The Mirror is a an example of Nora Roberts at her best! She is a fantastic writer and I didn’t want the book to end. Thankfully we get one more in the trilogy to look forward to. I finished reading The Mirror quickly and was left gasping for more! The ghostly characters are as important to me as the main characters. Very multi dimensional storytelling keeps me coming back.

This series is fantastic! Be warned, you definitely need to start with Book 1-The Inheritance.
These characters are so likable and The Manor is like a character itself. This installment, The Mirror, picks up where the last left off. The Poole brides have stories to share with Sonya and as she uncovers more about her home and the tragedies it witnessed. Sonya is compelled to break the family curse, but she’s not alone, she has a great support system. This tale was filled with paranormal action-I couldn’t stop reading until I came to the ending, and even then I wasn’t ready for that to be the end. I can’t wait for the conclusion to this series!

I always love that Ms. Roberts seems to hook me from the first chapter and I immediately fall into her books and this is no different. Sonya, Owen, her best friend Cleo, and Sonya's burgeoning romance with Trey is incredibly interesting and I was invested in their relationship from the beginning in the first book and this book deepens that.

With the backdrop of Maine, mansions, mystery, the supernatural, and of course, romance, I loved every aspect of this book and my only complaint is that I will have to wait for the final installment.

Let's hope they are able to stop the killing of the brides!

This is book 2 in Nora Robert's newest trilogy. The suspense builds as Sonya, Trey, Owen and Cleo continue their quest to retrieve the 7 rings and bring peace to the brides and grooms of the Manor. There are so many great twists in this story, and so easy to give spoilers, a must-read trilogy.

The Mirror is the second book in the Lost Bride Trilogy and picks up exactly where the first one left off; you really do need to read The Inheritance before this book for it to make much sense. This book was a bit slower paced and was more about revealing key information on each of the brides’ deaths and other facts from the past, which is probably going to be key for Sonya and her friends to break the curse in the final book. I really like the bond between the friends, and the bonds they are developing with the ghosts in the house; and the role that play in the story, overall.

Fans of Nora Roberts who like her trilogy books that are steeped in magic and fantasy will love this one, too!

And ghosties, bump in the nights, and the witch abound. This second book is background and filler to this trilogy and I enjoyed every second, as we continue on the quest. Cleo and Owen along with some of the brides get a glimpse into their own stories and the manor and its history “rock on”. Love the Clover and music inserts, Jack and Yoda make a sweet aside. Relax and enjoy, if you have not read the first book, grab it now because the next book will be the crescendo.

I was so excited for this one and squealed when I got the email to read it. Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors and I feel like this series will have a special place in my heart as book 1 was the last book I read before my son was born. It was honestly the perfect thing I needed both this year and last.

I loved being back in Maine and Lost Bride Manor. I’m obsessed with these characters and how they all just really get each other. The first book definitely ended on a cliffhanger and I was dying to find out what happens next! And of course, this one also ended on a cliffhanger so I’m (im)patiently waiting for the last book in this series.

The Mirror was the second book in the Bride series by Nora Roberts. It was a good read, however it took me a while to get into, as I had to vrecall the previous book. A suggestion would be to have a short synopsis of book one to help the reader recall the premise of the book. Once recall kicked in I thoroughly enjoyed the story and got wrapped up in it.. I am eagerly awaiting the third installment .

This is the second book of the Lost Brides Trilogy; it somewhat recaps a bit of the storyline from the first book and the romance between the protagonist and Trey deepens, as well as the romance between Cleo and Owen. The witch Hannah Dobbs haunting the castle continues to plague them while more backstory and portraits of the 7 murdered brides of the Poole family continue to resurface..

Inheritance left me hanging in the worst way, but The Mirror picks up right where it left off and continues this gripping story. I love getting to go back in time and experience the bride's stories and all of the ghostly activity in the manor house, friendly and frightening! Both Sonya and Cleo's careers and romances move forward in book two and you get a deeper understanding of the Poole family and its curse. I am loving this series! Book three, I am waiting with bated breath!

“The Mirror” by Nora Roberts is book 2 in “The Lost Bride Trilogy. This book picks up exactly where “the Inheritance” leaves off without much explanation of the previous book so I encourage everyone to read book one first as this definitely is not a stand alone!
While our heroine continues her life in her new community and along with her best friend who lives with her, they continue to fight the dominant malevolent spirit who occupies her haunted mansion. They are committed to fight the evil presence and break the curse of the many generations of deaths of her former family members that took place around each of their weddings.
Ultimately, this book fills out the story of the 7 brides but it lacked a lot of the tension that kept me glued to book one. The ghosts are friendly, helpful and entertaining. The scenes that take us back in time as witnesses are cozy. I was hoping for more fear and danger, but I am suspiciously hopeful our incredibly gifted author is setting the stage for a stunning book 3!

I knew this one was going to be a good one!! Nora didn't disappoint at all!! It's more than good, it's Great!! Seven is a powerful number and Sonya and crew are finding out that learning of the seven, Seven Brides, Seven rings, is a really wild ride. Sonya was told early on that the manor she inherited was haunted, now she, along with her love interest, Trey, her best friend, Cleo and her cousin Owen, along with some lovable canine and one laid-back cat, is learning there is more to the banging, door slamming and bell ringing. Say hello to Hester, well better know as Dobbs, also better known as the wicked witch. Boy, does Dobbs keep the crew on their toes, but not to be outdone, the magical mirror comes around often to add to the mystery of The Manor. Want to join in on the fun? Hope you do and I can hardly wait to see how this one ends. Five stars, not enough, but the best I can do!! Highly recommend!!

Book #2 in the series, just as good as book #1! Dobbs scares the beejezus out of me, but all the other ghostly characters seem so kind. It must be nice having a ghost who waters your flowers and does your dishes! Aside from that, the premise of the book continued on well, and leads right into what will be Book #3 whenever it comes out. Another hit!

Ahhh she nails it again. Another amazing story at the Lost Bride Manor. We now have heard how all 7 brides died, and more about the amazing lives Sonya and Cleo have made for themselves at the manor. I love the addition of the cat to the family, and the return of the evil ex. I truly cannot wait to see how she ties this all together. Is the ex related to Hobbs?!

Book 2 in The Lost Bride Trilogy was just as good as the 1st. I loved finding out that Owen is in the mix for good. He’s great with Cleo. The back story of all the brides now lends to seeing how Sonya will be the rings back. Absolutely cannot wait for book 3. Thank you for the ARC NetGalley and St Martins Publishing Group

As a Nora Roberts junkie, I was so very honored and thrilled to be awarded this ARC. I loved the first The Lost Bride book(The Inheritance ) and could not wait to read the second. I am very happy to say the book was so good. I love the story line and cast of characters (especially the pets, ghosts, and house). The only thing I don’t like about this book, is that it I will have to wait so long for book 3.
If you love a suspenseful story with a side order of romance and fun characters, you should check this series out.

I absolutely love all of Nora Roberts books, so I knew I would like this new book as well. The Mirror is the second book in the Lost Bride Trilogy and I really enjoyed reading it, couldn’t put it down. I loved all the main characters that we first met in the the first book. This book had everything a, witch, friendly ghosts and a little romance and I can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy to see how it all gets resolved. Thank you Netgalley for this arc.

Thanks to Net Galley for giving me the opportunity to read this book. It took me awhile to get into it but once I did I didn't want to stop reading. Sometimes the dialogue was a little hard to follow as to who said what and I had to go back and read a paragraph or two to understand. I loved the progression of the relationships between Sonia, Trey, Cleo and Owen and more family. I not usually one for ghosts but this works well. I enjoyed how they all embraced the good ghosts and stuck it to "Dobbs". Descriptions of things were so vivid I could picture every detail in my mind. Looking forward to the last book

After finishing Inheritance, I was so glad that I had a copy of The Mirror to jump right into. Sonya, Cleo, Trey, and Owen continue their quest to embrace the supernatural occupiers of the List Bride Manor and fight for any information that will help them get rid of the Entity that lives in the Gold Room. While there wasn’t a lot of resolution in the story, we continue to get information about the seven brides, as well as the developing friendships between the main characters. I can’t wait for the next one!

I loved this second book in the Lost Bride Trilogy. This continues the story of Sonya who inherited a family manor and its history. The story is enthralling and creepy enough to make you stop reading it once it gets dark. I can’t wait for the last in the trilogy!
