I'm not sure if my problem is with the author's writing style or with the translation. Lots of exclamation points-are they used more commonly in Turkey. Were they really saying things like "What's up" in World War II? I realize it can be traced back to the 19th century England, but it doesn't sound Turkish! The story itself is good and remains interesting to the end.
