Wow! Wow! Wow! This is one dark and twisty story yet sadly it's utterly believable. I could not put it down.
Nowhere to Hide is Callie's tale. She meets Duncan Stone - a well known actor - and their relationship powers along quickly. He's controlling and Callie is soon caught up totally dependent and trapped with seemingly no way out. Until she runs into an old friend and they plot her escape.
Great characters, twists and turns and loads of drama and emotion. I loved it.

This was a tad difficult to finish due to the domestic violence but I should’ve read more into the description. Overall it’s a great book.

To the world, Duncan Stone is charming, handsome, a celebrity, a retired actor now turned philanthropist. To Callie Parker he is a bully, tormentor and abuser.
Callie first meets Duncan when the agency she works for signs him up as a client. Duncan’s gaze soon focuses on Callie, singling her out at a work event, then showering her with flowers and taking her to the best restaurants where he is given special treatment, bestowed his favourite table and know to all of the staff. Callie is overwhelmed by it all and is swept off her feet.
As their relationship rapidly develops, Duncan is keen for Callie to move into his beautiful country mansion. Duncan’s controlling behaviour starts to immerge and initially it makes Callie feel cared for and special, he seems to have such a keen interest in the minutia of her life. However, Callie’s perception of Duncan starts to change as his behaviour exhibits signs of being controlling and he exposes his true personality. His cruelty is taken to another level when Callie doesn’t behave in the way Duncan expects of her and starts to deal out punishment.
Callie becomes a shadow of her former self, jumping at the slightest noise; she is in constant fear of this appalling man, suffering mental and physical abuse. Despite Duncan’s threat to kill her if she ever left him, Callie knows that’s what she must do to survive. She plots a way to escape, though it’s made virtually impossible as she is constantly being watched by Duncan and his body guard. With the help of an old friend, Callie escapes to the deep Norfolk countryside, taking refuge in a small cottage on an expansive estate. She should feel safe here and although Callie slowly starts to regain her previously confident personality, this is soon thwarted, but Callie doesn’t know if this is just a throwback to her oppressive past or whether that past has caught up with her.
Due to the subject matter, I found this an uncomfortable read, although this no way reflects the first-class standard of Keri’s writing. The abuse that Callie suffers is brutally horrific and Keri’s style of writing is exceptionally descriptive, which makes the plot and the images it creates particularly real. Having said that, I was totally gripped reading this book, I absolutely loved it. Keri has written another fantastic book here which yet again proves what a brilliant author she is.

Thought I would really enjoy this book but the cat and mouse element, along with the domestic violence had me more on edge, rather than on the edge of my seat, sadly.
Thank you to the Publisher and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A fast paced psychological thriller. I found this book very suspenseful, tense and at times heartbreaking. The domestic violence scenes are absolutely brutal. An absolute page turner that is gripping from the beginning. The story has a cat and mouse element to it.
Enjoyed the 'then' and 'now' aspect of the book.

Callie meets Duncan Stone at her job, retired film star, charity entrepreneur and drop-dead gorgeous bachelor...and he wants to take her out! After a whirlwind romance she moves to his country mansion, far from her friends and family... it's romantic right? Just like when he tells her what to wear, and the cameras are just for security aren't they? He's keeping her safe, that's why his security guard follows her whenever she goes out, he's just looking after her isn't he? It makes sense that if she steps out of line...she should be punished shouldn't she? But there's no excuses if he tries to hurt her dog...and Callie is starting to think she needs to get away, even if it kills her...
This book is fantastic, couldn't put it down although I must admit I've been completely stressed out by the entire thing! The characters are brilliant, well developed and I definitely got a sense of hating or loving them.
Obvious trigger warning for domestic violence.
This is my first Keri Beevis book and it definitely won't be my last.
Review also posted to Goodreads but unable to link account.

First let me start with this being my first read by this author and Ibwas not disappointed. The book was good from start to end. Fillied with lots of twist and at times having you on the edge of your seat!

Keri has done it again!
Awesome storyline, great twist, kept me up all night reading.
I am never disappointed by a Beevis book. This is an absolute banger.
Oh and there's dogs guys, what's not to love?!?!
A must read.

Once I started this book, I didn't want to put it down! Nowhere to Hide is gripping, shocking, and tense! Woohoo! Keri Beevis never disappoints! What an addictive page turner!
He seemed like the perfect boyfriend. Duncan came across as charming, intelligent, caring, and generous. But soon after moving in, Callie learned his true nature. He is diabolical, controlling, and cruel. Getting away will prove to be beyond difficult.
Now after being helped, she is in hiding and setting up a new life for herself in Norfolk. But due to everything Duncan has put her through, she has a hard time relaxing. She is constantly checking her surroundings and fearing for her safety. I thought Beevis did a great job showing how traumatized Callie is because of the abuse she suffered. She is hypervigilant and anxious as a result.
This book was full of tension and a sense of danger. The pacing was spot on and kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed the mounting suspense and found myself feeling concerned for several characters. There is also a side story about a missing young woman that comes into play as well. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen next, Beevis threw in another twist and reveal.
Well written, well thought out, gripping, shocking and tense!

Callie Parker can’t believe her luck when she meets the most eligible Batchelor and ex movie star Duncan Stone, and he asks her out. Why me she thinks. Soon she finds herself in a whirlwind romance and he asks her to move into his estate. But, as soon as she moves in the real façade of Duncan Stone materializes. He turns out to be a controlling, manipulative and abusive man. She has seen how far the man will go and she feels that her life is in jeopardy. The only way she can escape this life is to fake her own death.
This is a tense, chilling read, with lots of twists and turns and I felt it is realistic account on what happens in a abusive relationship so much, that at times I had to stop because I felt it a little bit uncomfortable for me. Which has never happened before. But I am glad I finished it as it has a satisfying ending. 4 stars from me.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
This book was hard to put down from start to finish.
After Callie and her boyfriend start living together, she realises that maybe she shouldn’t have done. As he starts to abuse her, and uses her dog to torture her.
Slowly he begins to stop her from seeing her friends and family, blaming it on her in the process.
It was hard to read in places.
I highly recommend this book.

Complex thriller, fast paced and a disturbing look at mental and physical abuse. Realistic characters and an interesting storyline.

This book had me on edge until the end. The obsession and control was perfectly written and so believable. I will be searching for more of her books!

What a story, I cannot believe` that Callie allowed a handsome face take her in! Physical and mental abuse, she her self - respect and her feisty personality. Until one day when she she runs into a friend who refuses to be bullied away. After escaping from a boyfriend not her legal husband, but a boyfriend who has threatened to kill her, and he, Duncan Stone, handsome movie star means it when he says, I will kill you if you leave me. Finally Callie does, she has a plan, she thinks that she is somewhere safe, but is she?
This is brutal abuse, be warned.
I recommend if you can deal with abusive behavior.

“Nowhere to hide” by Keri Beeves
Wow, what a story, this had me gripped and I stayed up way too late to finish it!
"Nowhere to Hide" introduces us to Callie Parker, who finds herself swept off her feet by the charming and famous Duncan Stone. Initially flattered by his attention, Callie soon realises that her fairytale romance with Duncan is turning into a nightmare. Duncan's manipulation and control escalate, leaving Callie isolated and imprisoned in her own life. Desperate to escape, Callie must summon all her courage to break free from Duncan's clutches.
The book was so gripping and suspenseful, keeping me on the edge of their seats from start to finish. The alternating timelines between past and present provide depth to Callie's character and add suspension to the emotional story.
"Nowhere to Hide" is an unputdownable page-turner that delivers thrills and suspense in equal measure. I hope to read more by Keri Beevis's in the future.

Nowhere to Hide by Keri Beevis- UNPUTDOWNABLE!
Callie is willing to do anything to escape her abusive fiance Duncan, even fake her own death. Now living off the grid, Callie slowly starts to feel safe in her skin but soon will discover there is nowhere to hide.
Thank you #NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

***Trigger Warning*** Lots of mental and physical abuse!
I wish I could say I enjoyed reading this book but I truly did not. I spent most the time pissed off at this awful man. I actually had to take breaks from reading every time the man interacted with Chester the dog. As a big lover of dogs my heart was really hurting for Chester. All he wanted was to love and be near his mom 😓
Ok but besides the dog interactions- I did like the story. It does a great job at making you love the main character and really sympathize for her. I enjoyed that the last 25% really had me on the edge of my seat with suspense and topped it off with a great twist.
Thank you to NetGalley, Keri Beevis and the publisher for this early release in exchange for an honest review.
Edit Review

Having read and thoroughly enjoyed a number of Keri’s books, I was keen to get my hands on this latest offering and it did not disappoint! This is a fast paced and gripping psychological thriller which had me on the edge of my seat from page one. Told in ‘then’ and ‘now’ chapters, the tale mainly focusses on the relationship between Callie Parker and Duncan Stone. Duncan is a truly atrocious character and throughout I was wishing for his downfall, whereas Callie is easy to like, and root for – her sheer determination and resilience are to be commended.
As you would expect, due to the nature of the book, there are descriptions on physical and mental abuse, which are not gratuitous but nevertheless are powerful and felt very real. I will also say that, if like me, you worry about animal abuse in a book like this, no animals are harmed, even though the threat is there. All in all, and gripping and incredibly emotional tale, which is not for the faint hearted, and due to the subject matter should perhaps be approached with caution.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC of Nowhere to Hide by Keri Beevis.
Callie Parker meets the famous Duncan Stone at an event. He is rich, handsome, charming and one of the country's most eligible bachelors. To her surprise he is interested in her! They have a whirlwind romance as Duncan sweeps Callie off her feet. It doesn't take long before Callie is moving into his sprawling estate. Before long Callie discovers that Duncan isn't the kind loving man she fell for. He is cruel, manipulative and controlling. Callie is completely isolated and alone. She desperately wants to escape and with help from a friend she is able to escape to the countryside to a small ranch.
Callie is relieved she escaped and is in a safe place with an old friend but can't help but still feel paranoid in her little hideaway. She hears someone outside and night and wonders if someone has been in her home while she has been out Duncan is rich and powerful so who knows what lengths he would go to get her back. Has Duncan found her? What will he do to her?
I really enjoyed this book. It was suspenseful, thrilling and definitely a page turner. The depiction of abuse is brutal and felt so real and although hard to read at times, it made you feel how desperate Callie felt.
This was my first read by Keri Beeves and won't be my last. She wrote beautifully complex characters and she really knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. I read this book in 2 days and couldn't stop thinking about it when I put it down. I've never hated a character more than Duncan Stone and I've read many disturbing books! 4 star read for me!
