This was such an incredibly sweet short story.

Julia London has been a firm favourite of mine for a few years now but I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I thought the story would feel rushed and that I wouldn’t be that bothered about the characters.
However, I found Kate and Joe to be very endearing and both likeable.
The scenes and dialogue between the two of them was so well written, they made me smile and root for them. The chemistry was written very well too.
This may have been a short book but I feel like I got a normal sized book. It was very well paced, and unrushed.

Love it and will definitely NOT turn my nose up to any of her novellas in the future.
