This book was funny and entertaining but I'm not going to lie - some of the humor and shenanigans really made me feel awkward and embarrassed. Which I guess is a good thing because the author is doing a good job setting the stage . but it definitely took me out of the story and I did not enjoy the MMC. I have heard the rest of the series is different so I will be continuing!

Meghan has done it yet again! This book is hilarious, spicy, and everything I need in a book. It was honestly such a joy to read. I was EAGER for Maggie’s book since I met her character. Of course she didn’t disappoint!

If you don’t laugh your ass off reading this one, Something isn’t right! The longing and the pining masked by “hating” each other had the tension on an ALL TIME high.

Audio was even better!

Bridesmaid For Hire

When they say Meghan Quinn pacts each book with heart, humor && heat.. they really mean it! This book was a perfect combination of all three && I ate it up!!

When we got a glimpse of Maggie && Brody in The Reason I Married Him I instantly couldn’t wait for their book! They were so cute && Brody is the best cinnamon roll boyfriend. But this book started off with them being enemies, along with brothers best friend. Throw in a trip to Bora Bora that gives us forced proximity && a fake relationship? We have a recipe for a Meghan Quinn good time!

Everything that Brody went through on this trip.. I felt so bad for him, but also couldn’t stop laughing 90% of the time. He’s a real trooper && honestly the best supportive boyfriend. His obsession with Maggie was so freakin cute!! Maggie is strong, independent && married to her career. She struggles with letting Brody in, but once she does it’s oh so sweet! Between the spice && the banter, they were one adorable couple!

I loved all of the side characters && I freaking hope that everyone gets their own book!!! I especially loved my Hattie cameos🩵 Another Meghan Quinn fav in the books for me!!

This book had me laughing harder than any other book of Meghan's at that's saying something. Lol
Omg the way he woke up to her every morning.
Those games had me laughing so hard. Poor Brody just had the luck.
And Maggie and her non stop talking about embarrassing things about Brody and Gary. Their game rituals had me laughing so hard.
The wedding party hiking trip sent me over the edge. I had to stop reading and then re-read the snake scene multiple times because I was laughing so hard.
Brody's personal dialogue had me laughing thru the whole book.
Deanna was the devil, ugh, I wanted to reach into the book and strangle her myself.
I loved how Hardy and Hudson became Brody's buddies.
Jude and Haisley were such a great couple and a strong couple that even her dad couldn't come between.
Brody's relationship with Gary was awesome. Omg! I actually want to witness a crazy friendship like this. These two are a riot.
And don't get me started on Gary and Patricia. She is a saint that woman. Lol
Gary and her need a book because he is one goofy guy and would love to hear more of his crazy stories. Lol
Maggie and Brody's story was great and full of fun and laughter. Can't wait for the next Almond Bay story.

Meghan brings it every time. She is the queen of spicy romantic comedy. Out of all Meghan's recent releases, Bridesmaid for Hire is one of my top reads. Maggie and Brody had me laughing, sweating and swooning.

Meghan Quinn is one of my favorite authors and Bridesmaid for Hire made me realize why all over again. Bridesmaid for Hire is laugh out loud funny, heartwarming, emotional, and spicy. Brody and Maggie had their little moment years ago, but that didn't end well. Which makes them fake dating so much fun!

Maggie is supposed to be on vacation, but running your own business is hard. So when she gets a chance to get to know a big company that could make her business a household name, she takes her chance. Brody is there to make an appearance and try to save his job. Fake dating seems to be the best solutions for both of them.

Preparing for the wedding makes things get messy. There are activities that don't end well for either character, but are so much fun you have to laugh out loud. The tension between Brody and Maggie jumps off the page and you just want to see them together. I loved watching these two slowly get to know each other and let their walls down. A few moments had me hoping that these two would just talk, but other than that, Bridesmaid for Hire was perfect for me.

If you're looking for a book with amazing characters, laugh out loud moments, moments that will make you blush, and others that maybe even make you tear up a little, Bridesmaid for Hire is for you. I'm so excited to read the next book in the series.

My review will also be posted on https://thebookdutchesses.com on April 10th.

Another amazing book by Meghan! This one had all the romcom feels and definitely needs to be made into a movie, it would be a box office hit! I loved Brody so much, I loved maggie so much. Plus all the side characters were absolutely amazing. Like do i sense another billionaire series with Hardy and Hudson? I sure hope so!! The chemistry between the 2 characters was undeniable. I give this book infinity stars.

“The only thing that I care about is you. I’m distracted by you. I can’t think with you around. And whenever I see you, my mind goes blank, my heart thumps in my chest, and all I want to do is hold you…even when we’re not pretending.”

Maggie is on a much needed vacation to Bora Bora looking for a hot single man in a speedo, but the only single man there is her brother's best friend, that she cant stand! He is there for his bosses daughter's wedding, and he is trying to get on his good side. Maggie knkw so she too wants on Mr. Hoppers good side. So she schemes up a plan that can be beneficial for both of them. Let the shenanigans begin.

Meghan Quinn has done it again. She has weaved a tale that draws you in an entertains you throughout

Maggie is a wedding planner and is confident and outgoing. the Complete opposite of the brooding and moody Brody. I loved their interactions, they were hilarious and the banter was witty. Mixed in with red hot chemistry and steam this was a fun and sexy read.

This was classic MQ humor and banter. Overall I enjoyed this. There were a few slow spots and filler. I bet in audio this is amazing, with all the funny texts and convos. I really loved Maggie and Brody. Poor Brody though, he was struggling during the trip. The snake scene had me DYING LAUGHING!

**3.5 Stars**

There were things I loved about this book and things I didn't care for as much.
I REALLY liked Brody. A lot. I felt bad for him every time he was caught doing something embarrassing and I definitely felt some secondhand cringe. He was a great guy though who was trying to help himself out and, unfortunately, kept messing himself up instead. I thought he was so sweet to Maggie even when they were "enemies" and despite the so-called "betrayal" I never hated him.

Maggie was on and off for me. I felt like once she and Brody got together, she was a lot better, but she was the worst before and after. I legitimately don't understand how she can not realize that telling everyone how Brody and Gary celebrate baseball wouldn't be embarrassing. I'll be honest, that part left a bad taste in my mouth. She came across as an idiot in that moment and that felt like it wasn't true to her character. I also thought she WAY overreacted at the "betrayal" and created an issue where she could have just had a conversation with Brody to resolve it all. She also seems like she likes to play games and test people, particularly when she was mad at Brody for not calling when she SPECIFICALLY said she doesn't want to hear from ever again. I don't know. She's definitely NOT my favorite MQ FMC.

The best people in this book were easily the Hopper "kids" and Brody. They brought all the heart and soul this book needed. Especially Hudson and Hardy. I'm really looking forward to their books! Despite Maggie, it really was an entertaining and interesting read. I've read similar books like this in the past, but this one definitely had me chuckling and cringing equally. One thing I will say though, is I'm a little done with the crossovers and references to other books. It was cute and fun for a while, but now I feel like it's a little overdone and I'm ready for some new world building.

Overall, I really did like this book. It's a fun, entertaining beach read that you'll get through pretty quickly.

Where do I begin?

The links between all of Meghan’s books, series and characters makes me so happy. She is truly creating a MQ universe and I am here for all of it!

With a setting like Bora-Bora and characters like Brody, Maggie and Gary, you knew it was going to be such a disaster you had to just laugh.

I loved the story set up, the aforementioned disasters, and everything in between!
