As the owner of a popular Florist Emporium he is about to expand to include a community center/cafe/theater space, a caring and supportive friend and brother, and a chronic overthinker, Ben just hasn't found the time or energy to date in a while. After arriving home drunk from a friend's wedding he bids on what he thinks is a faux-haunted plastic gemstone online. To his surprise when it arrives a few days later he is now the "owner" of the gemstone and the 600-year-old, sexy-as-sin, Succubus-Vampire hybrid assassin. Suddenly he feels even more out of his depth than usual. On the flip side Eleanora has been suspended in a weird sleep-stasis-type condition for around 600yrs. Having been tricked into servitude and later forced to kidnap and kill at someone else's behest she has a hard time trusting anyone and cannot understand why Ben is being kind to her or even wants to free her from his "service". What feels like a story of opposites attract/ forced proximity ends up being (well that, but also) a love story that brings two misunderstood souls together in a way that allows them to support and care for the other. Their dynamic could have been a very abuse of power situation instead its much more even with each being very aware of the other's boundaries and needs - ultimately making them equal partners in romance.

I'm a big fan of Sarah Hawley and Glimmer Falls in general... I like how she subverts common bookish expectations and displays (what I assume is her own) progressive views through a fun twisting of phrases and ideas and lots of banter. And this book was no different. Generally, I would have given it 5 stars except that I had a hard time with her describing a Jewish-adjacent/coded male character as being intact without offering any discussion or comment on the subject. (Disclaimer) I am not Jewish but it felt odd to me for the first MMC to be described as uncircumcised to be someone whose book refers to Judaism and where even the name feels Jewish. (I'm not sure I'm expressing this well but: Benjamin is a Hebrew/Old Testament name and while English in origin, Rosewood as a compound nature last name feels similar to names like Feldman, Goldstein, Bloomberg etc). He also is known to attend Jewish holidays and Sabbath meals and his larger family/wolfpack is referred to by a hyphenated last name "Rosewood-Levine". If both Oz and Asteroth from the previous books had also been described as being intact I don't think I would have noticed or cared but this combination eeked me. As said there is no real reason why he couldn't be intact, I just wish it were either addressed better or left out as it wasn't a necessary detail. (I did ask some Jewish friends about it, though they haven't read the book yet, and they too felt that it was odd and potentially problematic).

4/5 stars
4/5 steam

Things in this book: Anxiety Rep, an evening of uneven power imbalance, political intrigue, forgiveness and 2nd chances, knitting, cozy fantasy, small town romance, cinnamon roll werewolf MC, badass tough chick FMC.

I really enjoyed this book and the world that was built, the couple and their dynamics. It was such a fun read and i loved the jokes that were throughout the book. Pop culture references are always fun to read about in a fantasy world and i enjoyed it. Thanks again to Netgally and the publishers for letting me have early access to read this book. I had no idea when i requested to read this book that it was apart of a series, and it’s definitely left me wanting more, i’ll definitely be picking up the other two, and recommending it to the shoppers in my store.

This book hooked me in from the first chapter. I loved the character development and how the story progressed.

A Werewolf’s Guide to Seducing a Vampire is the third book in the Glimmer Falls’ series, but can be read as a standalone– unfortunately, if you read it as a standalone, you’ll receive spoilers for the previous two books right out of the gate. I understand some context for recurring characters, but some paragraphs were quite literally summarizations of the character’s arc within their respective stories.

Maybe reading this as a standalone ruined my enjoyment of it, since I was often confused or overwhelmed with the sheer number of returning characters and concepts. Additionally, going into this book I expected more supernatural elements from the titular characters, but found little beyond surface level once a month shifting and vampiric speed. It just wasn’t living up to its title, in my opinion– especially considering how the vampire (who’s part succubus for some reason?) was the one to seduce the werewolf!

The charm in this book was undeniable– the characters were fun, the town was magical, the dialogue was quirky–but I felt like that charm often overshadowed the plot. Oftentimes characters would get sidetracked on silly topics, which I enjoyed until it kept happening.

Finally, while I do think Ben and Eleanore are a sweet couple, I thought their relationship moved way too fast to be believable, and I’ve already suspended a lot of disbelief reading this book. I think Ben needs a slower love, since he’s a beautifully written introvert/ people-pleaser character that Eleanore began to get to open up to her, and the chemistry between them was a classic “opposites attract”. Eleanore felt a little flat in comparison, though, and I feel like her character didn’t develop as much as Ben’s did.

Overall, I think this romcom just lacked balance between the rom and the com. I did enjoy it, but I probably won’t be reading the other two books since I basically now know what happens– though I may check the first one out for Ben. Just such a great character, I love an introverted werewolf himbo.

Oh gosh, I liked this one a LOT more than I thought I would, it felt so good to dip back into Glimmer Falls. This series contains a fantasy world where (for the most part) ALL supernatural creatures and humans live together in harmony. At least in Glimmer Falls they do.

Cue Ben, a warewolf who loves to knit … wear sweater vests and has anxiety. A little role reversal from most werewolves you’ve met before and then he gets drunk and buys a cursed vampire who’s entrapped in a crystal to obey the owners commands on ebay because it’s 99 cents and surely it can’t be real. Ah, but it is.

This story was a fun whirlwind ride through the relationship evolution and changing Glimmer Falls. This book has grown on me so much I wish I could go there and experience the town and the characters myself. I look forward to more from this series, a solid 4.5 star read and a series any romantasy reader should check out.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkeley Publishing Group for the advanced copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

A romance of the caliber of Helen Hoang. Fun, the stakes were high enough to keep the plot going, and incredibly mental health aware. Also, amazingly sexy.

These books continue to be cozy, witchy, and charming! This one wasn't my favorite of the series but they are still the perfect way to feel fall vibes even in the summer. I love a cute small town and the mystical just enhances the appeal! More werewolves, please.

I loved this book! It was everything I wanted it to be.

I have enjoyed reading the Glimmer Falls books so far, but the main issue I have had with them has been the world-building, which has been so-so. I think this book managed to flesh that out a bit, which I liked a lot.

I adored the characters, which has been a great strength in this series. I love Ben, he's your average romance protagonist in some ways, but he's also unique and I love the traits that set him apart. Eleanora was equally compelling, partially because I liked meeting new species in this world, and partially because she's a female quasi-immortal and we don't see a lot of those! The conflict in this one was also top-knotch, with both characters dealing with internal and external conflicts. I love how their friendship grows and their issues felt naturally occuring and not artificially created.

Ben might be my favorite character, and I love seeing him be cared for! Eleanora is also just a fun, weird character with a lot going on.

I think this book is very strong, probably the best in the series, though I did enjoy both of the others!

A WEREWOLF’S GUIDE TO SEDUCING A VAMPIRE had me giggling while I read—it was hilarious and absolutely delightful! I was thrilled to receive this arc because I enjoyed the other Glimmer Falls books so much. They’re some of my favorite romance novels. This next installment in the series was just as good as the first two and had me captivated from start to finish!!

The premise itself was so funny. Ben, our werewolf main character, gets drunk and mopey about his single status and during this time, ends up buying a “magic crystal” for 99 cents off of eBay. To his surprise, when the plastic crystal arrives, there’s a vampire succubus woman named Eleanore trapped in it 😂 they go on an adventure to try and free her from the curse that binds her to the crystal and fall in love in the process.

I loved so many things about this book. One of those was the way Ben’s anxiety is depicted. It felt incredibly real and it was a big part of the character’s life. However, it didn’t keep him from being lovable and Eleanore goes out of her way to accommodate his mental health, even standing up for him when he has trouble doing it himself.

Eleanore also deals with a lot of difficult things, especially as she deals with getting revenge on her former captor. She also has to learn a lot about the modern world, which she does via Star Trek, her only point of reference 😂 I also loved how much she adored Ben and learned to trust him over time.

Of course there were cameos of our other favorite couples—Mariel & Oz and Calladia & Astaroth make appearances and help our characters on their quest! There’s experimental theater performances, heart-to-hearts as characters develop, and a great amount of spice.

As per usual, this Glimmer Falls book was a 5 star read for me and I’ll definitely be rereading it at some point! Huge thanks to the author, the publisher, and NetGalley for providing me an arc copy. 💜

First book of the series that I’ve read and I’m hooked! Definitely need to get my hands on the other two. This books had the cinnamon roll boyfriend, which I love and the seductively, vicious fmc.

Ben the cute and lovable werewolf and Elenore the hot succubus vampire. I loved the intense chemistry they had. And so many parts had me laughing. They both set out on a journey to break Eleanore’s curse. All while juggling other life tasks. This was such a cute and cozy read. My little Halloween loving heart feels so full. And the SPICE was spicy! Thank you NetGalley for the arc

Sarah Hawley's books are always entertaining and a good time. I enjoyed the first two books in the series and I was excited to read another book that was set in Glimmer Falls. Ben is a very lovable character and Eleanore was so entertaining; I liked the references to Star Trek and how that was her point of reference for the modern world. My only complaint about this book, and it's super minor, was that the story was at times too similar to the second book. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to Hawley's future work.
