*King Hall* by Scarlett Dawn is a captivating fantasy novel that blends romance, intrigue, and action in a unique setting. The story is set in a world where royalty, magic, and political power intersect, focusing on the main character, Fallon, who is training to become part of an elite group called the King Hall Academy. She finds herself drawn into a web of complex relationships, loyalty, and secrets, particularly when it comes to her growing feelings for multiple individuals with their own agendas.

Dawn’s writing is fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on world-building and character development. The romantic tension is palpable, and the love triangle adds layers of intrigue to the story. The fantasy elements, such as magic and the political dynamics between different factions, create an engaging backdrop for the unfolding drama.

While *King Hall* can feel a bit predictable at times, especially for fans of the fantasy romance genre, it stands out with its rich character interactions and exciting plot twists. If you enjoy stories with romance, magic, and plenty of drama, *King Hall* will be an entertaining read.

An interesting read and I liked the writing style.
Many thanks to Harlequin Enterprises Australia and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

Though not a perfect read, I really enjoyed "King Hall" and was excited to dive into a "new adult" fantasy. I really enjoyed Scarlett Dawn's writing and characters (I'm always here for a sarcastic bad-ass of an FMC) and adored Ezra, I love a character-driven plot, so I was very here for "King Hall" and think this is a great first novel in a series that introduces the world and cast well. Though the humor is sometimes a bit cringey, it's not a dealbreaker, and ultimately I enjoyed this book way more than I griped about it!

Well what can I say. This was an interesting look into this world. One in which I liked. I like the way that they are para normal's, all different but they live and work together to govern the different types. Lots of silly rules in place but have doesn't every world. I like the relationships and how they form. How embarrassing to be feeding your friend (with blood) but everyone thinks your sleeping together. I bet they will be soon. This one sets the story up nicely.

I loved the concept and the emotions this story pulled out of me, but for some reason I struggled to connect with the characters. I still really liked it and think the next book will be worth reading.

God, how I love this book. It sucks you in and makes you a part of the characters. Makes you a part of their lives. I couldn't help but read it in one sitting, it was that phenomenal. It's actually in my top 10 favorites and never leaving my Kindle!

(This is my second review as the original disappeared on Amazon :/ )
