"Get Over Yourself" by Dave Kerpen is like a refreshing breeze in the cluttered world of self-help books. As a small business owner juggling work, family, and life's curveballs, I found Kerpen's approach both relatable and practical. His emphasis on delegation as a key to success isn't groundbreaking, but it's his down-to-earth delivery and real-life anecdotes that make the difference.

What sets this book apart is Kerpen's ability to blend humor with wisdom. I found myself nodding along with his stories and chuckling at his witty insights. Plus, knowing that he's walked the talk with successful business ventures adds credibility to his advice. Whether you're a seasoned entrepreneur or just dipping your toes into leadership waters, "Get Over Yourself" offers actionable strategies to reclaim your time and focus on what truly matters. It's a five-star read that's already earned a permanent spot on my bookshelf, ready for whenever I need a dose of inspiration and practical guidance.

Here are some of the things that I liked about the book:
- Lots of examples. Every reader would find themselves in some of them and therefore making the recommendations more personal.
- It simple and easy to read.
- Simple frameworks that are easy to remember.

Here are some things that I missed in the book:
- If we remove all the stories, the crux of the book could have been written as an essay. So, I missed more meat in the overall content or interesting insights in the book.

Overall, the book touches on an important topic for all leaders - entrepreneurs or not and provides some interesting ideas to put into practice.
