The Christmas Cookie Wars by Eliza Evans is a holiday-themed clean rom-com. Melody, widower and mother to two twin boys in fifth grade, is barely hanging on. She’s overwhelmed with trying to be the best mother she can be and ends up taking on the role of leading the cookie fundraising committee at her sons’ school to try to save not only their STEM club but also the Christmas traditions their family has had for years. This leads to Melody having more frequent contact with the school’s handsome principal Jonathan Baxter and their eventual romance.

This was a cute read! I liked the characters and how they were older than ones in typical rom-com books. There were both funny and sweet moments throughout the book. This is a fast-paced easy read and fans of holiday rom-coms will enjoy this.

Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for granting me an eBook ARC in return for my honest review. This book is expected to be published on October 22, 2024.

What a beautiful, fun, story about a mom trying to save Christmas for her 9 year old twin boys. There was humor, romance, and lots of cookies. I really enjoyed it.
