If you like the Jason Bourne franchise, you’ll love this book. Fortunately, I do like the Jason Bourne franchise and I gobbled up this book. Jacob Dedman is an American government asset gone rouge. Trained to kill and genetically enhanced, Dedman is the ultimate apex predator and his old paymasters need to rein in him in before they find themselves on the wrong end of his skillset. With the narrative sweeping across Europe, Dedman uses his considerable talents to evade his pursuers whilst trying to reason with the agency that now wants to rub him out.

A slick read that keeps its foot to the floor right till the end. I downloaded a copy of The Dedman Emergence on NetGalley. My thanks to the author and publisher for making this book available.

A thriller featuring Jacob Dedman, a very likeable and admirable character, as a genetically modified asset for a black ops program led by a high-ranking group of CIA management. A better explanation of Jacob’s physical and mental adaptations, once accepted into the program, would have enhanced the story. I received an ARC from NetGalley, and the opinions expressed are my own.
