This book features double spreads that have a lot of information them, but they are still SO fun. The pictures are very engaging and help the information make sense. I think kids will enjoy this book.

This book is amazing. It is packed with information on dinosaurs, the time period, and other prehistoric creatures. It breaks down not just the creatures but how we study them, what happened to them, and even what careers there are related to studying the PreHistoric World. The Illustrations and included photos are great as well. This is a great book to keep on your shelf. The only minor complaint I have is that the pronunciation of each creature isn't listed on the page but there is a pronunciation guide at the back of the book. That just means my kids are going to correct me when I read it to them.

Last but not least, there is a great glossary and index. I love a good glossary.

A deep dive into the world of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures! This teaches children a lot about this world and gives them a lot of new vocab. I liked this one a lot, but I wish some of the pictures were more illustrative. There were many that felt too CGI especially compared to the others.

I received my copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Lots of interesting scientific information. Everything is well presented. The layout is nicely spaced, allowing for easy visual navigation through the pages. And the whole book is packed with compelling photographs and illustrations. I even loved the pronunciation guide in the back of the book—a handy addition for grappling those long, scientific names.

A great addition to any learning library.

This book is kind of deceptive because the pictures are bright, there aren't many pages, the layout is comfortable, and there is a TON of information.
I highly recommend this for classrooms and for all young dino lovers. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

I studied and read through this book with my six year old, a self proclaimed "Dino expert," and he rates it 5 out of 5 stars! The pictures were clear, there was a plethora of information, while not being overwhelming to younger audiences (in this case, a four year old and a six year old). The colors were a big plus for my four year old. Overall, we enjoyed looking through this book as a family!

Thank you Ashley Hall and DK Children!
