This was a strong sequel in the Children of the Phoenix series, it had that element of everything that I was looking for and enjoyed the concept overall. The characters were everything that I wanted and enjoyed from the first book. Oskar Källner has a great writing style and glad I got to go back to this world.

Great art, but simplistic story. Wish there had been some additional character growth, as everyone more feels like they are along for the ride than anything else. Lots of POV jumps that tend to confuse the narrative rather than enhance it.

My son loved this! He's 10 and called the story "epic". As a fan of Star Wars and Guardians of the galaxy, he was sucked in. He also really enjoyed the character breakdowns and the ship pictures. He is so eager for the next one!
