I always love this author ms book so when I seen this I knew I was going to be in for a great read and wow I was not disappointed. I loved the writing style which I think kept me glued to my kindle could not put it down. The characters were well developed and the story just flowed throughout. There was many twists and turns which I did not guess. Overall fantastic thriller which i will be highly recommending. One of my favourites I have read this year so far. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy.

Top-drawer escapism!
The book was well written in that it stirred up all sorts of emotions while I was reading it and made me want to keep turning the pages to find out what would happen next. Dark and compelling, a slow-motion collapse; I read it in 24 hours with my heart in my mouth. So good!

It started out ok. Not a big fan of the writing style.
3rd pov alternating between the 2 MCs.

It’s pretty clear from the start both are unreliable narrators. Both were keeping secrets.

It has family and friendship issues, couple dramas and plot twists.

What i liked
- i liked the mystery at first. It did make me keep reading,
- The plot was good
- There was one small plot twist i didnt see coming

What i didnt like
- the writing style was not for me,
- I didn’t like the characters
- this book was frustrating at times, after a while it was hard to finish.
- I pretty much guessed everything except that one small plot twist,

Over all it was okay.

Her wedding day should be the happiest day of a bride's life, but Nicci keeps replaying an accident from a few days ago, and entertaining ongoing doubts about whether Ethan is really her best match. Will she find the answers that can keep her out of jail -- and out of the morgue?

The two main characters were not always likeable and the woman's complete turnaround in personality seemed unlikely. That said, this was still an enjoyable read, though the plot unfolded in somewhat predictable ways.

Bride and Groom was a great read! I really enjoyed the twists and turns and was rooting for Nicci to have the best possible outcome since she had been through so much. Nicci was newly married to Ethan, and it didn't seem to be the fairytale romance she deserved. Ethan has secrets, and so does Nicci as we get to learn more about her.
But someone is lying in their relationship, someone is false and it may lead to deadly consequences! Grab Bride and Groom and enjoy.

Bride and Groom was a domestic drama with a bit of thrill. Lots of betrayal, drama, very unlikable characters, but it did have some very good twists and turns.

Nicci and Ethan are getting married. While out celebrating a few nights before their wedding, they couldn't get a cab so Nicci drove the short distance home. Howevver, she hit a pedestrian. This starts the loop of how Nicci and Ethan and going to keep this secret.

I expected something much different from this book. Not sure what, but not what the book was. I honestly was happy to get to the end and find out the conclusion. There were a few amazing twists and red herrings thrown in, but all in all, the characters were so unlikable, I really didn't care what they did.

This is a great read from Rona Halsall, an author whose books I've come to love. It's an ideal thriller with heaps of tension, building to a great ending

This book was very chaotic (in a good way). A bride and groom commit a crime together and make a promise during their vows to keep each others secret. Except for it’s the type of secret to eat away at you at night. Books starts off a little slow but still interesting. Once its picks up you are thrown through several hoops. Some plots I guessed, others left me yelling at the book “oh no you did not!” Just when you think the book is wrapping up you’ll find out more details and another twist

Another great thriller from Frieda McFadden. So many twists and turns that made this book so hard to put down. I never guessed the ending.

Family issues, couple drama and friendship betrayals. When you think you understood it all, there is still more to come. The wists and turns are crazy and will leave you guessing until the end.

To be honest, Nicci annoyed me in some parts but I liked seeing her character grow and change and I had a soft spot for her dad. Nicci and Ethan had so many secrets for a couple that seemed like they were perfectly normal.

It might not be fast paced but this thriller is full of secrets, lies and suspense that get you hooked from the start and makes it impossible for you to stop reading because all you want is figure out the plot.

This author is one of my absolute favourites and I knew that once I picked up their new book everything else would need to be put on hold. As always this was a fabulous read and I was gripped from the first page and couldn’t put it down. It was very dark and deep in places and really makes you think. Lots of twists and turns and jaw dropping moments.

This was such an exciting book filled with so many twists and turns that I never knew what to expect next! I enjoyed the fast paced and flowing style of Rona Halsall and I’m looking forward to reading more books by her soon.

This was such a good read! It had everything you from a domestic noir, the lies, the deceit, the secrets, the shady behaviour, the tension, the twists and that final big reveal at the end! A few parts felt a bit slow but the plot did mainly keep moving forward at a good pace and even saying that, it never dragged or felt like pointless waffle. A really enjoyable read

Unfortunately I wasn't a fan of Bride and Groom. I felt like a good part of the book was very slow going and the last bit was rushed. I didn't find the characters likeable. There was some twist that I didn't see coming.

Wow this is a really dark book about what should
Be the start of a beautiful new life for a young couple that’s spirals out of control when they make a silly mistake when driving and drive away from an accident. As Nicki tries to cope with what they did and to completely remember how it happens her new husband is determined to ensure the secret is not discovered. I won’t spoil this one but as always Rona does not disappoint.

This story kicks off with Nikki and Ethan getting married, the take an additional vow which they add because they share a devastating secret. The problem is this secret is snowballing and when they both have secrets from each other too it’s clear this is not newly married bliss,

The book takes us down different routes with red herrings and some very unlikeable characters.

I am literally still in shock from that ending. The amount of twists in this book is fantastic and the best part is - every single twist you definitely won't see coming they suprise you and leave you shook. Throughout the book I was frightened and scared for Nicci. Honestly my heart was pounding. Such a brilliant read which I flew through as I was hooked.

This was so gripping, my jaw dropped SO many times throughout this book I didn’t know what was going to happen next. I loved Pete, and wished we had a couple more father-daughter scenes but what we got really got me. While I did guess who the hit and run was, I did not expect THAT twist. In the end, the comeuppance was amazing and so deserved.

I love Rona Halsall books. If you enjoy psychological suspense that will keep you on your toes you will enjoy this one. Just be careful who you let in your life.
