Enjoyable thriller

Alison Kane died in a fiery Lamborghini crash with her Bitcoin boss, Maxwell. A year later, widower Cameron Kane and their seven year old daughter are still adjusting to living without her.

When Cameron sees a man who resembles Maxwell, doubts about their deaths begin to stir inside him and Cameron can't help but dig up the investigation and question everything.

I enjoyed this thriller and I find the pace pretty solid. Actions await later but the plot was intriguing from the beginning and kept me guessing all the way. I have to say that the reveal was just a tad letdown, but overall a great listen with George Newbern's narration.
7/10 ~ 3.5⭐

Cameron lost his wife in a car crash a year ago, but as he is walking through an airport now, he swears he sees the man who was killed in the car crash with her. This just can't be... Cameron goes on a twisty search to find out what happened to his wife Alison and if she could still be alive.

The story starts slow, but picks up speed about halfway. The reason for the 3 stars is because I found the story a bit unrealistic and silly. If you like those somewhat unrealistic action thrillers, you might really enjoy this one.

The narrator for this audiobook was enjoyable to listen to and kept me engaged throughout.

A chance encounter in the airport led to the resolution of Cameron's heartache - with a ton of heartache along the way! I didn't see that twist coming but so happy that it did! I would love to read more of Cameron and his family! This was my 1st book by Hilton Reed but will not be my last, I am adding all of his books to my TBR!

A thrilling mystery. This one felt like your typical crime investigation that included conspiracies and mercenaries. A husband and father goes through all mean necessary for the truth. At time this felt a bit unrealistic but kept my attention through despite it. A little underwhelming but definitely action packed.

Wow! This was a great thriller with so much thought put into it. I was hooked from the beginning and could not put it down. I loved the plot and the characters. I hoped that Cameron would find out that his wife’s death had been staged and loved the ending.

This book started out really good but all the times he was shot at were just unbelievable that he and his entire family is all alive and well. So I struggled with the perfectly happy ending.

This book started out really good but then it became a little farfetched., too much shooting and death. It just seemed very unrealistic and unbelievable. I listened to the audiobook and I did enjoy the narrator.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is one of my favorites, he has a soothing voice that seems calm and reassuring even in chaos. Perfect for this book! I loved the storyline and the pacing of the book. I looked for more written by this author and discovered it is his debut novel! He has a great writing style that held my interest throughout while still letting me feel like I truly knew the characters. Highly recommend and I will definitely read more by this author in the future!

This book should be a movie!!
Lots of action packed! Kept you on the edge of your seat

What would you do if your your wife died in a car crash? What would you do if, after a year later, her boss that died in the car crash with your wife, you suddenly heard his voice and a catchphrase that only he used to say
Would you ignore it? Do you need closure? Are you imagining things? Or do you think there's more to find out about the day your wife died

Maxwell Harding billionaire has been killed in a firey car crash. Alongside him, Alison Cane, wife of Cameron Cane, a photographer and journalist. What was she doing with Maxwell. Maxwell was already wearing an ankle bracelet due to fraud within his company. He was her boss, yes, but at this point, he was already being investigated. Cameron misses his wife, and with the anniversary of the death approaching fast, perhaps he is just putting too much effort into what happened that day inside that car before it crashed and then burned

Hilton Reed's BEYOND ALL DOUBT is a twisty action suspense about a grieving widower who believes there are dark secrets behind his wife's death and begins a dangerous search.

How far will some go to keep their secrets buried?

Cameron Kane's wife, Alison, died in a car crash fire about a year ago, and he grieves while trying to raise his seven-year-old daughter, Sabrina. He attempts to get on with his life and dating someone new.

However, he sees someone, something that makes him second-guess that his wife is dead. She was supposedly in a Lamborghini with Maxwell Harding, a wealthy white-collar criminal, but they were sure they died in the horrific accident.

This man resembles Maxwell—the man who was pronounced dead beyond all doubt more than a year ago.

Could his wife still be alive, and was this just a set-up for Cameron to escape his crimes? If so, where is she? Cameron hires a private detective and learns there is more to the story.

Can he trust the woman he is dating, or is she part of a setup? Is this a devious scheme, and are he, his wife, and his daughter collateral damage?

His doubt sends him down a rabbit hole as he begins questioning everything and everyone in this life. He slowly unravels dangerous secrets, lies, and betrayals, and he must solve this mystery, putting himself in harm's way in the process.

BEYOND ALL DOUBT is a fast-paced thriller with action and suspense.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by the talented George Newbern, who made the characters come alive.

While I enjoyed the audio, the story lacked some depth, had too many characters, and was missing something that made it unputdownable. It was very slow in the middle and faster near the end. It was not a favorite.

Thanks to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an ALC for an honest opinion.

A thoroughly absorbing and entertaining tale of a widower trying his best to get on with his life with his daughter - harrowing in places but desperately wanting to achieve the best he can. The twists then start coming thick and fast!

Thank you Netgalley for my copy.

I'm sorry to do this, but I didn't like this book at all.
I'm not sure how to describe it other than the fact it was just too... Masculine (for me!). Everything was boom boom, zoom zoom. I kinda expected Vin Diesel or Jason Statham to pop up.

I know this will appeal to others though.

Really enjoyed this fast paced thriller. Although the plot was pretty far fetched, it kept me listening. The narration on the audibook was good, well performed and fit the story well.

Beyond All Doubt
Hilton Reed
Cameron Kane’s wife, Alison died in a fatal car crash a year ago. Alison was a brilliant mathematician whose boss is under investigation for several white-collar crimes. Alison didn’t trust her boss, Maxwell Harding. So why was she in the car with him when it exploded. Cameron is filled with grief for his wife, but he is also puzzled as to why she was in a Lamborghini with Maxwell Harding. Cameron was trying to move on and start a new life with his seven-year-old daughter, Sabrina. Cameron and Sabrina have a routine, they spend most of their time together. He isn’t interested in starting a connection with anyone, but Marika recently came into his life, and she seems to be pushing for a relationship and they haven’t even dated yet. When he sees a man that looks like Maxwell Harding Cameron an airport. Cameron realizes things do not add up. He consults with Mickey Donovan, a private investigator. Donovan is an ex-military, ex-police, and tough! Cameron knows something is wrong. Everyone around him is in danger.
If Harding is alive could his wife be alive too. Cameron begins to question everything. Something doesn’t feel right. Things just don’t add up. Cameron can’t let it go so he begins investigating his wife’s death. People thought he had lost his mind.
I love this book! Kudos to Hilton Reed. The book I well written. Once the action starts it doesn’t stop! The plot moves from thrill to another. There are twists and turns, danger and even a bit of humor. The characters were well fleshed out. The plot was intellectual, appealing and creative. I will be watching for more books by this author.
Thank you NetGalley fffffor providing me with a copy of this book for review.

I loved Beyond All Doubt. Cameron's wife, Allison, is supposedly killed in a car crash with her billionaire boss. Cameron spots the billionaire boss months later in an airport. And that's when the fun begins. This novel kept me at the edge of my seat throughout its pages, The narrator is one of my favorites.

This was really enjoyable and an easy listen. The first half was a bit slow setting you up for the remainder which is all go. Yes I didn't really understand the mechanics of cyber and prime numbers but it worked regardless for me I have more of an understanding now though. I liked the narration. It kept me really interested.

I was given an advance copy by netgalley and the publishers but the review is entirely my own.

This was definitely a compelling premise and storyline but it just did not do it for me. There was something missing from the narrative in order to make it a stellar read.

Overall, I did enjoy this audiobook, but there were parts that lacked me. The beginning started off great. It was a bit slower paced but set us up for the plot. The build-up was informative and really got you interested, and then things took a turn.

Once we reached that point about halfway through, the paced really picked up, and it was nothing but action. This made for the pacing to feel a bit uneven. The first half of the book contained no language, but once the action started, so did the language. The many characters also tended to get confusing as there was so much going on, making it a bit hard to keep up.

I really liked the narrator and thought he was a perfect pairing for this story. I will be on the lookout for this narrator in the future as I enjoyed his voice. Thank you, NetGalley, and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen and review this advanced copy.

This was a good story, from a great premise that didn’t deliver as well as it could have done, but was enjoyable, nevertheless.

Cameron Kane’s wife died in a car accident with a colleague a year earlier, so when Cameron sees that same colleague at an airport, he challenges everything he believed to be true. The book started off brilliantly, but the pacing was a bit off in places and there were so many characters involved, it became quite confusing. I would have preferred less characters and better development of those that were really key to the story. A great ending though with some gripping tension.

I listened to the audiobook which was narrated by George Newbern. I did find the narration to be quite robotic with an AI feel, so a different, more natural narrator would have perhaps made the book more enjoyable for me.

3 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Hilton Reed and Dreamscape for an ARC in return for an honest review.
