This was an okay story with a good message, but it became very repetitive which made it kind of a chore to finish. I enjoyed learning more about Danny's life, both the trials and blessings he has had. I was kind of disappointed that there weren't any pictures included, but that's not too big of a deal. All in all this wasn't too bad but it's not something I'd recommend.

I've never read anything by this author, so I didn't really know what to expect. I was really encouraged and learned a ton from this book and look forward to reading more from this author. I highly recommend this book.

Uplifting, light, appealing. Danny Gokey is an appeling guy, as many of us saw on American Idol. The book covers hope and despair.

I loved Danny on American Idol, so I had to pick up his memoir. Though repetitive, the message to not give up was very inspirational, especially in light of his circumstances.
